fun ways to move your body
there are so many reasons why people dislike exercising. some may include physical limitations, social and cultural factors, nausea, and even gym intimidation.
it is important to move though! moving your body is essential for maintaining good health and overall well-being. exercise strengthens muscles, improves cardiovascular health, and enhances flexibility.
it releases endorphins, which boosts mood and reduces stress and anxiety. group activities or sports provide opportunities to connect with others.
finding enjoyable activities and seeking support can make a significant difference!
so, here are some fun ways to move your body:
play around, just like a kid. try hula hoops, obstacle courses, or a game of tag! it's such a wholesome way to move your body and can be so enjoyable.
laughing is a fantastic stress reliever that engages your entire body. it lowers blood pressure and boosts immunity. remember not to overlook good times, or the giggles.
blast your favourite songs and have yourself a solo dance party. personally, i believe this is the single best way to move. it's freeing. dancing is mostly gentle on the body, yet it's still able to engage all your muscles, enhancing strength and balance.
attend group fitness classes like zumba, yoga, or spin. the energy and camaraderie can make exercise feel less like a chore.
take your workout outdoors! hike, bike, or jog in a scenic park or nature reserve. the change of scenery makes it more enjoyable.
still struggling with ideas?
play at the beach
archery
paddleboarding
go for a walk around your neighborhood (walk and talk)
play with your siblings, or pets
follow a yoga video!
set up a challenge for yourself
learn how to use a foam roller
enjoy a long swim
outdoor sports (or indoor i guess)
learn how to juggle (i challenge you guys to try this lmao)
attempt indoor rock climbing
be a tourist in your own city
engage in progressive muscle relaxation (pmr)
play a vr game
end notes:
making exercise more playful can add excitement and motivation. learn how to not take yourself too seriously, and have fun!
thank you for reading! ❤️ nene

Take care of yourself
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hey loves, we all know that I am a huge self care advocate. I have been loving myself real bad and one way to do it was through AROMATHERAPY.
So today let’s talk about it.
I have been looking into different ways to relax myself. From crystal baths to bedtime yoga, I am all ears to try anything. I started to read more about the Chinese Self healing method and through my research on the matter, I found out about aromatherapy!
So what is aromatherapy?
It is basically a holistic practice that uses essential oils to improve your overall well being. It is something that can be use with other practices such as meditation or visualization.
Here are few ways to do/use it
Through a diffuser: it will disperse the essential oil in your space making it easy to inhale and practice some inhalation exercises.
Through topical use: putting essential oil into body oil for either your skincare or massages.
Through your bath: adding drops of essential oils into your bath creates an aroma therapeutic experience. This is a chef kiss experience trust me!
Through compress: you basically use warm or cold compress infused with essential oils to release pain or to relax.
Because i love you guys, here is a list of essential oils and their use:
Lavender: Calming, sleep aid, relieves anxiety.
Peppermint: Energizing, eases headaches, aids digestion.
Eucalyptus: Clears congestion, antimicrobial.
Tea Tree: Antiseptic, combats acne, supports immunity.
Chamomile: Reduces stress, promotes relaxation.
Lemon: Uplifting, cleansing, boosts focus.
But my personal favourite is vanilla, its warm scent uplifts your mood and has great comforting properties.
I hope you give aromatherapy a try and discover more way to love yourself! There is so many thing we can do to improve our selves and i just want to be the prettiest and healthiest version of myself and i can feel I’m aligning there.
On that note, let’s prepare for this week with a lot of peace in our heart!

FIVE STAGES OF FASTING:
- the process of fasting begins about 8 hours after your last meal, and has five different stages each with different benefits. I am by no means an expert, and am using various sources to piece this together; with that being said, if I get something wrong please feel free to correct me.
Tumblr media
STAGE ONE:
- 8-12 hours after last meal. - blood sugar/glucose levels begins to dip; you may experience hunger, fatigue, food cravings, and trouble concentrating. - at around 12 hours, blood sugar levels begin to stabilize as your body starts tapping into stored glycogen. - also around 12 hours, your body begins to enter early stages of ketosis meaning your body isn't relying on carbohydrates for fuel and instead begins to burn stored fat. - short-term fasting may also lower blood pressure and increase insulin sensitivity.
Tumblr media
STAGE TWO:
- 12-18 hours after last meal. - by now, your body should be fully in ketosis. your liver should begin converting stored fat into ketone bodies; these provide energy to your heart, brain, and muscles. - ketones suppress your appetite; this stage of fasting decreases ghrelin, the hormone that makes you want to eat a lot of food and stabilizes insulin levels which helps to reduce cravings. - you may notice an increase in mental clarity in this stage due to a boost in brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF).
