An interesting aspect of Laudna and Imogen's relationship and how it has developed is the fact that they got together early in their campaign, long before either of them had any chance to work through their respective issues. Vax confessed his feelings for Keyleth early on (relatively so; c1 had been going for a while before it started streaming), but she explicitly turned him down at the time, and they didn't actually get together until she felt she was ready, later in the campaign. Percy and Vex didn't get together until after Percy had worked through his figurative and literal inner demons. Jester and Fjord didn't get together until he had moved away from Uk'otoa and his self-worth issues, and she from her romanticized ideas of romance. Yasha and Beau didn't become a couple until both of them had moved away from their self-destructive tendencies and Yasha had let go of Zuala and Beau of Jester. Caleb and Essek didn't get together until the epilogue, when Caleb finally let go of the past and embraced the future.

When Laudna and Imogen got together, Laudna was at one of her lowest points (and has since started digging), having just invited Delilah back in, and Imogen was (is) still struggling against the temptation of Predathos. While Imogen has since gone great strides in growing, Laudna has regressed, using her feelings for Imogen as an excuse to further give in to Delilah to protect her. She's too bogged down by her own self-worth issues to uphold a healthy relationship, and keeps hurting Imogen by hurting herself, not realizing how or why this upsets Imogen.

And I can't help but wonder, would Percy and Vex's relationship have been as destructive had they gotten together before or during the Briarwoods arc? Jester and Fjord if they got together during the pirates arc? Yasha and Beau if they got together before or just after Obann, when they were both self-destructing massively? Caleb and Essek if they got together while they were still low-key manipulating and honeypotting each other for information?

But even without the romance, Laudna and Imogen likely wouldn't have escaped the situation they're now in. They started out already kind of co-dependent, and remind me of Vax & Vex and Caleb & Nott in that way. But whereas the twins and Caleb and Nott's arcs had them learn to question each other and embrace love for other people rather than isolate themselves, Imogen and Laudna has only gotten more entrenched in each other's issues, and more unwilling to push each other to grow.

I saw a TikTok about this and some A03 fics inspired me as well.

It is about the eldest daughter being parentified by her parents towards her younger siblings.

Many fics portray Danny as much closer to Jazz as she is the one who raised him since their parents are so focused on their ghostly research, and even during crucial days like holidays are filled with arguments.

There are very few where I saw Jazz feeling motherly love towards Danny, doing things only a mother would dare to do for the sake of her child.

Danny was originally born as Danyal Al Ghul, the lesser twin of him and his older brother, Damian Al Ghul. Danyal has the softness that no Al Ghul should have, the innocence that seems to bloom within his heart that seemed impossible to grow under the harsh desert sand and discipline within their grandfather’s rule. He tried to open up to his twin, after all, they came together, so there must be something to be linked between the two brothers.

Yet it was naive thinking of him, it had met him a deep scar on his right cheek for such an act.

He also tried to reach out to his mother, surely the woman with whom he shared a connection both blood and flesh, and the woman who had carried him and his brother within her womb instead of the artificial womb that grandfather insisted for their development for future advantage.

He received nothing but a slap and an hour under intense torture that no toddler should ever experience.

He also tried to reach out to their guard, the guard with hazed eyes. Damian had immediately lost interest in their supposed guard but he stayed. He observed the guard found little things that he quite enjoyed with the guard, the nameless guard would hold the book as if reading but now actual movement reading, so he would occasionally sit on his lap and let him read a book and read it out loud, sometimes he would see him nod along or a slight twitch of his fingers or face.

He got attached to his guard, and despite being catatonic he still had the moves of a deadly fighter so Danyal began copying him, learning from him, every time he got as much as a scrape his guard would kneel and stare at the wound as if he could stare the injury away. It made Danyal smile as he knew that his guard was trying to make it better but knew nothing of how.

Under those glazed eyes Danyal heard him speak for the first and last time. It was another day for Danyal and his guard yet when he entered his chamber he was gone, leaving Danyal to care for his heart that had been broken for another time.

Slowly but surely he made a wall around his heart, he loved so much, he loved so much yet no one stayed for him. No one gave their love and devotion back to him. So he put up walls, so that his fragile heart that had been torn into pieces by those he gave his heart to, would never further break.

