Summary:

Link puts the Master Sword back into its pedestal, breathes a sigh of relief, and Navi takes it as her sign to leave. She wriggles out from under the cloth of his hat and floats in front of him. The blue light that echoes from her figure shines in waves across his face, illuminating the sudden frown on his lips and the wrinkles on his forehead. His eyes are wide as he watches her move, surprise filling them, but she catches a hint of resignation in there as well. Like he knew what she was about to do. Like he had seen it coming. There are no words Navi can say to ease his pain, nor does she think he would appreciate them. It is simply her time to go. ----- (aka why navi decides to leave)
