To add further insult to injury, Celebrity Manhunt had already seemingly set up a plot arc he could have followed. Imagine, DJ struggling with the fact that he and his Momma are national pariahs with nothing but the clothes on their backs and a tour bus, and then they lose the tour bus! But now DJ’s back on the show, back on the grind for a cool million, and he has a chance to pull himself and Momma from the brink of absolute poverty… but he’s going to have to get comfortable with the possibility of getting ruthless if he wants to make it to the top. Done poorly it might be derivative of his Action “illegal alliance” arc, but done right it could be really compelling stuff. Instead we got a joke that ran out its welcome very quickly…

I’ve been thinking about DJ lately and man, World Tour did him so dirty. Reducing him to a gag character involving him hurting animals/getting hurt by animals is so shitty. It’s not even funny.