It was a normal day really, a small time group of assassins that had been absorbed by the League a long time ago held loyalty to their former leader who had been executed by Ra. In an act of revenge, the remaining assassins poisoned the two heirs of the Demon head and immediately killed themselves.

As Danyal lays down on the cold floor of their private chambers with Damian already unconscious he begins to wish, from the books he manages to read with his guard he learns of a legend, wish upon a star tell no one and your wish will come true, he began to wish for his next life for someone to love him with all his heart.

He was reborn, the moment he blinked his eyes he noticed that had regressed into a mere baby. He was born into a family of scientists, if he can call them that, ever spent most of their time tinkering away and discussing their l; latest project. It did not bother Danyal Daniel much as he had experienced firsthand how to be compared and be ignored in favor of your much in favor of brother.

But this time it was different, instead of being left behind by the older sibling she stayed. Jasmine or Jazz as she preferred, stayed and looked after him, which confused him for a bit, being the more favored sibling both by their parents and the desolate town around them, she could left him to fend for himself, but still, she stayed.

She read so many books that reached passed her height, about parenting and how to take care of a baby. It was all new to him that he didn’t know what to do with all of the attention and love that seem to radiant from his sister to him.

He saw some of his age group civilians see how they look at their guardians and parents and how said guardians/ parents would act towards them and made a realization that he finally found the one, the one where he could lower his walls and give his entire heart to, mother? Or father? Titles that whispered inside his head. Whenever he needed help she was there, whenever he was in distress she was there to comfort her. Each time she was there, both mother and father she had filled both roles despite having the opportunity to go away and be great using her intellect and own means she stayed just for him.

He physically fumbled and tripped at what to do with the amount of love that he could ever wish to have, not only that 2 more joined in loving and caring for him. Samantha Ingrid "Sam" Manson and Tucker Foley are friends who are with him through thick and thin, even at the moment of his death they were there.

To get back to them forever loving him, he defended the town where his precious people lived.

Ellie was a surprise he sometimes wished to have a younger sibling to care for, it may started rough but both are going somewhere. Then there is his older self from the future, he saw himself if he managed to lose the most important people in his life. Dan knew both in and out the things he kept secret and every thought he made, both made a slow and shaking bond but when something clicked within them, it was there to acknowledge.

It had been perfect, Daniel Danny’s life had been, a family that loved him it was all he ever wished for. If only Maddie and Jack never did discover who he was, being cut open and witnessing how your very insides move and twitch made even the hardened soldiers faint. Jazz’s scream echoed the deep lab that coated his blood at every nook and cranny.

The moment he woke up he felt nothing but dread, he was back….

Deep within the walls of the League, a lone boy let out a silent scream to the skies.

Danyal woke up three days after Damian woke up, He could not get into his head, he still retained the memories of when he was Danny, some scars that only Danny ever had yet it all felt like a dream, a haze and illusion that his mind had made. From that day on he began moving through the motion, without putting any life or force in each swing, being the good little soldier that all wanted. Slowly the light in his eyes was lost and if you were to observe him from afar you’d see an asset, not a boy walking through the motions of the day.

Ra was pleased, the tool that he had seen but a dull knife was slowly sharpening itself, while both Damian and Talia remained indifferent.

The twins were 10 when they were sent off to their father in Gotham.

Richard “Dick” Grayson immediately took a liking to Damian as he not only saw Jason in him but also a child that needed guidance, which was cemented when they all thought that Bruce had died, it was right then that moment when Dick ensured to be the guidance that Damian needed, all while leaving Danyal.

Jason tried to be closer to the demon brat but whenever he tried to initiate some of his old habits back when he was in the League and back when his mind was still hazy he was met with a sword in his face he thought that he was shy and kept on trying to connect with said baby brother, all while leaving Danyal.

Tim is reserved and becomes guarded when Dmain threatens him and cuts off his line, he also sets up expectations towards the silent twin who seems to be a wallflower most of the time but that doesn’t deter him, so when Tim and Damian begins working on a relationship, they just didn’t see the other twin that had been left behind again.

