This is it, this is the day you die.

Was what was going though Killian's mind. Or was it another's voice in his head? He was sitting on the ground bloodsoaked and exhausted, surrounded by darkness and deafening silence. Was this reality or just a trick? Had the blast of cannons so close deafened him or was he just someplace dark and quiet like a dungeon? Could he already be dead and this was the afterlife? Was this hell? If it was, then why did he feel so cold? His mind racing to try and remember what had happened and where he was and yet drawing a blank.

His head was throbbing as he opened his eyes to look around, his sight blurry like everything was out of focus. He must've been hit in the head pretty damn hard. Killian scrunched his eyes and took a deep breath, hissing at a sharp pain in his chest. Felt like he'd taken a beating. Opening his eyes again he tried to focus but every breath was a struggle like he was fighting against death with every inhale.

Hello hello, name’s Dead (19, she/her) and I’m looking to get back into roleplaying and find some new rp partners interested in building plots and creating character dynamics and development! It’s been some time since I’ve gotten in to doing some lengthy or rping with plots and I may be a little rusty so please bear with me :)) With this in mind here’s some other things you need to know about me…

݁ᛪ༙ — My writing switches between semi-literate to literate depending how motivated I am to write with or go along with the plotting, I usually try to write one thick chunk or maybe two paragraphs to avoid writing any one-liners. I will also try my best to mirror my writing to my partners.

݁ᛪ༙ — I have a life outside of tumblr and discord, so please bear with me with my slow responses! With this in mind, I’m more active between Mondays and Fridays as well as weekends. Not to mention timezones are also funky. You may @ me after 4-5 days if I happen to forget about the rp but please don’t spam me.

݁ᛪ༙ — I’m all for platonic plotting between characters as well as adding romance, when it comes to pairings I’m more comfortable writing MLM as nearly all of my OCs are male, (I am open into trying MLNB though!) since writing female characters aren’t really my strong suit. I am a-okay adding any dead-dove or NSFW elements in our rps (though I much prefer them to be side-plot things rather than the main topic that’s driving the story forward).

݁ᛪ༙ — I also rp in a few fandoms and can play a few canon characters. I’m on board for writing canon x canon ships, but I will NOT be doing any oc x canon pairings or double-ups.

I can’t remember nor do I have a lot of fandoms I used write for but I’m more than comfortable in using my ocs for rping and plotting things with them. If I happen to find other fandoms I enjoy I might add them to the list! On that note, plotting with ocs in fandomless rps is something I’m more interested with creating plots that are action/adventure, crime, or horror oriented roleplays. I’m MORE than open to plot any roleplays with AUs!

݁ᛪ༙ — Another important thing to add, ageless or minor accs under 18 DNI, I’m not comfortable with interacting with younger people! If you are requesting for any creepy/weird tropes or you’re being an asshole in general, I will block you and end the discussion from there.

݁ᛪ༙ — Lastly, if you disappear on me without a word for more than a month, I will assume you’re no longer interested in the roleplay and I will leave the DM from there.

Hector's family had lived in this godforsaken town as long as he could remember. His father had been the Harbormaster for decades before a son had been even a thought and before him, so had his grandfather and his grandfather before that. This town was where good men go to die. Hector's mother had said that.

Good thing he'd never been a good man.

What miserable trade the town took part in went through the docks. No man with a lick of sense would take the land route here. Not with the treachery of the winds and rain that haunted visitors. It skulked in the shadows of townsfolk and tourists alike until it ran out the latter.

The sea was different. You could trust the stars, feel the breath of the sea in each rise and fall of the waves. Hector had worked those waters before he'd taken his father's place. He'd sailed the ferry ships for tourists around the coast, navigated the old fishing vessels, his sweat and blood had mixed with the ocean and so he too was a part of it.

Of course, his blood had found home other places. Too many a barfights in his youth earned him a stool at the seedy joints. Unless he had a bribe to take, he didn't frequent the upscale bars. No point in taking up space where one isn't wanted. He'd already earned a reputation as a salty bastard. It'd grown on him.

As it came to be, he was a man of many hats. If something needed to be brought into the town unnoticed, money needed to end up in Barbossa's hand. A shipment could go missing easily if no one knew to look for it. If a body needed to be disposed of, few locals braved the water past the shoals. If the current took it, it'd never wash up near enough Godscobh to raise any brows. This life of backroom deals had set him up nicely, and he had no complaints.

looking for writing partners!

hello! I'm kay, 19f, and i'm putting this post out there because i'm looking for writing partners (18+), as the title states:) i've been on a bit of a break from writing following things that went on in my personal life, but am now very eager to get back into roleplaying and writing!

i've got a docs linked on my pinned post which details things like my writing styles, what fandoms and characters I enjoy writing, etc.! in short, i'm very open-minded aha. i enjoy both roleplays set in fandoms (such as the hunger games, the last of us, etc.) as well as original settings with original characters. at the moment i'm still very much in my thg/tbosas phase and would love to write something within that.

He stops immediately whence his is spotted, his eyes wide, his cheeks flushed; a bottle near his breast is freshly uncorked, and a good portion of the purpling wine is missing from its intricate bottle.

"Good morning!" cheers Roland, caught red-handed, grass-stained and flustered. "Merry meet and wondr'us Eve!"
