I've been a bit sick lately (stomach issues) so I've really been queue operated on my main account and doing both deity work and as well as following instructions from my doctor.
The deities through channeling literally told me to stop eating too overly sweet or salty "junk". To lay off caffeine and drink green tea, black tea, ginger tea and chamomile with arnica at night (those teas help with pain, inflammation, ginger tea is great for upset stomach and nausea, and help soothe). To use hot compresses on my stomach, give my stomach massages etc...
Completely forbidden eating fried anything (I weep. As a Latina most of my recipes involve frying... and spices which I've also been forbidden from 😭)
Then there's the constant reminders to take my meds. Right now I feel a tingle in my ears like someone is yelling at me but I can't physically hear them which only means one thing... its close to one of my pill times...
Also I need to lay off the Tums cos it's apparently causing my stomach to be irritated from using it too much. ☹️
Anyways here's a pic of Sadako taking care of a baby in one of my games 💓

"Shen Jiu looks like/is an incarnation of Shen Yuan's older brother" But have you considered his da-ge could be Mobei Jun. have you considered this little sassy nerd boy only got this far bc of his 6'5" jacked up frigid bastard of an older brother who was loyal to a fault. have you considered SQH once saw this man across the room and never stopped thinking about him, leading to PIDW existing. Prompt 136
There is a small child floating in the Watchtower.
They’re visibly not human, a too-big cloak of purple (what shade no one knows, all they can describe about the cloak is purple, nothing else) hanging from them as big Lazarus-green eyes glare down in something of a pout. The child huffs, blowing white hair out of their face despite it shimmering and shifting on its own already.
How the child, inhuman or not, found their way into the Watchtower- without setting off an alarm no less- is a concern. A very large concern, but it can wait because there is a four-year old (if the child is the equivalent of a human child that is) at oldest staring down at them.
“Do you know where the speedsters are?” the child piped up after an awkward stare-down, none of the league members present quite sure what to do in this situation. It was probably around time to call Batman… or they could call Flash instead.

A new study links drinking green tea with having fewer white matter lesions in the brains of Japanese seniors, potentially providing a level of protection against dementia. Researchers from institutions across Japan teamed up to analyse data on 8,766 volunteers over the age of 65, collected as part of a survey conducted between 2016 and 2018. Self-reported green tea and coffee consumption was cross-referenced against magnetic resonance imaging ( MRI) brain scans, which measured overall brain volume and features of five different brain regions. "This cross-sectional study found a significant association between lower cerebral white matter lesions and higher green tea consumption, but not coffee consumption, in older adults without dementia, even after adjusting for confounding factors," write the researchers in their published paper.

SVSSS is a novel with a fandom.
[ID: A Scum Villain edit of the "missing the point" meme. A bullet arcs from velinxi art of child Shen Jiu kneeling while furiously glaring. The bullet says, "People are not entirely one thing or the other and holding them to these extremes ignores the complexities that come with their humanity." It arcs over the head of a person across from it, who ignores the bullet and exclaims: "Wow!! Shen Jiu's only crime was being mean and was wrongly hated!" End ID]

HERBS for Digestive Health🌿
To help improve and ease digestive disorders and issues.
Ginger
widely used to treat nausea, bloating and soothe digestive issues
Turmeric

Chamomile

Fennel

Minthara is honorary Southeast Asian Auntie in my eyes
Shortest one in the group and always stands on boxes/stairs for better view
The way she roasts people by simply stating her observations in a deadpan manner
Will protect if outsiders bully you, but that doesn't mean her roasts end though
Calls people names in her mother's tongue so they don't understand
Will do and say everything else under the sun to show that she loves you, except saying "I love you" (because she was never taught such phrase growing up)
Bothered by the sun, checks a few times a day for blemishes
Complains food outside of home is bland (probably along the line of "This soup is so bland I can wash the bowls with it.")
Insults others by comparing them to dogs
Stands like an immobile log (🧍‍♀️) when hugged, if you're lucky you get an awkward pat on the back
Will happily instigate violence by snitching
Simply does NOT like the little rascals/urchins running around, especially near her
Indirectly, but in a forward way, proposes to someone after first date by asking them to go to her hometown with her
Microdosing partner with purple shrimp paste poison, otherwise they won't survive the trip in her hometown
Will pet and spoil the dog/cat when nobody is looking
Raised by a tiger mom
Has an impeccable garden full of questionable plants
You do NOT want to be on the receiving end of her flying chancla/flip flop
Bonus: loves Ulaver wine (drow green wine: alcoholic beverage fermented with vegetation and fungus of the Underdark). And here's the Vietnamese fermented green mushroom wine (rượu nấm lim xanh)

24.09.2023 // All I need to make a study session good (or at the very least bearable) is some good music, a coffee and a calming environment (ideally a cafe or library). I've been trying to get through some haematology revision, which I'm really enjoying even though it's really complicated.

This has been me for the past few days…..lts so dry man and ive got a terrible cold, and we are out of Sudafed.
Fun fact though, basically none of the cold medicines we use today existed in the 1910s outside of home remedies you may have been given by your parents like warm broth soup, fruit juice, a warm towel on your head, tea, and honey water for a sore throat. The only medicine that we use today for common cold symptoms that existed and were readily useable then then were asprin and Vicks Vaporub (which that has a super sweet story behind it look it up!).
(Following is a list of active ingredients in brand name over the counter medicines used today. Many use the same chemicals but in different amounts)
Dextromethorphan? 1954
Fluticasone propionate? 1980.
acetaminophen? Existed but not widely available until the 1950s. You could really only get it from hospitals.
Ibuprophine? 1961.
phenylephrine? 1927.
pseudoephedrine? In herbal remedies in east asian cultures, but not on the market till 1920s for everyone else.
guaifenesin? Invented in 1912 but not available outside of prescription by a doctor unil 1952.
And very few effective non topical antibiotics existed until penicillin came around in 1928.
Everything else around was either a herbal remedies based on culture like peppermint tea and cinnamon sweets, or were “patent medicines” aka the actual snake oil and poisons your conspiracy brained family member is convinced “big pharma” is REALLY putting in your advil (spoiler alert, its not. its just acetaminophen, binding agents, and color dye) + cocaine and heroine.
But there were electric stoves! And water is free so turning your house into a giant hot shower is now a viable option to clear them sinuses.
….be grateful for your modern meds kids. (Also alex summers debut in this au!)