Bruce has many regrets in his life and when his biological kids appeared he swore to be there for them, it was when he was lost in the time stream that he promised himself to be more involved in all of his kid's lives, from Dick’s job as a cop in Bludhaven to Damian’s artwork at school. He made sure that he had the time for all of them, never repeating his mistakes, yet he also left Danyal behind.

Constantine is sweating, as much as he rather summon another bloody demon to deal with the problem at hand, he knows that even the strongest demons he could call forth could not defeat a denizen of the Realms. He already explained to the rest of the JL that only a denizen that is either equal or greater power can defeat whomever it is making the citizens of Metropolis depressed and being murdered left and right. As he drew the summoning circle to summon the strongest that could catch this call, he just hoped it was something he or the JL could pay.

As he activated the circle, large blue flames began to surround the entire JL base that are both cold and hot. He closed his eyes shit at the sheer intensity of this being’s raw power to the point every JL member from both Dark and Maine is pushed 5 feet back at the intense power when he opened his eyes to look at what kind of being he just summoned he immediately paled to the color of paper.

There she is, in all her glory, blue flames that flow down to her back, standing 8 feet tall carrying a javelin, she wears a stunning navy blue gown that combines elegance with a militaristic edge. The sculpted shoulders, embellished with gold-embroidered epaulets, gave her a commanding presence, while the fitted bodice embraced her figure with effortless grace. A satin belt with a gold buckle tightened her waist, and the A-line skirt fell just past the knee. Subtle gold accents traced the seams, giving the clothing a regal appearance. The garment, worn with tailored slacks underneath, gave her freedom of movement evoking the authority of an empress.

He just summoned the bloody Mother of the Infinite Realms, the mother of the prince of the Infinite Realms that defeated the tyrant Pariah Dark. He immediately prostates himself alongside the rest of the JL Dark realizing whom John Constantine just summoned.

The rest of the JL that remained standing looked in awe and caution at the being that Constantine managed to summon, as well as the rest of the JL Dark’s behavior towards the being. All sweaty and bowing in reverence. In the most polite tone they ever heard from the con artist he asked for their assistance in containing a rouge denizen and their payment for such an endeavor.

The being looked at each of them slowly, feeling their very instincts to bow at least at the being when they felt their eyes on them and ultimately paused on Batman. She pointed her weapon at the Bat cladded hero and asked him for him as payment, not anything that Constantine was thinking but hearing his skill as a great detective their payment was for Batman to look for her treasure that she had lost and at moment she had felt the moment they stepped into this universe. Batman agreed after they had smoothed over the details of said contract. The empress, Nightigale, summoned her knight and told him to deal with their denizen and toss them back into Walker’s prison.

Looking blankly at Batman, he had no choice but to let Empress Nightingale follow him back to the cave for her to foresee the investigation of her treasure and to ensure he fulfilled his end of the deal.

The moment Bruce stepped inside the cave he noticed Empress Nightgale had also stopped dead in her tracks and looked intently at his youngest, Danyal, who had been training at one of the cave’s training mats. What’s more interesting is that Danyal also stopped and stared at the visitor that Bruce brought along. Just as he was about the introduce the two, he saw Danyal the ever-quiet child sprung into life and tackled the empress, while Nightgale herself had her long arms wrapped around Danyal.

Bruce saw Danyal’s eyes spring into life, tears welled up in his eyes and a pure smile stretched across his youngest face. Suddenly Bruce felt Bane had punched him again, he had never seen his youngest so happy, so full of life ever since he met him. He always thought that his youngest was independent, so quiet that he had left him with his devices, somewhere within Bruce’s mind whispered that he was too late once again.

News about Danyal’s sudden change of attitude had reached all of the members, even in the deep corner of space.

Dick, Jason, and Tim are now seething with rage and disappointed at themselves for the wasted time they wasted in being Danyal’s life. Who has now an older sibling that despite his menacing appearance adored and teased Dnayal in a way that erupted laughs and giggles from the boy?

Dick forgetting that they were twins, Dick kept reassuring himself that he was too busy but with each memory that he visited Danyal is always right behind them looking at them with lifeless eyes, as if he had just made a different choice back then.