Tumblr media
STAGE THREE:
- 24 hours after last meal. - this stage is referred to as autophagy, or "self-eating." this stage is when your body begins recycling old or damaged cells and reducing inflammation; this can provide an anti-aging effect.
Tumblr media
STAGE FOUR:
- 36-48 hours after last meal. - 48-hour fasting can increase human growth hormone (HGH) secretion by up to 400%. HGH increases muscle mass, stimulates faster muscle repair, and can speed up the healing process for wounds and more serious injuries. - this stage is no longer considered intermittent fasting.
Tumblr media
STAGE FIVE:
- 72+ hours after last meal. - this stage of fasting should not be taken lightly; if fasting for several days, make sure you drink plenty of water, get plenty of electrolytes such as sodium, magnesium, and potassium. - by now, you should be in a deep state of ketosis and autophagy should be in full effect. - during this stage, your liver significantly reduces the production of a hormone called IGF-1, triggering stem cell production. - a study from 2014 found that prolonged fasts between 48-120 hours activate pathways that induce stem cell production, leading to cellular toxin resistance, immune system regulation, and protection against cellular damage caused by chemotherapy.
Tumblr media
FASTING TIPS:
- regardless of the length of fast, stay hydrated. - keep physical activity to a minimum, or only do light exercises. walking, stretching/yoga, and meditating are great options during this time. - do not break your fast with large amounts of food, or processed foods. easily digestible natural foods, like bone broth, chicken, and green vegetables are your best option. avoid things like dairy, alcohol, and foods high in lectin like baked goods for the first couple days after your fast ends. - when breaking your fast, eat slowly and hydrate before eating. the less junk food your body is used to, the easier it is. - adding probiotics into your diet can make breaking a fast easier; your body needs these either way.

Supplements and Nutrient Boosts Make sure you don't lose out on your essential vitamins, those are crucial for your physical and mental health - for example, some help get rid of brain fog, insomnia and/or trouble staying asleep **and you'll feel more energized which means you'll be able to move around more!** + workouts! (You don't want your muscles to hurt when you're working out.)
Multivitamin: Covers daily nutritional gaps, including essential vitamins and minerals.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids: supports heart health and reduces inflammation.
Vitamin D3: vital for bone health and immune function.
Magnesium Supplement: supports muscle function and prevents cramps. (it also helps with period cramps!)
Calcium Supplement: crucial for bone health and muscle function. MUST have optimal levels of calcium at all times, trust me, hypocalcemia is no fun.
Probiotics: aids digestion and gut health.
B-Complex Vitamins: supports energy metabolism. **no, calories in pills DON'T COUNT.**
Workout Routine
Focus Areas: Building Muscle, Slimming Tummy, Burning Fat
1. Strength Training (3-4 times a week):
Deadlifts (3 sets of 8-10 reps): Full-body strength, focuses on legs, back, and core.
Squats (3 sets of 12-15 reps): Targets legs and glutes, helps build lower body strength.
Lunges (3 sets of 12-15 reps per leg): Engages glutes, hamstrings, and quads.
Push-Ups (3 sets of 10-12 reps): Strengthens chest, shoulders, and triceps.
Plank (3 sets, hold for 30-60 seconds): Core exercise that also engages shoulders and glutes.

4. Flexibility and Recovery (2-3 times a week):
Yoga or Stretching: 20-30 minutes of flexibility exercises to enhance recovery and prevent injury.
Total Daily Calories
Average Calorie Intake: ~900-1200 calories This range is low, so it’s very important to monitor how your body responds and adjust as needed to avoid negative health effects.
Important Reminders:
Listen to Your Body: Regardless of what's promoted in the community, or how quickly you see others reacing their GW's, always prioritize your health over rapid results. If you feel fatigued, dizzy, or unwell, it’s essential to reassess your calorie intake or exercise intensity.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated, aid digestion, and support overall metabolism. (no, energy drinks and coffee doesn't count)
Rest and Sleep: Ensure you’re getting 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night to support recovery and overall well-being.
Self-Compassion: Remember that progress takes time. Be kind to yourself and celebrate every small victory along the way. You don't just become the butterfly overnight. Turn it into a lifestyle, rather than a fast road.
