Sa'turnus was born named Sa'umbra, but after a ton of shit happened he changed his name.

There's an ancient tomb underground that holds the remains of a king and his entire people, as well as a bunch of animal remains. Most of these remains have been neatly put together and buried, all labeled as different people and animals by the sole survivor, who had been cursed with immortality.

There exist worlds beyond mortal comprehension, the universe expands so far beyond what is known, to worlds and beings of a terrifyingly gorgeous nature.

The true purpose of everything is unknown, lost. This world has powerful entities that are praised and worshipped by the people, but what service do these entities serve? Where do THEY go? Why were they made? To be placed on a pedestal?

There's an undersea kingdom.

There are methods of darkness in this world that could crumble all the worlds to dust in mere nanoseconds.

"you said you like me. are you sure about that?"

When Tommy was young he and his mom would sit outside on the back porch and look up at the moon and stars. Every time they went out, she would have a new story to tell about a man who lived all alone on the moon.

“He's got a spaceship, and he built himself a home. He gets dressed and goes for walks every day, all by himself. He eats each and every meal alone. When something goes wrong, he's the one who has to fix it. When it's his birthday, he makes himself a cake and lights the candles. He sings to himself and eats the whole thing. No need to cut the cake in slices when you're the only one eating it.”

“How does he get food?” Tommy asked.

“They send him up stuff from Earth. They know he's up there, but they also know he wants to be left alone.”

“Isn't he lonely though?”

“Oh, yes. Very lonely. Every day he looks at Earth and thinks about coming home. Thinks about talking to people again, hugging them, even kissing them.”

“Yuck!” Tommy exclaimed, scrunching his face in disgust.

“I know, I know,” his mom replied with a laugh. “Yes, he's lonely. But it's not enough to make him come home.”

“Why?”

“Because so many people made him sad that he decided it was easier to stay alone. Kids at school, when he was young. His parents, his friends. They all ended up hurting him somehow. Then when he got older, he had to work and he wasn't happy at work. The woman he loved broke his heart. She didn't even mean to, but she did. And that's when he decided to get into his spaceship and go to the moon and never come back.”

“Mommy?”

“Yeah, Honey?”

“That's a weird story.”

She smiled, planting a kiss on top of his head. “Yeah, I guess it is.”

Tommy never understood that man as a kid. Who cares if some people made you sad? You just find new people! That's what Tommy did at school. His friend pushed him down on the playground one time, so he went and found a new friend! That's what the man on the moon should do!

Thirty-five years later, as Tommy laid in bed and stared up at the moon from his bedroom window, he got it.

He understood that man.

He was that man.

If only he could get to the moon.

The Devil's Minion chapter of QOTD needs to be scientifically studied by professionals because every person who reads it becomes a whole different person completely, absolutely consumed by the content of that chapter, unable to move on and be normal about it, even has Assad Zaman talking in interviews like THAT........She put something in there......

imagine prom night in a high school modern setting

giyuu sits on a corner near the table with the food, alone as his classmates are either hanging out and having fun with their friends OR dancing

tengen and shinobu harmlessly joking about a making a bet whether someone would ask giyuu to dance or not. others join in, and sanemi overhears it. he doesn't join but he doesn't stop them either, just casually glancing at giyuu who seems to be thinking deeply about something.

if he were his younger self a few months ago, he would totally join in with the bet, but now, he's having second thoughts, especially when he had spent a significant amount of time getting to know giyuu due to being paired with him on various projects... as a dare by his friends too.

now, overhearing more about the bet, he can't help but feel slightly pissed off. he cursed at his own hypocrisy, but he figured he wanted to do something for tomioka this time.

just as he already made up his mind to ask giyuu for a dance, he was slightly caught off guard to see someone else already asking giyuu to dance.

It was none other than sabito, giyuu's childhood friend.

"giyuu, may I have this dance?"

sanemi didn't quite hear it clearly due to the distance and the music playing throughout the venue, but he saw how sabito's lips moved, and the hateful way in which tomioka's eyes lit up immediately after. thereafter giyuu flashed a gentle smile towards sabito.

sanemi felt an unusual tight feeling in his heart at how it wasn't directed at him.

he heard his friends mumble incoherently, probably talking about tomioka and his bestfriend.

but sanemi didn't care about his friends now, he didn't even know what was running in his mind when his legs moved on its own and he rushed in front of giyuu, making sure to bump his shoulder with sabito, who gave him an unreadable look.

"actually," sanemi cut in, "he's with me since earlier."

sabito snorted, earning him a glare from sanemi.

"funny you'd say that," sabito paused, taking giyuu's hand on his, making the latter follow and stand beside him.

"when you and your friends have been hanging out, completely ignoring giyuu for as long as I can remember today."

sabito wraps his arms around giyuu's waist, the latter making a confused look, oblivious to the tension building up.

"not so manly of you, huh?" sabito threw a look on sanemi's way, making sure to send a condescending smirk not long after.

insane ass dynamic??? sherlock asks watson if she actually committed the crime she's being charged with (brutally beating a serial killer to death after he tried to kill her) with full assurances that he'd help her get away with it and she's like "NO. so did you do it?" cause like five episodes ago the two of them had seriously considered murdering him with heroin because he pissed them off so much it would be worth the stain on sherlock's relationship with sobriety and holmes has to be like "omg nooooo nooo i would have told you!"
