i taught myself to make music but i Do have quite a bit of music theory training. honestly though the only thing i consciously use is the circle of fifths because music theory is mostly superspecific white supremacist garbage but other than that you can get Really far just using your ear

All these interactions will be on different verses, and I don't plan to have Khonshu be 'mains' with any muses.

- FIGHTS: With extremely rare exceptions, I'm just gonna say no to fight threads with Khonshu. Partly because he's incorporeal and really can't be hurt or hurt anyone else directly. Mostly because fighting other muses has always stressed me out. If it's something you really want to do, we can talk about it. (This doesn't mean your character can't attack Khonshu ever, it just means it probably won't work.)

NAME: Khonshu OTHER NAMES: Chons, Bloody pigeon, Silly old bird (He accepts none of those) PRONOUNS: He/him HEIGHT: Varies, usually around 8-10 feet tall. WEIGHT: N/A (Incorporeal, like a ghost) AGE: Has existed since the dawn of time, so who knows.

- KHONSHU is the Egyptian god of the moon, vengeance, healing and time, among other smaller things. While he is enormously powerful in theory, he’s mostly unable to affect the physical world without use of a mortal AVATAR, dubbed his MOON KNIGHT. Those who agree to be his Avatar are granted superpowers and near-invulnerability, in exchange for agreeing to carry out his mission: Bringing vengeance against those who harm his travelers of the night.

- Khonshu is also somehow a billions-year-old grumpy baby who flips over trash cans when he doesn’t get his way.

- By default, Khonshu's current Avatar is JAKE LOCKLEY, only. But, he can also be played before the events of the show, when he (technically) has the triple threat of Jake Lockley, MARC SPECTOR, and STEVEN GRANT.

- Jake will make occasional cameos on this blog, but I wouldn't call this a dual muse. (You can request him in asks if you want.)

- Normally, only his Avatar (or Avatars of other gods) are capable of seeing/hearing Khonshu, but let’s say this blog is a holy space where he can answer your prayers questions. (In threads, we can always bullshit a reason your character can see Khonshu.)

- This Khonshu is HEAVILY BASED ON THE TV SHOW, which means he lacks a lot of the harsher history his comic book counterpart has. You can ask about comic stuff, he just might have a different opinion.

- Some comic lore has been added/built upon, namely his fraught history with his father, AMON-RA.

Hi!! Sorry its taken me so long to get to this, I’ve traveled about 1300 miles (aprox 2093 km) in the last 2 weeks

Tips for baby/puppy punks!! Yes! I have a lot of those, but I’ll summarize into the important ones:

The absolute most important thing I can tell you is to develop critical thinking skills (if you don’t already have them). Dont just hop on a bandwagon because all the other punks are doing it. Take the time to learn and form your own opinions on something

The second most important thing I can tell you is to always take advice/criticism with a grain of salt (this applies to things outside of alternative sub cultures as well). People will tell you things. Sometimes they are lying or dont know any better. Sometimes their advice will work for one person but not another. For example, a lot of people say if you dont dress the part, you arent punk. However, sometimes it takes a while to build up an alternative closet. Sometimes people live in an area where it may not be safe to wear their opinions on their sleeves (especially minors). Sometimes people just like the color pink and thats *fine*. This mindset can be applied to literally everything. Just do what works for you

That leads nicely into my 3rd point, you dont have to dress or look a certain way OR listen to certain bands to be punk. Anyone who says otherwise is a poser. That being said, it’s generally accepted that you shouldnt wear shirts or patches for bands you’ve never even heard of (no one can stop you but you might be labeled a poser)

Advice specifically for diy: watch videos, if you want to learn how to make a specific thing there is 100% a video somewhere on it. Also, ask people. If someone has something really cool and you want to learn how they made it, go talk to them (assuming its not some dark alley). Some materials you might want to start collecting are can tabs, bottle caps, and safety pins

Music advice that I will die by: You dont have to listen to punk music to be punk. Sure, its an important part of the subculture, but not the only part. Its more important to learn about punk values than headbang until your neck snaps

Welcome to the Rotomblr blog for The Galar Battle Academy. We have created this blog in order to make appropriate updates and notices in an easier, more effective format. However, we will also be making informative posts. Feel free to reach out via the “Ask Here” button at the top of the page for any questions you would like answered.