BONUS: How to get through a plateau Hitting a weight loss plateau can be frustrating and discouraging, but it's a common part of the journey. Here’s how to overcome it: 1. Reassess Your Calorie Intake
Track Your Calories: Double-check your food portions and calorie counts. As you lose weight, your body needs fewer calories, so what worked before might need adjusting.
Create a Small Calorie Deficit: If you’ve been consistent with your calorie intake, consider reducing it slightly—by about 100-200 calories per day. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Metabolism Days!!!
Prevent Metabolic Adaptation: When you're on a calorie deficit for an extended period, your body can adapt by slowing down your metabolism. Metab days help to "trick" your body into thinking it's getting enough fuel, which can prevent or reverse this slowdown.
Boost Hormones: Eating more can temporarily boost levels of leptin, a hormone that plays a key role in regulating hunger and metabolism. Higher leptin levels can help increase energy expenditure.
Mental Break: It provides a psychological break from restrictive eating, making it easier to stick to your overall diet plan.
How to Implement Metab Days
Increase Calories: On metab days, you increase your calorie intake to maintenance level or slightly above. This can be an increase of 300-500 calories depending on your usual intake.
Focus on Carbohydrates: Many people use metab days to increase their carbohydrate intake because carbs can have a more significant impact on leptin levels. This might include adding foods like whole grains, starchy vegetables, and fruits.
Frequency: Metab days can be done once a week or once every two weeks, depending on your dieting strategy and how long you’ve been in a calorie deficit.
Stay Active: Continue with your regular exercise routine, as this will help ensure the extra calories are used effectively and support muscle growth and recovery.
Example of a Metab Day Plan
Breakfast: Whole-grain pancakes with fruit and a dollop of Greek yogurt.
Snack: A smoothie made with banana, oats, and almond milk.
Lunch: Grilled chicken wrap with avocado, lettuce, and a side of sweet potato fries.
Snack: Handful of nuts and a piece of fruit.
Dinner: Salmon with quinoa and roasted vegetables.
Dessert: A small portion of dark chocolate or a fruit salad.
Benefits
Prevents Plateaus: By occasionally boosting your calorie intake, you help keep your metabolism more active, which can prevent weight loss plateaus.
Improves Energy Levels: A day with more food can help restore energy levels, making it easier to maintain high-intensity workouts.
Supports Mental Health: It provides a mental break from constant restriction, which can improve adherence to your diet in the long term.
Caution
Avoid Overeating: The goal is to eat more than on a typical day, but not to binge. Keep the increase controlled and within a reasonable range.
Monitor Progress: Track how your body responds to metab days. If you notice consistent weight gain, you may need to adjust the frequency or calorie increase.
Metab days can be a useful tool in a structured weight loss or fitness plan, helping to maintain a healthy metabolism and support long-term success. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2. Shake Up Your Workout Routine
Increase Intensity: Push yourself a bit harder in your workouts. Try adding more weight to strength training or increasing the speed/intensity of your cardio.
Incorporate HIIT: High-Intensity Interval Training is effective for breaking plateaus. Short bursts of intense exercise followed by rest can boost your metabolism.
Change the Type of Exercise: If you’ve been doing the same workouts for a while, your body may have adapted. Try a new activity like swimming, boxing, or cycling to challenge different muscle groups.
3. Prioritize Strength Training
Build More Muscle: Muscle burns more calories at rest than fat, so incorporating more strength training can help rev up your metabolism. Focus on compound movements like squats, deadlifts, and bench presses.
4. Revise Your Macros
Adjust Protein Intake: Ensure you’re getting enough protein, as it helps preserve muscle mass while you lose fat. Consider increasing protein slightly while reducing carbs or fats.
Consider Carb Cycling: This involves varying your carbohydrate intake on different days—higher carbs on workout days and lower carbs on rest days.
5. Manage Stress Levels
Stress and Cortisol: High stress can increase cortisol, which may lead to weight gain or hinder weight loss. Incorporate stress-reducing activities like yoga, meditation, or even simple deep-breathing exercises.
Adequate Sleep: Lack of sleep can affect hunger hormones and lead to weight gain. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep per night.
6. Hydrate Properly
Drink More Water: Sometimes, the body retains water, which can mask fat loss. Drinking more water helps reduce water retention and supports metabolic processes.
7. Cycle Your Caloric Intake
Calorie Cycling: Vary your calorie intake throughout the week. For example, eat at maintenance level (or slightly above) for a couple of days and then go back to a deficit. This can prevent your metabolism from adapting too much to a low-calorie diet.
