yesterday the idea crossed my mind again, and i had the opportunity to shout it at the void that is a discord server, but the void suddenly shouted back at me and oh boy did things move fast after that…

so anyways i couldn’t contain myself anymore and decided to draw that jimmy lookalike i was talking about

y’all know that thing that happens when you see an amazing artist and proceed to absorb their knowledge through osmosis when looking at their drawings¿

oh and his name is calvin btw, i was having trouble naming this guy but i had this lightbulb moment when being reminded that jimmy was named after a song, so i went through my mouthwashing playlist and picked one that mentioned a name that i liked

i could yap a lot more about why i really like this name and the implications it has in this pseudo au, but ehh

next step was curly ofc and oh my god i cannot stop drawing that stupid blonde man it’s like a disease, and every time i drew him he looked different BUT I FIGURED IT OUT

So uhm. I just. Lile right now realized that it has in fact not been clear that one of the biggest elements of Sol’s desgin is that his eyes are always closed

I thought it was obvious but now that you’ve pointed out that you did not know I realize how much it just looks like his eyes are covered because of how it meshes with the shade I gave him ….

So Uh. Sol’s eyes being closed was intended to have always been a thing. But I did not make it very clear it seems. I feel a lil dumb because of that

ANYWAY you’re right about the symbolism but there’s actually a secondary logical reason? Sol being the compressed embodiment of a god inhabiting a hollow puppet form has a lot of condensed power which manifests as being literally full of light to the point that he glows slightly THROUGH the wood and if he opens his eyes he turns into a light house. so he just doesn’t open them

I can’t believe I didn’t notice this. Uh. Anyway

So I’ve never mentioned this but I make decorative masks as I hobby? I’m not great at it yet but I thought the occasion warranted it, and by occasion I mean that I have 100 followers! I’ve gotten to 100 and over on other platforms plenty of times, but this feels different, I’ve been putting a lot of my soul (pun intended) into this account and into Marzenie and it’s brought me so much joy, it isn’t just that I got to the big number but also just how many of those usernames I recognize, how many of them appear almost every day in my notifications and how many of them are people that I followed first because I thought they were cool

As promised, I brought my take on Trojan war Polites but it turned out a bit uhhhhhh dark. Blood tw and generally sad things, enjoy! *goes to bawl my eyes out in a corner*

I had the idea that as a child/teen Polites really loved animals and their death made him sad, but Odysseus and Eurylochus often went hunting so he accompanied them, not really thrilled about it

Since Ody said it's alright to hunt, Polites changed his mindset with time,, it kind of stuck with him during the war; while fighting humans he would see birds instead just to block out the reality that horrified him

(I tried to make him look a bit younger here than usual)

Probably he would have nightmares about it, now with actual birds (?)

And despite being sick and tired himself, Polites would still take care of others, especially Perimedes (idk in my headcanons he is the youngest one since we don't have any official ages ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(•-•)⁠_⁠/⁠¯)

Also a version with glasses! Idk why the one above seemed more natural, but I just can't leave him without them :'D

TCs there for both cars AND the humans though. Starscream would go to the Hangar version, because he wouldn't fuck a car BUT I think he'd fuck a plane.

Sideswipe is banned. Nobody has told Megatron about it but you can bet he'd be there if he knew.

Somewhere out there, in the vast multiverse theres a universe where the Scavengers star in their own TV show and I fully believe that there's an episode where they all go to a car dealership and shenanigans ensue. Misfire falls in love with a car there.

Originally the comic was going to end with Rumble and Frenzy going inside the dealership on another night (can't exactly go when there's obviously Autobots around...) only to get surprised by the one and only Optimus Prime, but then i was like. i don't actually think he'd go to one of these. (unless someone convinced him that itd be improving human-Cybertronian relations maybe sgfjfbdjdb)

Honestly if it were a more organised thing that you can Go To, I reckon you can probably add more bots to the "would they fuck a car" roster. I could list them but i'm gonna sleep actually. YOU guys can tell ME who you think would go to the dealership-slash-brothel but wouldn't go fuck a car off the street fhdmfbdmfbk
