Here is another piece dedicated to my teenage self. As mentioned in an older post, I found some drawings I did wayyy back in the early 2010s. And I decided to redraw some of them.

Fun fact: I vaguely remember recording myself working on this piece. I’m not sure if I have deleted the video or not from an old YT channel. Needless to say, I have long since lost access to whatever account I may have used to publish it.

We all start somewhere!

i was feeling a little nostalgic and so redrew some old miraculous kiddos :] i think its crazy how much my art has changed in 2.5 yrs. especially:

1. hair (especially especially mens hair, like adriens hair used to be so difficult for me... evidently LMAO) 2. clothes (marinette's hoodie in 2021? i'd wanted it to be baggy but. just. it wasnt happening LOL) 3. speed. i did these redraws way faster than the originals

anyways. yeah keep drawing 2.5 years is a really long time but the difference between even just a few months is so vast!! I just love that artists can VISUALLY SEE these things that's such a plus

Kinda cooked with this one actually, p sure this was 2020 or somesuch because that’s when I was obsessed with coraline

This was the first time I ever drew mipha AAAAAAAAGH 😭😭😭 it was also like, the third drawing I made on procreate. God I am SO much better at drawing hands but I’m NOT a lot better at drawing feet which is funny tbh. This one’s a disaster though

Also cooked with this one actually it’s pretty cute. Also I’m sure you can tell by now. No. I have never had a consistent signature. Such is my curse

I SHOULD REDRAW THIS ONE this was actually so hot of me I was SO proud of this. Also did not draw the other leg because I’m clearly smart

This was an inside joke with my friends but I ate up the font I think. Also that skull that I straight up traced. That’s hot shit right there

I recently posted my new 'Supervisual Sakura' design and figured it would be interesting to show the older 2020 and 2021 versions. If I really like an older design and think I can improve it, I'll remake it. The biggest change in the 2023 version is the illustration, and it shows just how useful a year of forcing myself to spend 15 minutes a day drawing was.