Jason for forgetting his ward that had adopted when he was in the League, probably the only thing that kept him sane as the green clouded in his mind when he was dunked in the pit was the fact his little chick was within the walls and the thought that he might hurt him halted his massacre.

Tim who had now noticed the small notes scattered on his desk that were not the handwriting of anyone he knew yet the initial DW, always assumed that it was Damian who was quietly helping him in cases but the revelation that it had been Danyal made him want to turn back time. He had noticed early on that Danyal wanted to be closer to him, but pushed the boy away for expecting to be like Damian.

Damian is seething with jealousy as he notices that Danyal begins spending most of his time outside with the demon that stole his brother. He kept bringing up to his father that the being that Constantine summoned was a demon already mind-controlled Danyal. But even though he cannot stop and drink in the joyful face that Danyal has whenever he is with Nightgale, he keeps remembering the time Danyal acted this way towards him.

Talia is also seething beneath her mask of indifference how dare this thing claim to be her son’s parent? It is not she who had given birth nor she is the one who ensured they both survive, but the fact that thing gifted Danyal the head of the Joker and her father’s head after revealing to her son her own father’s plan that even she is not privy on made her want to revive her father herself and be the one to end his pathetic life, how dare his father plan that horrendous ritual behind her back.

He rushed down the stairs to see his three favorite people cuddled together on the sofa, one kid in each of Jake’s arms, drooling on their dad’s sleep shirt, cartoons silently playing on tv.

They were fast asleep and Bradley took a moment to just take them in.

Their kids had inherited their tendency for wild bed heads from his husband and Bradley’s heart kicked in his chest with utter love at the picture his little family made, soft in sleep.

Once again, the love he felt for them threatened to make him choke up, it was that incredible.

He smiled, taking a mental picture before he tip-toed his way to the kitchen, getting a head start on breakfast and make coffee for him and Jake, for what was surely about to become another crazy day in the Bradshaw household.

Queen Bee has lost what little credibility she had at this point.

I'll start off by first calling out both Ozzie and Bee

Since that can easily be done together, they were pretty much the same character in mastermind but looking back on all we have got on these two, they're two sides of the same coin in general.

The last episode gave us some scenes with the sins we have met, we didn't get to hear from anyone new but Satan, it was his court but the alleged true boss was missing. Ozzie and Bee sat together and proved their allegiance and support of the defence, but not really.

They had fight in them to bicker with Mammon, much more than they had to speak up for IMP, even though they both initially spoke up in shallow defense of Blitzø and only Blitzø.

The fact that they were both quick to move on to an argument with their peer and quickly find entertainment in this spat dispite an execution going on that would not only go against their 'hangs out with the little guy image but upset their partners, also the little guys.

This indifference could easily show that those at the bottom of society truly mean nothing to them, they don't care, they may like the odd personality or two who is cute and looks up to them but so. This would actually make sense, they are leaders of the rings of hell, more than a business boss but world leaders and the residents of hell are customers who live and work to provide for them and act accordingly in their territory

but this won't be the case because they are 'nice' and being 'nice' they can't be ignorant or dismissive and if so l it's someone else's fault. So nice are they that they must love their mortal partners who were born the equivalent of yesterday to them.

Both Fizz and Tex had moments of insecurity and discomfort at the power imbalance of their relationships and where they stand

with Tex looking concerned at Bee's behaviour and what she could do to Loona who he kindly invited

and Fizz's lack of confidence turning out to be down to his fame being what lead him to Ozzie and without his brand where would thet be? Good question.

Both these characters got off to a good start, they spoke their agenda and were bothered by those who got in their way, Moxxie changed the tone and Ozzie had every right to eject him and Millie and Bee had every right to be bothered by a guest who was rude to her in her home, if the push to have them seem nice was relaxed, then these work as great powermoves rather than empty threat and their 'humblness' at having a club that's 'that place I wanted to go to' says a lowly imp and that party that anyone can get in, could be a manipulation to get lowest of classes comfortable which will equal profit. Makes sense. So far one character is safe to be doing this.

Now you see the parallels of these two and their matching situations, yet more can and has been done with Ozzie. Bee may be yet another female who needs a man for relevance.