8. Mind Your Eating Habits
Avoid Mindless Eating: Be mindful of snacks and portion sizes. It’s easy to consume extra calories without realizing it.
Intermittent Fasting: Consider trying intermittent fasting, where you eat all your meals within a specific time window (e.g., 8 hours). This can help control calorie intake and improve insulin sensitivity.
9. Evaluate Your Overall Health
Check Hormonal Balance: Hormonal issues like thyroid dysfunction can contribute to a plateau. If you suspect a problem, consult with a healthcare provider.
Check for reproductive issues - such as PCOS (can make you gain weight easier and/or have a hard time losing weight)
Consider Metabolism Testing: Some fitness centers or health clinics offer metabolism testing, which can give you insight into how many calories you should be consuming.
10. Stay Patient and Persistent
Reframe the Plateau: Understand that a plateau is your body’s way of adjusting to new changes. It’s a sign that you might need to mix things up but doesn’t mean your progress has stopped permanently.
Track Non-Scale Victories: Pay attention to how your clothes fit, your energy levels, and your body measurements. Progress can be happening in ways other than the scale.
11. Consider a Break
Diet Break: Taking a break from a strict calorie deficit for a week or two (eating at maintenance) can reset your metabolism and reduce stress, making it easier to resume weight loss afterward.
12. Stay Consistent
Stick to Your Plan: Even if the scale isn’t moving, staying consistent with healthy eating and exercise is crucial. Over time, the plateau will likely break.
Remember, patience and consistency are key. Weight loss plateaus are normal, and with the right adjustments, you can push through and continue progressing toward your goals. This isn't talked about enough here, and if this helped anyone, then it's what makes me the happiest. You don't have to make yourself get sicker, just to feel valid. Remember, being healthy and having your vitamins in check is most important, as your energy levels will be optimized. More energy -> more moving around -> more calories burnt!

Seventh Body - The Auric Body
In the teachings of Kundalini Yoga, the human being has 10
bodies, not 1. Each body has its own attributes, and the 7th body is the Auric Body.
Seventh Body: Auric Body
The aura is the electromagnetic field that surrounds your body; it contains, projects, and interacts with the energetic life force, it usually extends three to nine feet beyond the physical body.
Qualities: Mercy, security, love, celestial charisma.
Key phrase: “Platform of Elevation”
Mastery: Projects positivity and repels negativity, like a shield; illness cannot penetrate your physical body; radiates magnetic security and an inspiring, merciful presence
If weak: constrictive, paranoid, lack of self-trust; negativity can penetrate into the psyche and physical body; there may be a tendency to conform to please others by overexpressing yourself
Key to Balancing Auric Body: practice meditation, pranayama, vigorous yoga, and martial arts. Wearing white clothing made of natural fibers gives about a 12-inch boost to the aura. Work on the Eighth Chakra. A strong auric body sustains the health of the pranic body. And it is the health of the pranic body that allows the auric body to emanate out as a magnificent force field to be reckoned with. The two together keep our physical body and immune system strong and allow us to walk and work fearlessly as who we are. Be mindful of the positive effects of water, internally and externally.
Each of the ten bodies relates specifically to the qualities of one of the ten Sikh gurus.
Guru Har Rai the seventh Sikh Guru. Read and study the life of Guru Har Rai Sing out loud, often, and joyfully. Elevate others with your singing. Wear white clothing made of natural fibers. A question to ask the Seventh Body? Do I allow myself to elevate myself and others?
FEELING In a challenging position, this may manifest as a person with low self-esteem. They may feel that shine comes from outward appearance rather than from within. They may also feel that people expect them to be more independent and nurturing and that they have to live up to their expectations.
Threatened by other’s energy or situations, overwhelmed by other’s energy, not true to own principles, has “Thin skin” can be Isolating, not able to uplift oneself, have weak boundaries, lays awake trying to fix loved ones and overwhelmed with all negative aspects of their life.
The inner desire is to be oneself, regardless of anyone’s expectations.
In a strong position, this will manifest as an intelligent person, a wise person. They are independent. They like to read, and they like music. This may represent a nun or priest living in seclusion. This is someone who has obtained intense knowledge through many lifetimes. They also have learned to uplift themselves, and they can be good teachers and very good parents because their presence uplifts environments and circumstances. They can work in relative seclusion, i.e. a scientist in a laboratory, a park ranger in the forest, a priest, or a nun.
They may seek financial security, a platform of elevation, security, mercy self-contained, secure, like to sing, uplifting to self and others, elevates themselves with ease, self-contained, and has strong boundaries.
