Been relaxing and watching movies as well as meditating and grounding myself frequently as per deity channelings.
Today I was somewhat "yelled" at by a male deity because I was "overworking myself".
I was about to pass out at the stove (I'm under a treatment that causes me intense fatigue but... I dont like being useless in the house) and I felt a familiar paternal voice actually shout giving me the words, "Sit down and ask for help! Don't do this on your own! Know your current limits or you'll never recover!"
So I listened. I rested and did a small channeling for self care advice.
Now I'm told for every half hour of "work" I need an hour of rest, consume things with less fats, more water, mint or chamomile teas with honey or (they told me to not drink any green tea for some reason), diet sugars, I was also directed to exercises for limb circulation too and my legs no longer feel numb...
I usually ignore these things and just note them in the back of my mind as my subconscious little reminders rather than the energy of my own deities reaching me.
Even though I've worked with deity worship for years, my previously purely scientific mind does rear its head and refuses to work in unison with my them. It's quite irritating because that can interfere with my readings once in awhile.
I'm certain I'm not the only one with this issue.
I was also sternly scolded about how dehydrated I am. I really got a dressing down like a child.
A medium that read energies to pictures told me last year that I had a powerful male deity healing me like a daughter. That she could see his large clawed oxyn black hand on my the shoulder of my painful side.
She, at the beginning because of the appearance, was terrified because it looked scary to her, but then she realized it was full of love and benevolence and that he saw me as his daughter.
I knew she was talking of Lord Anubis. Yes, I'm an eclectic polytheistic witch with blood connections to Egypt. I just don't really mention it because I don't really see a point of bringing it up.
Although Kemetic deities are open and seek out anyone regardless of your bloodlines, so if you ever hear them calling with signs, dreams etc... listen to them. They sought you out because they saw something in you that they can resonate with.
My Lord has been with me for years considering the work I do (I do some pretty heavy stuff). People see him as just death and embalming (and make cheesy horror movies about him. )when he's far more than that and he does indeed watch over his followers like his children. He can be a stern father as well, but he's always there.
Well enough ramblings. I feel refreshed. Watched an free movie (posted in my main account. Completely free YT movie cos I got tired of my streaming platforms just feeding me the same movies)
The movie was OK. Not what I was expecting but OK.
Now I'll do some incense offerings (maybe dragon's blood incense that no deity refuses or even just frankincense which is a fairly neutral incense that also works for all of them. I have a pantry on incenses 😂, but "neutral" ones are the best to stock up on)
Also got reminded five minutes before my alarm went off to do stretches and take my meds 🤣.

Friday the 13th: A Witch’s Guide to Magic and Mystery ๋࣭ ⭑
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Friday the 13th is almost here, and while many people associate this day with superstition or bad luck, in witchcraft, it’s a time of power and transformation. This day is deeply tied to sacred feminine energy, creativity, and rebirth, making it an ideal moment to honor your intuition and engage in meaningful rituals.
The Magic of Friday the 13th
Historically, Friday the 13th was far from unlucky, it was a day of celebration!
☆ Friday: Ruled by Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and creativity.
☆ The Number 13: Sacred to the Goddess, it symbolizes cycles, transformation, and spiritual awakening. There are 13 lunar cycles in a year, further connecting this number to divine feminine energy.
This day invites us to reclaim its magical energy, focusing on self-love, manifestation, and intuitive growth.
How to Work with Friday the 13th Energy
☆ Cleanse and Ground
Start your day with a cleansing ritual to clear away negative energy.
⟡ Tools: Use sage, rosemary, or a cleansing spray.
⟡ Intention: “I release all fears and superstitions, and welcome abundance, clarity, and love into my life.”
☆ Ritual for Manifestation and Creativity
With Venus’s influence, this is the perfect time to focus on love, beauty, and prosperity.
⟡ Tools: Green or pink candles, rose quartz, cinnamon, or basil.
⟡ Practice: Write down your desires, focusing on creativity or relationships, and burn the paper in a fire-safe dish to release them into the universe.