The school’s mission is to create strong, brave and powerful trainers — as well as assist them on their journey towards their goals, whatever they may be. We do this through our curriculum, support networks and workshops. We also have clubs that students themselves run, which include hobbies and interests of their liking.

ok ok ok so. Off the bat, for story stuff, you can find like a loose summary here, and a bit more of an in-depth one here. Generally, if you're looking for information about the world and the characters as opposed to just the random art, the #steelheart redux lore tag is a good place to start, though admittedly it's a little sparse.

There's no real like... compilation of all the information I've shared through art on here, but to be honest that's kind of by design? Because this is a story I want-- and intend!-- to tell, eventually, and thus there are some things I can't share. I'm just addicted to posting vaguely out of context spoilers for it haha

but if you don't feel like tag-hopping (valid), here's a brief rundown: 15-year-old boy (arthur steele) ends up neurologically connected to a sentient robo-dragon-vehicle (zarian) by accident (as you do) which leads to a Lot Of Problems For Both Of Them. in the aftermath of this, they end up getting involved with trying to end the ongoing war between the robo-dragons (mysteriously corrupted and violent) and the people living in the country, and things just get increasingly more chaotic and complicated from there. it's serious at times but there's a lot of silliness and fun times. i'm very fond of the guys.

bonus: character primer of the guys you'll see the most of if u tag-trawl:

arthur steele - 15 y/o boy from the city of Orello; pleasant, polite, and king of hoping his impulsive decisions just "work out"

zarian - the DRACO (robo-dragon) arthur ends up connected to. functionally also 15. kind of snarky, really just nervous all the time

lindsay jackson - 16 y/o girl from the city of Callia; cheerful, confident, and very very curious. loves space and science, wants to be a doctor like her mom

david manalo - lead engineer (or something similar) at Defenex, works on the PULSARs; a bit lonely, but generally pretty happy and relaxed. enjoys his routine and predictable life (lol). hes like 30

this is my baby litwick, her name is yulan ^_^ i got her only a few months ago!! she's such a sweetheart and she hasn't caused ANY issues lately, i just have to get her to bed before i sleep or else she will absorb my energy in my sleep and i will wake up feeling like shit the next morning. whoops lol

this is my rescue eevee, luna! there was an issue with trainers dumping eevees in the forests around castelia which was awful for the eevees and the local pokemon population, i rescued him while i was working with a shelter!! he started out super wary but he's warmed up to me now and he's really chill now and loves cuddling!! :) he's such a big baby

my newest pokemon is nicknamed fei, he is a venipede and is kind of aggressive and a bit hard to deal with :( i'm training him now though and yulan and luna are such big helps so i hope it goes ok!! i don't have any pics because the last time i tried to get one i had the flash on and he jumped and stung me >__< i had a lot of antidotes on hand so it was all good though lol!!!

Hello! Thank you for continuing to keep me in mind! In the time you were away I had my first session with this campaign!! Scuffed as it was with 1 persons missing, only 1 person there in person, and 4 people hopping in and out for various things throughout.

The logic there is flawed in regards to being at war but suppressing magic and development. (Which is one of the points that could be made against it) but the monarchs themselves are following a way of thinking instilled at a time when they weren’t at war.

You see essentially the way the 5 magic types came about is mainly through how magic presents in individuals. The 5 magic types are the affinities that one will show. The first magic they preform has a very high likelihood of being one of these magic types because they are so easy to do and show what you as an individual would be better at in the wide scope of magic. That’s the original reason they were categorized. So magic teachers could figure out what types of magic you would preform better with and have an easier time learning.

Then as time went on the monarchy (of that time period) saw that this was an opportunity to subdue unrest and enlightenment type ideas brewing in the populace. Because more advanced magic needed heavy education that often was taught by people that disliked the way the country was run,they were churning out powerful individuals that had the smarts and magic to back their claims. But the nobility also noticed that students taught in the 5 core magic types only (via taken out of school for whatever reason) were still functional and good workers with less of an inclination towards leadership roles.

