- MUN STUFF: My name's Kew! She/they, well over 21. No triggers. I don't have DID, any attempt to portray it is based on the show/comics.

- MINORS BE WARNED: I'm not going to be super strict about weeding out minors since I don't expect things to get NSFW around here, but the show Khonshu is from does explore some darker themes for a TV-14 show. I dunno. You've been warned.

- GENERAL RP ETIQUETTE APPLIES: Don't make actions for my character without asking, don't assume past relationships/deep history without asking, don't read my character's mind (unless your character is a telepath, and even then I don't know if that works on gods), etc. - GENERAL CONTENT WARNING FOR: Descriptions of violence, religious stuff, swearing, emotional manipulation, a.bleism (especially surrounding mental health stuff.) I’ll try to tag other things as they come up. - FEEL FREE TO REBLOG MEMES FROM ME. It actually helps me remember to send stuff out. You can also reblog art/headcanons, pretty much anything except RP threads if you're not the other party!

- NOT PRIVATE, BUT SELECTIVE: I sometimes don't follow big multimuses back since I have pretty strict tastes in fandoms, and I don't want to clog my dash with characters I don't know. That doesn't mean I don't want to roleplay with you though! As for selectivity, I reserve the right to say no if things just don't click writing-wise.

- SPOILERS FOR MOON KNIGHT EVERYWHERE. There will be untagged spoilers for both the comics and especially the show. I highly recommend watching the Moon Knight TV show if you haven’t seen it! It got me into comic books and made me interested in the MCU. - That said, I haven’t seen all of the content in the MCU, not even a third of it, so I’m sorry if I get any lore details wrong.

- KHONSHU IS AN ASSHOLE. Nothing he says reflects my real views about anything. If he’s mean to you, it doesn’t mean I don’t like you or you’ve done something wrong.

- FOR OTHER MARC/STEVEN/JAKE MUSES: By default, I'll play Khonshu like he's connected to your Marc/Steven/Jake. If you want it to be dimension-hopping shenanigans (which I'm super down to do, especially for ones more heavily based on the comics) you'll have to let me know! All these interactions will be on different verses, and I don't plan to have Khonshu be 'mains' with any muses.

- FIGHTS: With extremely rare exceptions, I'm just gonna say no to fight threads. Partly because Khonshu is incorporeal and really can't be hurt or hurt anyone else directly. Mostly because fighting other muses has always stressed me out. If it's something you really want to do, we can talk about it. (This doesn't mean your character can't attack Khonshu ever, it just means it probably won't work.)

☽ MUSE INFO ☾

NAME: Khonshu OTHER NAMES: Chons, Bloody pigeon, Silly old bird (He accepts none of those) PRONOUNS: He/him HEIGHT: Varies, usually around 8-10 feet tall. WEIGHT: N/A (Incorporeal, like a ghost) AGE: Has existed since the dawn of time, so who knows.

- KHONSHU is the Egyptian god of the moon, vengeance, healing and time, among other smaller things. While he is enormously powerful in theory, he’s mostly unable to affect the physical world without use of a mortal AVATAR, dubbed his MOON KNIGHT. Those who agree to be his Avatar are granted superpowers and near-invulnerability, in exchange for agreeing to carry out his mission: Bringing vengeance against those who harm his travelers of the night.

- Khonshu is also somehow a billions-year-old grumpy baby who flips over trash cans when he doesn’t get his way.

- By default, Khonshu's current Avatar is JAKE LOCKLEY, and only Jake Lockley. But, he can also be played before the events of the show, when he (technically) has the triple threat of Jake Lockley, MARC SPECTOR, and STEVEN GRANT.

- Jake will make occasional cameos on this blog, but I wouldn't call this a dual muse. (You can request him in asks if you want.)

- Normally, only his Avatar (or Avatars of other gods) are capable of seeing/hearing Khonshu, but let’s say this blog is a holy space where he can answer your prayers questions. (In threads, we can always BS a reason your character can see Khonshu.)

- This Khonshu is HEAVILY BASED ON THE TV SHOW, which means he lacks a lot of the harsher history his comic book counterpart has. That said, as a god, he is aware of the multiverse and has at least a rough idea of what his counterparts are up to. You can ask about comic stuff, he just might have a different opinion.

- Some comic lore has been added/built upon, namely his fraught history with his father, AMON-RA. (This probably won’t come up much, but it does inform a lot of how I play the character.)

-Expectations: One of the things I loved about Omegle were the casual vibes when it came to when an rp needed to end. So, while I hope for some long term rps, I’m looking for people who will be okay with rps ending when interest dissipates. Without the need for big explanations as to why. This goes both ways! I won’t expect such explanations from you either if we start any sort of storyline and you end up wanting to drop out. The way I see it, this is meant to be a fun pass time and ideally shouldn’t feel like a stressful obligation for either of us.

It was supposed to be a simple job. Help out the smaller mutants and get them out of town. He’d used his cab to get them a portion of the way there but with all the blocks put up it was impossible getting his cab out without getting searched. He’d abandoned it in an alley for them to take to the underground. Cab lights shone the way.