The female curse

Mammon is better at Bee's sin than Bee. Greed and gluttony should mesh together well, gluttony is a major part of consumerism and that's a fact anyone can understand. But we can't have that because one is nice and the other isn't, even though this doesn't prevent Ozzie and Mammon working together.

Bee falls under the umbrella of outclassed females.

In breif

•Loona lives like a teenager and she's is spoilt by Blitzø who was good enough to adopt her, he also employs her, she knows transformation magic but how is unknown, we don't see her study, we don't see her taking phone calls, she is friendless and her interactions with IMP regress the episode after improvement

• Millie is given nothing to talk about, needs Moxxie and his perseved helplessness to show us her competence and now Blitzø is her bestie after one episode and credited for her life being what it is

• Barbie, edited out of her shared backstories with Fizz and her male lead character twin

• Verosika, a sucessful catch who got off lucky by getting robbed and abandoned by Blitzø reduced to bitter, petty and desperate ex

• Stella was the woman scored who's family and lifestyle just got wrecked, now just abusive wife, now doesn't even handle her own shit that's her brothers job

• Bel and Lev, they should be important characters yet they were introduced in silence, no speaking roles the whole episode yet the bird goatis guy talks

• dead mothers (or assumed so but it makes no difference) who didn't even get to speak in flashbacks, both major parts of their son's tragic background

I don't buy that it's a coincidence that the Bee is not shown enjoying being gluttonous in her own right AND happens to be in shape only for Mammon to be both gluttonous and fat upon debut. Yes, I'm sure there are merchandise reasons at play here yes misdeeds that should be Ozzie's have been ridiculously pushed onto Mammon too in order to have a bad guy, further proving Bee to be watered down Ozzie.

Crap vibes

The common defensive that Bee was disgusted by Mammon's gluttony because 'she picks up on good vibes' or 'table manners'

both are hopeless excuses because what's not good vibes about someone looking forward to their lunch break and enthusiastically eating a meal? Bee was the one encouraging her guests to eat, drink and enjoy a supersize, she wasn't watching how speedy and tidy they were in consuming and she is all for the depraved.

Another thing, she was quick to intimidate and threaten Loona and want to see the back of Blitzø, both for ruining the vibe, yet we didn't see people rushing to leave and there was nothing to tell us that 'good vibes' were something she imposed with subtle threat or they were just some young hipster standards and satire of PC.

We really could have seen Bee upkeep her flaky attitude by allowing Blitzø to get depraved as long as he was consuming (a lot like Mammon not intetupting Fizz's burn song because attention equal money) and it be Loona further proved right that this girl is a phoney and have her moment of looking for Blitzø without being prompted by an unlikely and irrelevant source. But no, Loona's rude anyway so her opinion on Bee doesn't matter, makes sense that she's jealous, there's enough reason to be.

Bee's shallow attitude and dismissal of what she doesn't want to roll with could easily be used for her own villainy, the power of toxic positivity, but no, she's reactive and what she enforces is unclear, yet again, what could be her thing has been done better.

ian and anthony are obvioulsy the dads but ian and amanda are giving two single parents who are each other's only other adult friends. and arasha and trevor are their children, respectively, of course. those two are giving playground antics and when paired up against anyone else they give teenager alliance. tommy and amanda are married, but tommy is the single wine aunt. amanda and angela are sister wives, angela and chanse are little sister and older brother who pretends to hate hanging out w her but loves it, angela and spencer are twins. spencer and alex are bros, spencer and kiana are besties, spencer and tommy are boyfriends (but in the same way girls who are friends call each other girlfreidns). arasha and chanse are a power duo. courtney and shayre are actually married (in real life outside the bit) and spencer is their third. however damien and shayne are an old married couple and arasha and courtney are newlyweds. amanda is married to both of them, but individually. the older less-regular cast (keith, olivia, damien, etc) are the older cousins who are young adults but regress when they're around their family. erin dougal is ian and anthony's child from their reconnection and courtney was their child from their first time together. shayne is trevor's older brother, but he's ian's little brother. but ian is trevor's divorced deadbeat dad who got partial custody in the divorce from mythical. but arasha and trevor aren't siblings, they're just two best friends who have known each other since diapers.

i just love these people sm and maybe im overly parasocial but i think a hug from a lot of these people would save me.