So They slowly started changing the curriculum until it only focused on the 5 initial magic affinities. Changing history books so it leaned further away for supporting abnormal magic. Making people malleable and quick to fear things outside of the normality.

This was done during times of peace, and by the time the next war came around there was still knowledge of the capacity to do other magic but the royals of the next generation had grown up and learned that the 5 core were better, stronger, more indicative of power. So even more time passed with the knowledge of magic beings there in the royal libraries and lessons on history, but less actually willing to practice or utilize it.

There is not real defense against mind control. In fact that is one of the NPCs power! He had his magic sealed and is not allowed to talk about his ability. (Though he broke this agreement in the private of their dorm room when talking to the PCs lol) The main thing they do against people with abilities like this is just to seal their magic or imprison them.

As for power levels: they were more powerful because of the wider scope of magic they could do and combine to produce the results with less effort then with the “modern” magic restrictions.

As for sealing it is mostly just “sealing” away someone’s magic. Making it inaccessible to them. However high tier prison cells are also inlaid with the runes required to seal magic. Prisoners there must wear the cuffs and stay in these cells as extra precaution. However these cells are not often full for long as to be locked in one often means a death sentence “hanging” (get it?) in the near future.

Lastly the rolling magic system is pretty simple.You first roll for success, and then roll for damage if you beat the hit DC. Either the Dm will describe the results of this magic or if they are less familiar with the spell (or you want to personalize how it acts) will ask you to describe how it works for the rest of the party’s benefit.

Hey! Do you want to explain your campaign notes and/or hear some webcomic recs? I personally would enjoy both of those things.

You are literally the best person in the history of ever. My campaign is my baby I can and will talk about it for hours. Be warned this will be very long.

So the entire thing is set In a semi-modern fantasy world. With modern appliances that are powered magically (and non magically in some cases) The government is set up similarly to that of Naruto, in that different services are requested by people in the community,ranked by difficulty, and handed out to “ninja” but the ninja in this case are students. The head of the government however is closer to a bloodline monarchy, then the military dictatorship that is in Naruto.

Anyway this allows the players to get room outside of the school, and means I don’t have to develop full curriculums for these fuckers.

Additionally I altered the entire dnd class system to turn them into actual school classes. I had a blast making each individual one and defining how they interact and differ from one another.

Differing even further from traditional dnd is the magic system. Which brings up the topic of what inspired this campaign. A book called “upside down magic” by Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle, and Emily Jenkins. Specifically the first book being I never had the opportunity to read the rest the book series.

The magic system in the books lies in 5 main types of magic. (Fire, Flight, animal shifting, turning thing’s/people invisible, and talking to animals) and the conflict within those that don’t fit these boxes segmented by the society around them. Some of the traditional powers were altered or changed to better emphasize the fantasy vibes or to equal out power levels.

Many elements are taken from the book. But the most prominent being the magic. Restricted casting is applied to everyone, and the party members have “upside down” or abnormal magic. Some examples from their characters being; seeing ghosts, changing their physical appearance to match other people, communicating with animals (and people) telepathically, and more!

There’s also a lot of additional world building and plot stuff but this is already really long 😅 if you want any clarification or further information about it ask!

Hey, I recently got back into writing drarry. I never really found a community on here (or anywhere 😅) to share that writing with, get encouragement, maybe a beta or some help with difficult scenes - anything. Do you have any advice?

Hi my friend! Thank you for reaching out! I'd apologize for my slowness in responding, but maybe that's a perfect answer to your question. The short answer is: you're welcome here, with whatever time you have to share. We all have robost lives offline, and some spend more and less time around online than others. You're welcome here, even when you can't be online every day or be as responsive as some other folks might be.

In terms of practical advice, here are a few thoughts:

join the large 18+ Drarry discord (invite here). You can find beta readers and cheerleaders there (that's where I found my first when I didn't know anyone). I also like "sprinting" (writing in short, timed bursts, while other people write their own projects) as a way to build a little bit of community. EDIT: new link here

Post on tumblr when you can -- you could put out a call for betas here too. I'd also just suggest interacting when you can, reblogging other people, asking when ask games come up, joining in for open tag games, whenever you see them. Of course, when you're on less frequently some of these will pass you by, and that's okay -- just do them when you can and when they feel like fun.