Jake got out and opened the truck. “New plan. One at’a time. Quit pushin’ each other.”

Trunk closed he guided the small group around to the front where the headlights illuminated a manhole cover, the wisps of humid air slithered out like tendrils from the cover. The group hid behind Jake and he took his jacket off, tossing it aside and rolling up his sleeves. He walked over to the manhole cover and began brute-forcing his way into opening it. Other mutants made it look so easy, but Jake was finding without the suit this shit was harder than it looked.

The group just stood in a huddle and watched him. Weren’t much help at all. He couldn’t understand for the life of him why anyone would want them.

Another figure stepped into the light, the group shot off towards Jake to hide in his shadows. Jake straightened up in a low pant. The cover moved but not completely out of the way yet. Maybe enough for those little things to squeeze in, he thought. Just needed to distract whatever came to ruin their night. Putting on his best non-violent tone that he could muster, Jake growled. “This ain’t the night to be messin’ with me, pal. Go find another alley. Go on.”

He got closer and Jake’s gloved hands balled into fists, until the face came into view and he untensed. “Shit, why didn’t ya say you’re the local stray?” Jake suddenly all light and a touch more playful. Him and this asshole went way back. The guy hadn’t killed a person in his life, so there was no need for them to be killing him. No doubt lingering feelings from that were still present, but Jake had no reason to believe tonight was going to be another fight.

“Get this for me? We gotta move.” He gestured to the manhole cover. Neither stepping back or away when the other approached like the others behind him did. Unintimidated by the werewolf’s presence.

Summary: Marc's trying to do something nice for someone he likes, but Steven comes out instead.

Sand slipped out from the gaps between his fingers. Watching it fall back into the desert seas. He didn’t know how long he’d been there, but it started to feel like home among the ruins. He knew now this was where Marc almost died. Where Khonshu took advantage of him. How funny that it seemed to have become Steven’s serenity. How he kept returning to this specific place. He didn’t want to be anywhere else. He wouldn’t look at the lines in the sand of where a body had dragged itself up the steps. Or the stains of blood. Or the bodies outside. Inside there. For the smallest of moments. He felt safe.

Then his mom walked in. Wasn’t the first time she’d shown up somewhere in his headspace. He used to greet the arrival wholeheartedly. The illusion of all those good memories had crumbled away long ago. He didn’t greet her with a hug or joy. He slowly backed away when she approached, causing her to stop. Eyes glanced down to her empty hands and finding that alone still scared him. Something else coiled around in his chest. An underlying wound he felt whenever he thought about what she did to Marc. To them.

“I’m sorry mom. I gotta say it. What you did, it weren’t right.”

He expected her to strike him but she didn’t move. Didn’t smile. Looked less like the mom he knew and more like the mom Marc knew. It was unnerving. Didn’t stop him from continuing. The words bubbled out in his building resentments.

“I never said goodbye. I just wanted a mom that loved me and all I got was this. You were supposed to protect us. You were supposed to love him unconditionally. I want you gone. Out of my head. For good. I don’t want to see you anymore.”

She stepped forward and Steven cowered back into the corner. Trapped. His hand coming up to his mouth. Fear and apprehension bit into his every word. He covered his face to hide.

“Get out please. Go. I need you to leave me alone. Go please. Go away. Go-”

“You're safe. Steven. Take some deep breaths.”

The yank back to reality was so quick he hadn’t realized the words were being muttered while he kept his face covered. He popped up in a daze. Overthrowing Marc from the front so he could ground himself. Entirely disorientated and not even sure where the hell they were. An apartment, but not his own. Relief of not being back there washed over him.

“Yeah. Alright, yeah. Doin’ loads better.”

“Sure? You were wigging out a second ago.”

“I’m fine. Super. Why wouldn’t I be? What’re we doing here for?”

Marc went quiet, finally. He could think. Steven was standing in some rando’s kitchen. Food everywhere in the middle of preparation. Was he making himself a flipping sandwich??

“You didn’t break in here did you?”

“I did but it's a friends place-“

“Marc. We talked about this. We can’t be showing up places unannounced. Vampires don’t go in places they haven’t been invited and raid the cupboards, neither should we. It’s just rude.”

“That’s not how vampires work and it ain’t for me. Here. Let me take over. I'll finish up and we'll go.”

"Oh no, mister. No. It's my body too and you're not booting me out again. I didn't even know you could make friends until you let me meet that nice angry lady and handsome devil. What happened with those translations anyway?"

"Steven-"

A door opened and Steven spun around looking alarmed. Looking around and going for the closest thing. Spatula. Not sure if he was going to throw it or fend off an attack with it.

"Ello!" He tried to make it sound light and casual. Entirely less scary than being in his own head. A small wave with the spatula before bringing it back into a two-handed hug against his chest. "I'm making sandwiches. I think. I don't really know what I'm making actually. Is this your place? Do you want me to go? Because I can. Willingly. I won't be a problem."