The seventh body is the auric body, which is the electromagnetic field that surrounds a person. Most children are able to see auras at a very early age between 2 and 4. After that, the pituitary gland changes and this makes it more difficult to see them. You can do certain meditations to develop this quality.
A regular aura can be somewhere between three and nine feet. Between three and seven is the most common. A nine-inch aura is rare. Wearing white clothes increases the aura by 12 inches.
People with strong auras can be very uplifting to be with. They put you in that state too, it’s contagious.
There are many benefits of a strong aura. The person is surrounded by this electromagnetic field that protects him/her and gives them projection. Auras are nurturing, compassionate, charismatic, and human forklifts”. That’s why the key phrase is “platform of elevation”.
Meditation Meditation for the Aura. Sit in an easy pose and place your hands on your knees. Now concentrate on the space around your body, the electromagnetic field. Feel it getting bigger. The following affirmations should be repeated, keeping the focus on the electromagnetic field: I AM LIGHT. I AM STRONG. I AM BRIGHT. I AM BEAUTIFUL. I AM KIND. WHA HE GURU. Repeat 7 times
Aura: Electromagnetic field around the body. It protects us as well as helps us project from the heart.

Hormones are powerful chemical messengers produced by glands in the endocrine system. They travel through the bloodstream, regulating various bodily functions such as growth, metabolism, reproduction, and mood. Hormones play a significant role in maintaining balance in the body, known as homeostasis, and any imbalance can affect your mental and physical well-being.
How Hormones Work
Production: Hormones are secreted by glands like the thyroid, adrenal glands, pancreas, and ovaries/testes.
Transport: Once produced, hormones travel through the bloodstream to target cells or organs.
Receptors: Hormones bind to specific receptors on cells, triggering a response. This can involve altering cell activity, gene expression, or initiating a cascade of processes.
Feedback Mechanism: The body monitors hormone levels using feedback loops. For example, if a hormone level is too high or low, the body adjusts production to maintain balance.
Key Hormones and Their Functions
Cortisol: Stress hormone; regulates metabolism, immune response, and energy.
Serotonin and Dopamine: Mood and happiness regulators; linked to emotional well-being.
Insulin: Manages blood sugar levels.
Estrogen and Testosterone: Sexual health, energy, and bone strength.

How to Support Hormonal Health
To feel better mentally and physically, it’s essential to maintain hormonal balance. Here are strategies to care for your hormones:
1. Nutrition
Balanced Diet: Eat whole, unprocessed foods rich in nutrients.
Healthy Fats: Avocados, nuts, seeds, and omega-3s (from fish) support hormone production.
Complex Carbs: Whole grains and vegetables regulate insulin levels.
Protein: Essential for hormone production; include lean meats, beans, and tofu.
Avoid Excess Sugar and Refined Carbs: These can cause insulin spikes and crashes.
Hydration: Proper hydration supports cellular communication and detoxification.
2. Sleep
7-9 Hours of Quality Sleep: Hormone regulation (like melatonin and growth hormone) occurs during deep sleep.
Consistency: Go to bed and wake up at the same time daily.
Limit Screen Time Before Bed: Blue light can suppress melatonin.
3. Stress Management
Mindfulness Practices: Meditation, yoga, and deep breathing reduce cortisol levels.
Physical Activity: Exercise releases endorphins, improving mood and balancing stress hormones.
Journaling or Therapy: Helps process emotions, reducing chronic stress.
4. Exercise
Moderation: Both too much and too little exercise can disrupt hormones. Aim for 30 minutes of moderate activity most days.
Strength Training: Boosts testosterone and growth hormone.
Cardio: Supports circulation and reduces stress.
5. Avoid Endocrine Disruptors
Limit Toxins: Avoid products with BPA, phthalates, and parabens (found in plastics and cosmetics).
Clean Water: Use filtered water to avoid contaminants.
Organic Foods: Reduce pesticide exposure, which can disrupt hormones.
6. Maintain a Healthy Weight
Excess body fat can increase estrogen levels, while too little fat can disrupt reproductive hormones.
7. Regular Medical Check-Ups
Hormone Testing: Regular blood tests can identify imbalances early.
Thyroid and Reproductive Health: Monitor specific hormones like TSH, estrogen, and testosterone as needed.
8. Natural Supplements (Consult a Professional First)
Vitamin D: Supports mood and immune function.
Magnesium: Regulates stress and supports sleep.
Adaptogens: Herbs like ashwagandha and maca root can balance stress hormones.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Reduce inflammation and support brain health.