Don't be afraid to jump into someone's messages or askbox to say hello. Mine is always open, as long as you're okay with a snail's pace of responses. I know that can be intimidating, but people around here are generally very kind and welcoming, and willing to say hello to new people.

Comment on fics and art, if/when you have the spoons. It's a great way to become more visible with active authors -- you could also ask authors or artists or reccers about their published projects to start up a conversation.

Share your writing and your interests! Whether in snippets, or in little anecdotes, or by reblogging things that feel connected to it and saying so in the tags or comments. It's much easier for other folks to engage with *you* if they have something they can ask about!

A couple other little tips I have found useful as I've grown less active in the past months: don't feel like you need to apologize for inactivity -- we all have lives, use the queue function on tumblr to space out your posts during times when you're not as active, ask folks what they're working on & they'll often turn it back to you, at times when you have more time to spare, offer help to others and they'll often offer it back... and so on!

Yes I'm a trans women, one that is lucky to pass enough for society to accept me as a women but a lot of trans women are not so lucky, if you fetishsize the trans women community you need to reevaluate how you look at us as a group in general real we are just women wanting to fit in society and live our lives just as a cis person but all the cis people in my comments and other Tumblr users are very disgusting and need to stop the idea that trans women are just a toy for you is absurd, as well as the fact that you treat us lower than you would a cis women, there is no respect and a lot of trans women have left Tumblr from this very reason. Spreading the native that trans women are just cross dressers or just sissy/sissies that are just men that one to have sexual interaction with men is wrong and does a lot of damage to our community and these cuts are deep because not only does affect us hear your remarks and beliefs affect us in everyday of life because it spreads to every corner of the internet and in person interactions being called a sissy or shemale is extre.ly toxic and rude. This language from now in my comments will be removed and deleted to keep it a safe place for other trans women to see my transition and how far I've come on this journey. The journey we take is not by choice, we rather be cis so just please treat us kindly and accept us for who we are. Thank you.

Year 6 of hrt

After 6 years I'm starting to feel better than everything I had my surgery planned back for last year but because of covid that canceled I'm waiting now to get back on the wait list to try again we have some set backs here and there and sometimes they are big but I'm super excited to see myself after I get surgery I'm going to be able to love myself more and be able to be who I truly am on the Inside!

I will contuie to post my progress as time goes on this my secondary account since my first one got nerfed back on the big Tumblr ban a few years ago because shared breadt growth updates. I'm hopping I can get back up to my orig 6k followers let's see if we can make it again ^0^

hi anon ! tysm !! i'll try my best to explain the methods i use under the cut

for fonts i go to a font generator website like this one or this one, and then i just copy the text with the font i want and paste it onto a tumblr post!

to add custom colors to text, first i’ll make a new post and add everything i want on it first (be it texts, pictures, etc.) then save as draft. then i’ll edit the draft and change the text editor on desktop to html. you can do this from the setting button on the top right corner of the post.

(personally i prefer using the legacy editor for html just because it's easier to use)

and you'll see this format on the post editor

next, you can add <span style="color:#(COLOR CODE)"> (your text) </span> and it should look like this

for an easier alternative, this website also has a html text generator that you can use to plan out your posts. just type out whatever you want, edit the format to your liking (bold, italics, blockquote, colours, etc.) and copy the html codes generated into your tumblr post editor!

you can click on "preview" to see if it worked (the text should appear in the color you chose in the preview), and if it's already to your liking you can go ahead and save or post it.

to make gradient-colored text, you can follow the same steps above for making colored text, but instead of adding the tag, you'll have to go to a website that will generate a color code for each character. a better, more detailed tutorial that i use is from this post !

and lastly, the moving lines you see are gifs! to add them, you can download them from the internet (on tumblr, you can search for "dividers", "(color) dividers", etc, and filter the results to show gifs. you can then download them, and add them onto your posts like you would add regular pictures (given the proper credits/permission from the creators, of course)