☆ Journaling and Reflection
Friday the 13th is a great time to honor cycles in your life.
⟡ Journal prompts:
What transformations have I undergone this year?
What do I need to release to step into my power?
Astrological Insights
This year’s Friday the 13th falls during Mars retrograde in Leo and Mercury retrograde, adding layers of introspection and reflection.
⟡ Mars Retrograde: Reflect on how you assert yourself and revisit creative projects.
⟡ Mercury Retrograde: Focus on revisiting old ideas, reconnecting with loved ones, and practicing patience in communication.
A Day of Empowerment
Friday the 13th reminds us that what’s seen as “unlucky” can be reclaimed as sacred and magical. It’s a day to break free from limiting beliefs, honor your inner power, and connect with the cycles of life.
✨ How do you celebrate Friday the 13th? Share your rituals and practices! I’d love to hear how you embrace its magic! 🌙

Types of Dream Work
Tumblr media
Dream Journaling: Keeping a dream journal is the foundation of dream work in witchcraft. It involves writing down your dreams as soon as you wake up, even if you can only remember a few details. This practice helps you remember your dreams more vividly, identify patterns or recurring themes, and develop a deeper understanding of your subconscious mind.
Lucid Dreaming: Lucid dreaming is the ability to become aware that you are dreaming and to control the dream. It can be used for manifestation, healing, and exploring your inner world. To practice lucid dreaming, you can use reality checks, set intentions before you go to sleep, and practice visualization techniques.
Astral Projection: Astral projection is the practice of leaving your physical body and traveling to different realms or dimensions. It can be used for spiritual exploration, connecting with spirit guides, or receiving messages from the universe. To practice astral projection, you can use meditation, visualization, among other journeying techniques. It's important to practice caution and preparation, and work with an experienced practitioner or teacher if possible.
Dream Incubation: Dream incubation is the practice of setting an intention before you go to sleep to dream about a specific topic or question. It can be used for divination, problem-solving, or spiritual exploration. To practice dream incubation, you can use visualization, affirmations, or ritual to set your intention.
Dream Interpretation: Dream interpretation is the process of analyzing the symbols and messages in your dreams to gain insight into your subconscious mind. It can be used for spiritual growth, self-awareness, and problem-solving. To practice dream interpretation, you can use books, online resources, or work with a dream interpreter or witch.
Dream Protection: Dream protection is the practice of protecting yourself from negative energies or entities that may enter your dreams. It can be used for spiritual protection, emotional healing, or to prevent nightmares. To practice dream protection, you can use visualization, affirmations, or protection spells or talismans.

Witchcraft Exercises - Witchy Inspo Journal
Not sure what to do with all those notebooks you’ve collected for future use in your craft? (Don’t lie, we all have a stack somewhere.) Turn them into inspo journals!
Create and maintain a journal where each page is a quote or song lyric or picture that inspires you in your craft or defines some element of your practice. Use scrapbooking materials, washi tape, stickers, stamps, and any art supplies you wish. If you’re skilled at drawing or painting, you can do that too.
The journal can be a simple notebook or a three-ring binder or a nice scrapbook from the craft store, whatever works for you. Try to do a page a week if you can, and collect ideas for future pages when you can’t. Update as often as you feel inspired to do so and enjoy some witchy art therapy.
This can also be turned into a devotional activity, with your inspo journal dedicated to your chosen deity(ies) or pantheon. A devotional inspo journal can also make a great private altar if you don’t have the space for one in your home or if you’re a stealth witch who can’t practice or venerate openly.
Here are some examples from my own inspo journal:

20 day challenge for beginners to witchcraft
⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆
***this challenge may be valuable to experienced witches who wish to brush up on their basics
there are a few things to understand before we begin:
⛥you will need a journal to record your findings each day. this can be physical or online. i recommend physical because you remember things better when you are writing them down, but either is fine.
⛥it is of utmost importance that you understand the difference between good sources and bad sources, and are able to locate the original source where your information is coming from
⛥ this challenge involves lots of self-guided research as well as applied practice so be prepared to put the work in
⛥this challenge will not teach you everything there is to know as a beginner, but i think it will be a good jumping off point.