Signs of Hormonal Imbalance
If you're experiencing persistent symptoms, consider consulting a healthcare provider:
Fatigue
Mood swings or anxiety
Unexplained weight changes
Irregular periods
Sleep disturbances
Low libido

Conclusion
Hormonal health is essential for overall well-being. By prioritizing proper nutrition, stress management, exercise, and regular medical care, you can support your endocrine system and feel better both mentally and physically.

Moving Meditation Motivations Discovering the Right Focus Technique
There are some people who can sit through meditation while other individuals simply cannot. During a passive meditation they find themselves fidgeting and unable to focus. This leads to further frustrations, and an unwillingness to try any sort of meditation again.
The advice most people hear is to try again or that they were not doing it right. Well, guess what? There are other ways to possibly reach a meditative state of mind when your body is in motion. Moving meditation, if done accurately can give a person the same benefits as passive meditation where one sits.
How to Choose Your Activity
It should be something that engages you and holds your focus for an extended period roughly anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes a day. To gain a better meditative state one must do something that is continuous, fluid, methodical, and repetitive so that the movements become more automatic in time.
For example, a walk in the park at a steady pace putting your attention on your breath, and taking in the sights that surround you such as:
how the sun feels on your skin
the clouds overhead
if there is a wind breeze
examining the trees and their own leaves
It's all about the state of mind you're able to achieve being one of mindfulness, of living in the moment, of relaxed awareness.
Other Suggestions
Walk a Labyrinth: One walks clockwise in a circle or in a particular pattern towards the center of a destination point. It should not be like a maze where you find yourself frustrated towards the end, but choosing a pattern that fits you and your needs.
Qigong: This is a 5,000-year-old Chinese health exercise technique. Its goal is to synchronize the breath with the mind's intentions. One moves with flow and grace as they further learn this skill.  A regular practice can lower your blood pressure and boost your immunity, flexibility, and circulation.
Example:
1. Relax your body, imagining that your feet are sinking deep into the earth. Your hands are in front of your lower belly, palms facing each other, forming a ball of energy.
2. Inhale. Open your arms to the sides as if to expand the ball, while raising your arms, to shoulder height.
3. At shoulder level, turn the thumbs back and the palms up and exhale, releasing any tension from your body as you drop and relax your shoulders, elbows, and hands.
4. Inhale, as you raise your arms up over your head.
5. Palms facing down, deeply exhale as you lower them, “showering” the body with cleansing, revitalizing energy. Repeat three times.
Yoga Exercises: There are several different methods of yoga, some having religious dogma attached while others focus primarily on the exercises themselves. Everyone has different preferences, but if you are looking to simply relax and reach a meditative state then I suggest trying out the exercises themselves. This is a practice to connect the body and mind into one.
Tai Chi:  Short for Tai ji quan, or T'ai chi ch'üan, is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training, its health benefits and meditation. The term Taiji refers to a philosophy of the forces of yin and yang.
Karate Katas:  A practice of detailed patterns of movements either solo or in pairs. Karate kata are executed as a specified series of a variety of moves, with stepping and turning, while attempting to maintain perfect form.
Art: painting, drawing, etc.
Crafts: knitting, crocheting, paper folding, weaving, anything rhythmic.
Exercise: stationary bike, weightlifting, elliptical machine, step climbing, sports, etc.
Playing a game that has a repeating theme and is not too difficult that one can get into.
Music: focusing on the song's rhythm, beats, and possibly lyrics. Pick something that reached out to you as an individual.

The pandemic revealed a major blind spot in healthcare: we focused on vaccines and external solutions but largely ignored nutrition—the foundation of a strong immune system.
Whether or not you chose/choose to vaccinate, the truth remains: immunity is built from the inside out. A robust immune system is your body’s frontline defense, and it needs proper care to thrive. This is that much more applicable if you have any kind of health imbalance or disease.
Here are 5 ways to strengthen it:
🥗 Eat Whole Foods: Focus on colorful veggies, fruits, lean proteins, & healthy fats.
💊 Support Gut Health: Load up on fiber, fermented foods, pre & probiotics.
😴 Prioritize Sleep: 7–9 hours nightly helps repair your body.
🏃‍♀️ Move Daily: Moderate exercise reduces inflammation & boosts immunity.
🧘‍♀️ Manage Stress: Incorporate mindfulness, yoga, journaling, or meditation.
Imagine if we had prioritized these tools during the pandemic. Let’s not wait for the next crisis to take control of our health.
