We have actually no clue if we're stressgenic, traumagenic, or endogenic cuz we genuinely don't remember anything from that time of our life except for tiny snippets

even tho we don't involve ourself in syscourse we do respect dni/byf/byi etc.

so if it says endo dni I won't interact because maybe I am one, who knows

I think I am someone else but..

To other plurals (targeted mostly at median systems) do you ever feel like you want to be you, the host, but you also feel like that doesn't fit currently? And no it's not like co-fronting with host/facet it's like fighting for front at the moment. You don't want to let go of your identity so you're stuck with "host or facet?".

Even though you remind yourself you're still valid as a person if you're not host it still feels bad.

Hi! So, we heard you're a willogenic system and wondered if maybe your experiences could help with our own?

Basically, we're a median monoconscious system made up of primarily facets. We struggle to tell ourselves apart but we want to work towards functional multiplicity.

Do you think your tactics on fleshing out / adding detail to your willomates (hope it's okay if we call them that) would be helpful for us to differentiate ourselves from each other?

the ways that we used to flesh out our willogenic headmates also worked on our self formed endogenic and stressgenic headmates :D which makes me think that it would be pretty useful for others non-willogenic systems/alters :3

some of our most useful things we do is have a list of all of us and information on all of us (name, pronouns, genders, sexualities, personality traits, features, and other things to note), make picrews once in a while of everyone on the list to see if there are any changes yall are able to see, if you have even a small bit of an inner world (like we do) try to imagine everybody doing everyday things (it helps with visualization, possible communication, fleshing out personalities, and bonding) when you have down time (we like to do this as we fall asleep, usually getting into a big cuddle pile, lmao), and try to get a count on how many of you there are, also try to give everyone a name, even if it is temporary and will change (its just a placeholder and may help to see what their preferences in names are), and drawing a simple idea of what everyone looks like helps a lot - even if its not the most accurate it still just gives you a general idea

System Origins

📗 I have been thinking that we may not necessarily be traumagenic in the narrow sense. I recently came across the term stressgenic, meaning a system that develops due to prolonged severe stress rather than something more traditionally labeled as trauma. Which makes a hell of a lot of sense for us, honestly. And yes, exposure to prolonged severe stress can be a type of trauma, but it's still distinct. And I can't point to a single event that may have split us, but going back through my memories, Firekeeper has been here for over a year. And then Blind Seer developed. I think Angel was the tipping point. But the point is, there isn't a single incident that I can point to. Rather, everyone seems to have come from a period of prolonged stress. So I feel stressgenic might be a better descriptor for our origins than traumagenic.
