It's interesting to me that Sydney talks to Carmy about bad communication, and when he admits and see she's still annoyed, he decides to make it up to her by asking about her personal life?

His way of showing he can improve communication is to discuss what's happening in Sydney's life.

At first, I thought maybe he was changing the topic because he didn't want to discuss it anymore. However, he could have simply asked, "Did you get the place?" and left it at that since he doesn't want to talk about the state of their communication.

But he doesn’t just walk away to continue with his job. For the first time, he isn’t constantly moving and working non-stop. Instead, he decides to take a piece of gum, stand there, and make an effort to talk to her about what’s going on with her.

He believes that bad communication is not listening to Sydney, so he wants to express that he has been paying attention to her and that he has been listening.

One of my favorite bits of tickles is the playing with fear. So so scared of the big mean Ler, and then they tickle you to pieces and you laugh and you’re Safe.

It’s even more fun if you get to run away at some point, and then are threatened with More Tickles.

All the adrenaline builds up and you get So Much More sensitive, and the fear breaks down any inhibitions, you just squeal and shriek with every new tickle.

Even more, if you’re playing with safe words, so you can say plenty of ‘no not there!’ ‘I can’t handle it!’ ‘It tickles too much!’ ‘Please, it tickles!’ As you desperately try to squirm away, but the Ler just smirks mercilessly and laughs at your cute desperation.

Just let me beg, and run, and squirm, and make me all afraid of just little ticklies~ And then Definitely tease about how you’re barely even doing anything.

Isn’t just crazy to think about how Kagome drove Inuyasha absolutely nuts in the beginning and he “hated” her and “tried” to specifically hate her smile too?

The smile that literally makes his heart skip a beat is the same smile that becomes the pinnacle of Inuyasha’s success in overcoming darkness.

When he said he felt relieved to see her smile, he meant it. Little did he know however, the relief he felt at her seeing her smile manifested itself into hope. Hope that she was ok, but it also meant that he was too; in many instances.
