COTL - The Name of the Lamb

I have worms in the brain, and they must be exorcised...!

I dunno it seemed kinda weird to me that everyone--even Ratau, a former bearer of the Red Crown himself--refers to Narinder as "The One Who Waits," despite most likely knowing his true name (citation needed.) So maybe there's a curse on it, which would explain how no one but Shamura and Haro speak it in-game. (Though even beings like the duck siblings, Clauneck especially, don't speak Narinder's name despite most likely fulfilling the exemptions mentioned here. *shrug*)

Well, even in IRL religions and mythologies, the names of gods are sacred and not meant to be spoken frivolously. Like when I was little, I was told never to mention Satan or the devil because that was an invitation.

Perhaps maybe that would extend to the Lamb as well, once they are borderline and newly ascended to godhood. So therefore, even after one would know Lamb's name, they are still referred to as "Lamb" to avoid any potential issues that come with speaking a god's name. Eh, just a thought...

GUUHHH I'm not ready to commit to a comic again, I do NOT want this to become a habit...!

THERE IS A VERY OBVIOUS MARIO/BLECK PARALLEL THAT NOBODY EVER TALKS ABOUT 😆

Count Bleck is not just an antagonist, he also serves as a kind of foil for Mario’s character, by illustrating the different ways the two deal with a similar situation (namely losing the girl they love). While the focus of the story is on Bleck, it’s often overlooked how Mario has been through hell and back (literally) in chapters 6, 7 and 8, and by this point he’s been through a series of losses at least comparable to Bleck’s. Each protagonist has a ‘foil’ villain to face in the last gauntlet, and Mario facing Bleck is no exception—instead of becoming bitter in despair, he quietly shows his strength of character even when his friends are gone: and THATS why he’s the hero 👏

I read ‘Days I Have Held(Days I have lost) by sepia_stained_sunset and it killed me💔 their brotherly relationship means so much to me. Tim grew up an only child now all of a sudden he has a baby brother! Damian now has a older brother too, one that he originally viewed as a obstacle in his way but growing to accept this new different life from the League. They started off on rocky beginnings but they grow to love each other. Their dynamic is so interesting too, Damian being raised in the league as an assassin while Tim being raised as a normal kid, but both chose to step into the robin mantle and they have to learn that they are more similar than they thought.

I don’t usually think about romanceable party members and NPCs in my video games too hard or deeply, but the sheer amount of heart/valentine/love imagery surrounding Nick Valentine, combined with the fact that he’s one of the few F4 companions kept solidly off limits, and combined with all his little flirty asides and hints and so on, has me feeling so salty you could cook a nicely seasoned steak on me! So here, have a vent comic.
