Tablo:  She didn't cry then, but when the whole controversy was resolved, one day, I asked her, "It was hard, wasn't it?"  And then she started crying really hard.  She had held it all in.  Even though she'd been wanting to cry, she thought it would, as a result, make me weaker.

I gotta say while I have enjoyed this season, the possession plot made me sad. Uh I always try to stay positive with this show so I'm gonna take this as a kind of critical but also hopes for the future because it could totally be a thing for Arc 3, I'm not extremely negative or anything, it's just an observation but hiding just in case:

We got a lot of foreshadowing regarding this topic (Kosmo telling him doing dark magic again would corrupt him entirely, Rayla saying to Callum he should choose the greater good over her, Rayla promising to kill Callum, etc etc) everything led to Callum doing dark magic for her, getting completely corrupted and her saving him, because she's his one truth.

But then... why was all of this? This didn't get to happen, or not something evern remotely similar, Callum didn't get to fully do dark magic, so the whole build up to the possession plot didn't come into fruition, the whole 603 episode. We don't know if Rayla would have gone thru it all the way.

I don't feel like Rayla's character is finished at all, yes she did save her dads but... that's it. She was willing to sacrifice Callum because choosing Callum would be choosing her own happiness, but also an important part for her would have been finally being selfish because this girl has always to sacrifice herself (like in TTM). I thought the build up was for them to choose each other so I don't think there was a lot of resolution regarding this.

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't want to be negative, TDP is an slow burn show (look at the Pip plot) and also like there was also a lot of stuff with the cube we haven't seen, and that's connected to the possession plot as well. Aaravos has to come back in seven years so maybe the whole possession plot buildup will come in full in Arc 3, because... it's not really resolved at all. I don't know if Callum has fully done dark magic or not but I'm going for not since he's fine.

Another positive about TDP is that is way more enjoyable when you rewatch it to see the resolved things and foreshadowing and everything, so maybe when/if Arc 3 happens, I will look back at this season and say "yeah, I had to be patient!"

We need Arc 3 to happen, a lot of unresolved things, specially this one. I'm gonna be forever sad if we don't even get closure with this plot in particular.

WIP Wed— Thursday!

I‘m late i knowww but yesterday was really busy and I still want to post a sneak peak of the thing I‘m currently working on!

Agnes stayed silent, eyes sternly focused on the dark road, only the sound of raindrops splattering onto the windshield between you. And that cover of Last Christmas, again.

You passed a road sign. A parking lot and a phone cell just a few miles ahead of you.

„Let’s stop there“, you proposed, watching the way Agnes pressed her lips together in a harsh line. „You know I don’t like when you drive angry.“

„I‘m not angry“, she replied immediately, and as if to prove her point, she took her foot off the gas, letting the car slow down a little, „I‘m just … irritated.“

„Either way“, finally, you reached out to her, brushing the few lost strands of hair behind her ear. The gentle touch of your fingertips against her cheek had her exhale sharply, readjusting her grip on the steering wheel. The car did a minimal swirl to the left before she caught herself again and readjusted her position on the road.

You giggled, pulling your hand away, elbows leaning on the middle console as you grinned at her. The tip of your tongue peaked out past your lips, giving her a coy smile. „I think you should take a break to … release some tension anyway.“ Your voice dropped lower when you saw the way her jaw tensed. „And it‘s just us out here tonight.“

At the clearly suggestive tone that swung in your voice, she finally glanced over at you, pupils dark. You shrugged your coat off your shoulders, leaning a little further towards her, eyes batting almost innocently.

Agnes' eyes stared at your lips, your eyes, your shoulder, still covered by a knit sweater, but the lacy strap of your bra peeking out, and then quickly back to the road before you.

She swallowed hard, then scoffed. But the smirk on her lips betrayed her, even as her eyes turned back to the road. Her right hand left the steering wheel to come rest firmly on your thigh, fingers brushing over the fabric of your pants so high up, your breath hitched at the contact. That made her chuckle, a low sound in the back of her throat, and she blinked right to pull over into the parking lot. „Maybe you’re right“, her thumb ran lazily up and down your inner thigh, „A break sounds good right now.“

Le Morte d'Arthur is not fanfiction, it is quite literally a compilation of all of the existing stories. That's not the same thing as fanfiction.

And you can't have fanfiction without copyright law. So even if it weren't a compilation and were original stories, it would still not be fanfiction.

The only difference between fanfiction and an official continuation or change to the story is copyright. You can't have fanfiction if there's no copyright law.

As I said in my other reblog, Chrétien de Troyes also did not invent the Lancelot character, he was just the first one we know of to write it down. These were oral stories long before anyone wrote them down. Most people back then couldn't read. Regular people were not learning to read and write. They were just telling stories like people do.

Finding out that Lancelot was apparently the invention of a french writer is absolutely hysterical to me. 12th century french poet sitting around reading arthurian romances and thinking "yeah these stories are pretty good but I think what they really need is a french guy who shows up and fucks arthurs wife"

A year or so ago, I made a compilation of all my Halloween-adjacent fics. This year, I meant to write something for Christmas, but never got the inspiration to, so I thought - oh! I'll make a list of all my Christmas fics! It turns out, there's only 2 I've written, so I've decided to also include any winter-themed ones, too. And by that, I mean one (1) one-shot. This is an embarrassingly small list, but I figured I'd make it anyway and hopefully be inspired to add to it later!
