"Is there something wrong?" Alucard echoed the question asked of him. "That is a complicated thing to answer. The quick answer is no, there is nothing wrong at this moment...." The dhampir replied as he avoided eye contact. It was clear to observe that Alucard was troubled, something on his mind was distracting his thoughts and causing sorrowful emotions in his heart. What these thoughts were it didn't seem like he would share them easily.

"I'll be okay, theres just alot on my mind." Alucard put on a warm smile to try and put the other at ease. "Your concern is touching, thank you. You don't have to worry about me."

I recently exposed my current Dungeon Master to The Magnus archives. And based on the session today… I fear I’ve made a big mistake. I fear for my characters lives and the lives of their friends more than ever before.

In short.

Don’t let your DM listen to Magnus Archives. They get too many ideas. It’s frightening

Possibly controversial take: Inter-party conflict and even occasional pvp can make for an amazing rp experience if you:

1.) Know when you draw the line (e.g., you never kill a PC during in pvp)

2.) You're on the same page about this being character conflict, rather than player conflict

This is it, this is the day you die.

Was what was going though Killian's mind. Or was it another's voice in his head? He was sitting on the ground bloodsoaked and exhausted, surrounded by darkness and deafening silence. Was this reality or just a trick? Had the blast of cannons so close deafened him or was he just someplace dark and quiet like a dungeon? Could he already be dead and this was the afterlife? Was this hell? If it was, then why did he feel so cold? His mind racing to try and remember what had happened and where he was and yet drawing a blank.

His head was throbbing as he opened his eyes to look around, his sight blurry like everything was out of focus. He must've been hit in the head pretty damn hard. Killian scrunched his eyes and took a deep breath, hissing at a sharp pain in his chest. Felt like he'd taken a beating. Opening his eyes again he tried to focus but every breath was a struggle like he was fighting against death with every inhale.
