A peaceful death.

I went out to my balcony to water my tomato plants and saw something on one of the leaves. It was a dead bee. It looked like it had stung someone, and then flew all the way up several stories to my balcony to die. I wonder what happened to make it sting someone and end its life. I can’t believe it managed to curl up so perfectly, and in such a way that it didn’t roll off the leaf.  I stared at it a long time, curled up on a leaf in the sunlight, apparently unbothered by the breeze. Even peaceful deaths in sunshine are somber.

The sun falls like dew highlighting their skin and you become stilled. Taking in those slow few seconds, watching the flutter of eyelashes as their dark eyes sink through. And oh love, you sink too. Right back into those first few moments when your paths crossed, right back against them, into the calm tide of their voice, and the musical laughter... completely and utterly consumed by,

I found out about bullet journaling from the How To ADHD YouTube Channel (RIP) where Jessica spoke to Ryder Carroll (bullet journal guy). She linked to this video and I watched it and was like wow this is helpful.

I've been using them for years since then. I definitely don't use it to even the capacity shown here. It's a notebook that has ongoing to-do lists and stuff to remember as well as random spontaneous thoughts and writings (and plans for which weapons to prioritise in Monster Hunter Now). It's ugly and messy but like, it does what it's supposed to do.

Anyways I mentioned bullet journalling to someone and they said I "don't seem like the type", so I had a look around and saw this whole bullet journalcore world and I was like WOW you guys do not know what a bullet journal is.

Still reeling from the realization that bullet journaling was essentially created to be a disability aid and got legit fuckin gentrified
