Then you write it down! (On a note or journal so you can keep reading it and reminding yourself what you want to became) ALSO PLEASE KEEP IT SIMPLE!!! Dont overwork yourself then you will became drained and say you will do it tomorrow!!! Lets start things simple like "She studys atleast 1 hour daily" Then YOU TRY to do that daily until you achieved your goal!!! (Also motivation isnt always gonna work ITS SELF DISCPLINE thats gonna work, FORCE yourself nobody isnt gonna always help you so help yourself! :/) Then after that maybe You can try newer highs!!!

At first, I was kind of at a loss on what song to use to vid for SoKai this year. Because, if I'm being honest, I started their video late. And I didn't really know if I had time to edit them this year. I knew that if I did make something for them, it would have to be with a shorter song (or a song edited to be short).

This song came to mind... and at first, I actually wasn't sure if I wanted to use it, because it's Max and Liz's song from the TV show "Roswell." And as much as I love SoKai, of course, I didn't know if I wanted to use Max and Liz's song with anyone else. But in the end... it also fits SoKai so well. And I'm glad that I DID use it, because I do think this video came out pretty sweet. I hope you all enjoy it. And happy SoKai Day:)

Ok bestie, anon who followed up on Amoore reporting back as requested ha. I should say we are on a similar page, her & Kitley are very tough to get a read on. And a lot of the online chatter agrees its hard to judge and goes back and forth on whether theres something more going on. For those interested, I suggest watching their youtube ch series for a general sense of them interacting. Entertaining and light vids, not overly long. Really just little things between them here & there that add up. And of course a person can review their socials..

Now onto the tea I came across online. Imperfectly summarized the best I can below. (Allow me to stipulate that I have no way of verifying any of this, so please understand Im not at all sharing any of this to be presented as true or false. Take it as simply passing along the posting of others for conversations sake here in a safe space. Comments/feedback/corrections welcome)

Its described as on/off thing, first beginning summer 2020. A VT insider says people are aware that Amoore hasnt been committed, to put it delicately/nicely. Leading most recently to a break of sorts last Dec-mid Jan. (Added pretty sure they are together rn though. And another person did point out if Liz was getting cheated on why would Georgia seem to maintain a good relationship with the Kitley family, which is a fair Q to pose). But notably, a strangely long break in their podcast took place over that period and for the first time in 3 years they didn’t spend XMas together or hang around each other over the holiday and when podcast recording returned they just said “we had Xmas” and didn’t talk about it. It was also pointed out that sometime in winter, Liz had tickets to see an NHL game and went w Cayla King despite her and Georgia talking about how they wanted to go together before. Only sus bc it happened to coincide w the time where Georgia was speculated to have gotten close to Kate Martin. Then suddenly they K & G werent interacting anymore and L & G seem back to being “besties”.

Sidenotes:

Liz’s "2020 love playlist"… apparently someone has screenshots that it used to be titled Georgia. Includes some fav bands/songs of Amoores. And a tune called Australia Street lol. Lots of love songs predictably, but some breakup songs were added to it at one point (the comment seems to insinuate during the time they were going through issues)

They're friends with a married lesbian couple (Youtubers/influencers? The Bellaires) who they once visited alone.

Also, fyi, Kate Martin is apparently recently back w her last ex, whoever that is - per talk re social media activity

I'm ngl, I was never the most invested in V-Tech or the girls on the team, so I don't really follow them. And I was pretty convinced Liz was straight so I just assumed her and Georgia really were just really close besties.

But this checks out with what I've heard/read too, that they were in that "undefined" kinda place, mainly because of Georgia and eventually Liz got tired of it. I definitely didn't know about the Christmas or the NHL stuff but that makes sense. Also from what I heard, they were probably done for good now with Liz going to the draft? But still being together also makes sense. I'm so invested in this now omg.

Most Listened 2024

Spotify Unwrapped may capture which songs I literally listened to the most this year, but my annual Most Listened playlist captures more the ~*~vibe~*~. It's the songs I discovered or rediscovered this year that I just kept coming back to — here's my abridged version of that list:

Thrash Unreal // Against Me (2007) - Against Me is one of my perennial most-listened-to bands and so each year I'm cycling through a new favorite to have on repeat. This song — in addition to having a pounding beat that makes you want to scream along to it — is the only Against Me song my local karaoke bar has in its catalog so I've played it on repeat on many a long car ride.

Wax & Wane // Alana Henderson (2013) - This was definitely a Spotify suggestion that I immediately latched on to. Love the cello and love its lyrical dexterity. It kind of reminds me of my favorite filk? (In a good way!)

Hands Clean // Alanis Morissette (2002) - I've been getting more into Alanis over the past few years and, as is clear from this list, I 👏 love 👏 a bitter 👏 breakup 👏 song

Happier Than Ever // Billie Eilish (2021) - I LOVE A BITTER BREAKUP SONG. But also this is one of @periru3's go to karaoke songs and after hearing them absolutely fucking kill it week after week, I needed to listen to the real deal. Still think the best way to hear this song is in a crowded bar with Tessa singing but that build!! Something about the simplicity of a line like "'Cause that shit's embarrassing, you were my everything / And all that you did was make me fuckin' sad" really gut punches me.

