Forest Sage (7+ years apart)

Long before the Koroks, there were the Kokiri - children of the forest who never grew up, each having a fairy companion. Over time, they stopped looking human, & became the little wooden Koroks.

A few of them stood out among legends - the boy without a fairy, & the girl who became the Forest Sage, with hair as verdant as grass & trees…🌳🍃

Saria is my all-time favorite Sage in Legend of Zelda across all the games, & after finding an old drawing I made in 2017, I figured I’d do a “before & after!”

A lot can happen in 7+ years, though there can be nice things found in our messier pasts (I kinda miss how I drew grass more organically back then). Here’s to learning, growing, & sharing art for many more years to come! 🌱

Here is another piece dedicated to my teenage self. As mentioned in an older post, I found some drawings I did wayyy back in the early 2010s. And I decided to redraw some of them.

Fun fact: I vaguely remember recording myself working on this piece. I’m not sure if I have deleted the video or not from an old YT channel. Needless to say, I have long since lost access to whatever account I may have used to publish it.
