How have I not seen this for thirteen days for some reason I’ve never even THOUGHT about the public reacting like this??? Oh my god you’re so smart?? And creative?? Like I always just thought the public would go “oh yeah no he’s a crackhead and we WILL be displeased. That guys scum. We hate him.” And I have no idea WHY because actually the public having no opinion is SOOO much better like they don’t even gaf he’s not even worth giving a fuck about but he’s cool to party w ig OH MY GOD good lord oh god

concept: a tim completely wasted on alcohol and coke thought it would be funny to take a picture/ get a picture taken by some rando at a party who doesn't know him of him about to do a line of coke. He keeps this picture. At some point he either accidentally tweets the pic or accidentally sends it to Dick or someone else. I have this very specific image of the picture in my mind. He's got this big publicity-photoshoot CEO-style grin on his face in a way that contrasts with the party all around him and what's clearly going on. He's giving a thumbs up to the camera and has his head tilted forward in a way that indicates he's not all there.

Oh my god anon I love you. I love you. I actually have basically this exact scene in my fic I’m writing except it’s a stranger who posts the photo and Jason finds it while looking into dealers. The detail?? Amazing oh my GOD I’m going to write a one shot about this in a few hours as soon as I can get away!!

The death of boy wonder

This is common knowledge, but when Dick was Robin, he was referred to as the Boy Wonder. The question is—when did that title stop? Your first thought might be, “Well, after Dick, duh.” But I personally don’t think so.

See, Jason Todd was just as happy and joyful as he was traumatized. He hid many of his own cringeworthy quips up until his death. None of this “Jason was the angry Robin” bullshit—he was a ray of sunshine and pure gold. So why would Gothamites stop calling him that? The name Robin didn’t change, so why would they change his nickname or stop giving him one altogether? Especially when it fit, They wouldn’t.

So, Dick and Jason were both Boy Wonder. Naturally, you’d expect the next person to take up the mantle—Tim—to be called that too. But Tim didn’t have as much hope in his masked eyes. He didn’t have the same natural charisma or confidence. The wonder wasn’t there nearly as much as it was with the other two. Sure, he had the occasional quip, but overall, his humor was drier and more sarcastic. He was much more analytical—not that Dick and Jason weren’t, but with Tim, it was obvious.

He just wasn’t as cheery, and that’s fine. But he wasn’t Boy Wonder. His charm was too subtle. He didn’t go out of his way to be the “fun” Robin, though he could lighten the mood when needed. But the wonder just wasn’t there as much. And as time went on, as he became more serious, the nickname gradually faded out.

Boy Wonder died with Jason, in Tim’s arms. And only Robin was left.

So when Titan Tower happened, he was on a mission to get his old mantle back to avoid inheriting Discowing. He refuses.

I have a headcanon that whenever Tim has a devious, manic, absolutely bad shit insane plan, he introduced the plan with a laugh, a glint in his eyes and a wide ass smile as he says, "I've got a plan"

Everyone knows what it means, and they know that when it happens, they will have committed a few warcrimes by the end of the day.

They live in fear.

Except Jason, though, he thinks the plans are great. He sees Tim's smile and fucking celebrates because fucking finally he'll allow me to use my rocket-launcher.
