Lucy slumped bonelessly in the shade of a Nuka-Cola machine. Her fingers dragged lazy circles in Dogmeat 's fur. A clatter of metal drew her attention. The Ghoul heaved a hunk of debris to the side. He toed around in the dirt, then cursed and kicked a tire.

From the look of things, the Ghoul was midway through his own internal reckoning.