Pink Pony Club // Chappell Roan (2024) - Finally actually listened to this like a week ago and it is an earworm! I should listen to literally everyone in my life and listen to more Chappell Roan.

No Smoke Without Fire // James Hunter (2006) - This is my favorite track from an album I listened to for my music recommendation algorithm job in 2006, and I've gotten back into it in a big way since P3 vidded it for last Festivids. He has a great retro sound.

I Hung My Head // Johnny Cash (2002) - The best thing about Johnny Cash's American Recordings is there are so many of them and I can (re)discover a new track every year or two that will completely take over my brain. My favorite country songs are full of doom and meaningless violence, and these lyrics are a master class of using passive language to avoid blame while still being overwhelmed by guilt: "My brother's rifle / Went off in my hand." Had no idea this was written by Sting until just now, lol.

Not Like Us // Kendrick Lamar (2024) - I am not immune to the zeitgeist.

Divorce Song // Liz Phair (1991) - This came on in the background and I was listening casually until the combination of deadpan and just absolutely crushing lyrics took the air out of my lungs: And the license said you had to stick around / Until I was dead / But if you're tired of looking at my face / I guess I already am."

Strawberry Blond // Mitski (2013) - This song is totally lovely but also I'm weirdly obsessed with the phrase "strawberry blond" so I was very susceptible.

Amy aka Spent Gladiator // The Mountain Goats (2012) - Listened to a ton of Mountain Goats this year, as always, but this is the one I vidded!

bad idea right? // Olivia Rodrigo (2023) - This is NOT the one I vidded but it is the song that made me realize my love of "brutal" might not be a fluke, but that I might actually just enjoy Olivia Rodrigo — as long as she's in upbeat, bratty mode. The music video for this really hooked me with its '90s vibes and attitude.

Voice in My Throat // Pearl and the Beard (2009) - Heard this one on Ame's character playlist for the Worlds Beyond Number podcast and loved the harmonies.

The Ballad of Lucy Gray Baird // Rachel Zegler (2023) - This one literally did make my Spotify playlist. I feel like I may have listened to this more than anyone alive, but — as you know — I love a bitter breakup song AND I love a dark folk ballad. I also rewatched and reread all of Hunger Games this year, which helped keep the soundtrack in rotation.

Buy You a New Attitude // Tianna Esperanza (2023) - Never going to stop discovering music through NPR, lol. The whole album is good but I love the jazzy sound and swagger of this track.

13 - Where or from whom did you learn how to gif

so i learned to use paintshop pro when i was in my early teens and had made gifs that way which i kind of just taught myself? like i might have looked up a few things back then but i don't think it was much because well when i was a teenager tumblr wasn't even a thing 🙈 and then when i was in my senior year i took a graphic design class because that actually used to be what i wanted to do so i learned how to gif in photoshop. however, i hadn't done it years because i turned to editing fan vids. those can just a) take a long time & b) sometimes there's just a scene i want to see in gif form so i decided to do it myself.

32 - What is your favorite tool/adjustment layer in Photoshop

hmm this a good question...i think without fail i always use a gradient map layer because it is just helpful with skin tones so i guess that one

40 - Why do you make gifs

so i did kind of touch on this in 13 but like the reason i haven't given it up is because i like sharing things with people, i like the community that has grown around around it. also there's liz who makes me tag them in everything even if they're not watching it and i imagine it's how my preschoolers feel when they draw two lines on paper and ask me if i like it and i ask them what it is before i pay them a compliment on it, again it's just about sharing something that i like with other people and being able to talk about it. (also i'm not good with words and cohesive thoughts so writing meta and/or fanfiction is just not for me)

Getting my shit together

Episode 1, season 1

Hiiii, today I didn’t go to school so I don’t have updates for that but I am going to get my shot together

I have been in this slump sleeping all day eating bad being negative and saying over and over again “I’ll do it tomorrow” or “I’ll do it later” and I’m tired of it, I’m tired of gaining back all the weight I lost I’m tired of having bad grades and never studying and I’m tired of being on my phone all day long feeling bad and sorry for myself.

I am going on a journey to change my life and change my outlook on life and actually have a role is society. So come with me on this journey!!!

I just did the lesserafim workout and I made my bed and now I’m watching the wizard Liz and I was watching a lot of motivational videos and wonyoungisum vids and it helps a lot!!

I drank about 4 bottles of water because I’m trying to drink more water and later I’m going to go for a run then shower.

I might post my planner/daily routine once I make a good one and I can share pics and videos that help me stay motivated to help you guys too!

I’ll let you guys know how it works out and stuff that helps me and you guys should comment your favorite ways to stay motivated or just what you do in the day and I’m open to answering questions:)))

Last time I saw LP was when she opened for the Pumpkins at the Saenger right after Prince died. It was a great show and she did a really beautiful cover of Nothing Compares 2 U. So I was expecting a good show and hearing all of Exile was so great. She was talkative (this is def her thing) adding commentary like "so many songs about Johnny but I'm still pissed at that guy". She also told us that she was amazed that people still love this album and came out for this.

"It's inspiring to me and I'm very grateful."