⛥don't worry about it if you miss a day or take multiple days to complete one of the prompts. you can take this challenge at your own pace, or do it for 20 days straight. however, i do not recommend that you attempt multiple days activities in a single day. take it slow so you can dedicate the time to fully learning, and aren't overwhelmed.
⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆
okay! let's begin :D
**remember to write everything down in your journal!!!! dont worry about "getting things right" just try your best!!!
Day 1: Find 3 different spells (online, in a book, anywhere). Try to figure out why the creator decided to use the materials they chose. Why are certain colors, tools, or herbs being used in the spell, and what do they represent/mean? What symbolism is being used in the method/steps of the spell to represent attaining the desired effect?
Day 2: Research meditation. What cultures practice forms of meditation? What are some different types, techniques, and purposes of meditation? Why do witches use meditation in their practice? Attempt a basic meditation technique based on your findings. Meditate daily if you can for the strongest benefits.
Day 3: Find a plant or crystal. Try to feel for its energy. Write down what you sense. Research methods if you’re having trouble sensing energy. Once you feel you have everything you’re going to be able to sense from it written down, try to research current spiritual uses + historical folklore/mythology surrounding the plant/crystal. Does it match up to what you sensed? Are historical connotations important to you or do you feel your personal intuitive sense of it/personal experiences are more important to you? Or do you value them equally?
Day 4: Research grounding and centering. How are they performed? What purpose are they used for? Why do people find them important for spellwork? Attempt one or both.
Day 5: Research closed practices, cultural appropriation, and spiritual bypassing. What harm can they cause? Why is it important to avoid these things?
Day 6: Research self-love spells. What are they for? What are some ways people do them? Attempt to perform a self love spell.
Day 7: Research shielding and warding. What do they do? Why are they important? Attempt one or both.
Day 8: Research shadow work. What is it? Why do people find it important for practicing witchcraft? Does it seem like something you would benefit from? Why or why not? Find a shadow work journaling prompt that calls to you and journal freely about it.
Day 9: Research the moon phases. What intentions does each phase assist with? What does each phase represent? Think about the symbolism of waxing and waning. attracting and repelling.
Day 10: Journal freely about the following questions: Why do you feel drawn to practice witchcraft? Have you always felt connection to nature or to the spirit world? What do you think your practice will do for you or help you with?
Day 11: Research item enchantment. What that is, why someone would want to enchant an object and methods of doing so. Attempt to enchant an object.
Day 12: Choose an herb and research its current spiritual uses and historical folklore surrounding it. Look into whether it has any scientifically verified medicinal properties. Be wary of pseudoscience. Find any other information about it that interests you. Try to draw it if you feel inclined to do so.
Day 13: Try a meditation technique or guided meditation you have never attempted before. Write about your experience and how you felt before, during, and after.
Day 14: Research altars. What are they? What are they used for? Do you think you want to use one? If so, what would you put on it? Why? If you have the means to, create an altar inside or outside your house. Be mindful that if your altar is outside, what you place on it may affect the environment. Be responsible.
Day 15: Journal freely about the following questions: Do you believe in human spirits? Do you believe in non-human spirits? Do you believe deities exist? Do you believe in house spirits, land spirits, spirits of bodies of water, and/or elemental spirits? Do you believe in demons? What experiences do you have that you feel impact your answers to any of the above questions?
Day 16: Research divination. What is it for? What are 5 different methods people use to divine? What are the origins of those methods?
Day 17: Choose your own path for today! Choose any topic relating to witchcraft that you're interested in and write down as much as you can about it! Dive as deep as you desire
Day 18: Research folklore about the seasons in your region. What do the seasons represent to you? What sort of symbolism do you attach to them?
Day 19: Choose an intention and perform a spell purely based on your intuition. Don't plan anything. Just do what feels right. Feel the vibe and act.
Day 20: You did it ! Reflect on what you learned, and what you wish to learn next. Which days were challenging for you? Which days were easy? Which day did you enjoy the most? Did your findings meet your expectations?
