I've had some trouble trying to incorporate these two and the other supplemental characters into the story (Felix, Lila, Luka, etc.) but I've decided that off-screen after they meet that they are opposite besties. "Someone will die... of fun!" type duo. I saw the picture of the black and pink Vivienne purses and was like I need to draw a duo w these and ended up picking these two. They're both very kpop-fashion inspired and rich so they can get whatever expensive extra outfits they want lol. Zoe is a Hope World listener <3

relatable artist moment but I have a bunch of animatic ideas and i've had this fear that someone else thought of my idea before me and I'd accidentally steal their idea by doing it myself, but whenever I've looked up to see if anyone used the same song and same fandom as I would, sometimes I found a couple, once I actually watched them they were in completely different directions and concepts than what I would do... the fear of not being original is just holding you back!

that's also what I love about the miraculous au community on tumblr because we all start with the same base concepts and show but end up in such distinct and different places... y'all inspire me so much you don't even know!

ik a lot of ppl w au's have shared their lore but ngl I'm not super solid on any of mine I still have to connect all of my ideas together... I will share when my ideas are more concrete hehe but I am on my way! I have a good idea of what I want all the character arcs to be because character work comes to me much easier than lore/story structure... this would be my first comic ever so I want to be as prepared as possible!

My au's Marinette! If I end up actually committing to making a comic of it I would probably have the characters change clothes every day... making my characters have distinct personal styles and making new outfits for them fills me with joy lol

(ngl the reason I made her hair more purple toned is because of Kae Serinuma from Kiss Him Not Me lmao a little behind the scenes)

I've organized all the (many) characters I want to be used so far, I will probably add more later but I've got to work my way through making basic reference pages for them all... I still have no idea what I'm supposed to do with Lila... I've figured out Zoe and Felix but she's still a mystery to me lol

how are y'all organizing your au stuff? i tried milanote but found out the storage for the free version is kinda trash so i made a notion account... we'll see how well this works for me!

apparently it can also be used collaboratively? it's only me working on mine for this project so i probs won't use that part lol but it is intriguing...

i have a lot of notes that i've taken on my phone and shoved into a google doc of bullets so it's probably going to take foreverrrrr to organize them so im procrastinating lmao <3

highkey planning on just not doing the sentimonster plotline at all... like adriens story is already sad enough i dont need another thing yk ;-; i want a happyish ending lol, very interesting idea w the characters trying to figure out what being human really means very Pinocchio and Frankenstein's monster energy but i think it's just not for my rewrite :p

Miraculous fairytale style designs! I've had this idea kicking around for a while and have some loose ideas for Nino, Alya and Chloe but nothing concrete :p

I imagine that Lil' Red Ladybug has her little basket of wonders that she reaches in and pulls out randomized items like her lucky charms. Maybe she also holds the ribbon on the side and spins the basket around like a much bigger yo-yo lol she is NOT afraid to hit you with her purse. Also I like her mask just being stylized shadows from her hood :)

With Cat he's the big bad wolf but like a cat instead and he has two rose rapiers instead of batons (he ended up looking very Rum Tum Tugger inspired lmao ig great cats think alike) I wanted the outfits to give stage-play energy, like costumes instead of just regular fantasy.

While sketching I ended up really liking the shapes I used :) I'm trying to get better at posting more unfinished drawings and not letting the clean line curse get me all the time ;-; anyways I really like these and might do more of them/more exploration in the future xx

the clean line curse gets me again ;-; im always like "this time im just gonna do loose sketchy lines" and end up doing clean lines anyways rip (okay but i just wanna say that the alya + adrien friendship is underrated like the nerdiness + showmanship combo? yeah these are two different types of theater kids)