Age Regressor Anya Headcanons

Featuring regressor Daisuke and caregiver Swansea

🐇 She first learned about regression from Daisuke during one of the mandatory psych evaluations. She's heard it mentioned once or twice in medical school but she never really got the chance to think too deeply about it until now

🐇 The nurse side of her is the most interested so she asks him tons of questions which he's happy to answer. When things get hard to explain he starts bringing stuff that helps him regress to show her. His old Gameboy,the pens and papers Swansea gave him,even a plush Polle from the company

🐇 She takes notes for herself,at first watching on as a curious observer. But over time she realizes Daisuke trusts her enough to regress around her even after the evaluations. She thinks its a huge honor and decides to put the clipboard aside to engage with him

🐇 After a while she realizes she's not just passively watching anymore. She's coloring with him,taking care of "patient Polle" together,making tiny forts, and sneaking sugar packets inside them with him. It was the most fun she's had in what felt like years

🐇 It's a relief knowing she has a safe head-space to go to now,especially when Daisuke is with her. The two have become extremely close,both in and out of little space. They're practically twins when they're regressed together

🐇 With how much time they spend together now,Swansea eventually catches on and learns he now has 2 littles to take care of. Oh boy.

🐇 But he doesn't mind. It takes a while for Anya to regress around him but she does eventually learn to trust him and let him be her caregiver too

🐇 Daisuke is just so happy to have a sibby now,the two are practically glued to each others' hips. And Swansea is even more protective of his littles now that Anya's joined the picture. She's a bit embarrassed to admit it out loud,but she wouldn't give this up for the world

-Ford never expected to be a caregiver to two small children, nonetheless children that regress, but he takes it in stride. He loves his niblings and would do anything for them, so of course he’s more than willing to watch over and care for them, letting the two of them crawl into his bed when they have a nightmare or two

-He’ll ease them back to sleep with the more happy tales from his time dimension hopping, telling them how cute they looked in that baby dimension. He’ll pat their backs and brush their hair-trying to remember how it was his mother and then Stanley consoled him. They snuggle on his chest and pass out near instantaneously once he gets them settled

-He did feel overwhelmed at first, but he has Stanley to support him and calm him down. It helps that the twins don’t always regress together, though it’s more often than not

-Ford would be a less stern caregiver for the twins than Stanley would be. Surprising everyone, but this is the man who gave a 12 year old a crossbow

-He’s stricter with what they eat and when they sleep, but for everything in between Ford has more of a “all long as nobody gets seriously injured” mindset

-They need nap time and semi-nutritious food. Nap time isn’t hard, but it’s not easy. The twins, energetic on the regular, are hyperactive when they regress, if they could bounce off the walls, Ford bets they would. To get them to take a nap, he’ll try to tire them out but chasing them, but when that doesn’t always work, he’ll wrap them up tightly in a big blanket, lay them down with some pillows in the floor, turn down the lights, and either play a really boring black and white that would him to sleep or roughly hum an old lullaby he picked up from someone, scratching their heads to lull them to sleep

-He uses their nap time to get some alone time, decompress and to breathe from all the energy he had been surrounded with, Stanley looking over the twins to give him brother a break

-Food is…another issue. Ford can make a mean sandwich and pour juice and milk, he can put fruits and veggies on a tray with some cheese or dipping sauce, but he cannot cook. Not well and not palatable enough for two regressed tweens, if they want edible Mac and cheese or pancakes, it’s either they don’t get any and Ford’s at the wrong end of sad puppy dog eyes, or he’s asking Stanley to make them

-He won’t let them eat Greasy’s when he’s caring for them, he thinks it’s too unhealthy for such young children (and he had such a bad experience there he never wants to go back)

-It took some getting used to, caring for Dipper and Mabel when they regress, but he does have help in the form of Stanley, who’ll act as a babysitter if Ford needs to have his attention elsewhere for a moment or two. Ford also learned the basics of caring for children from Stan, though he has to modify it to fit in with the twins’ smaller ages

-It surprised him to find out that Little Dipper (so Ford’s nickname for him now) is more talkative than a Little Mabel. She does talk, but she’s quieter, more content to observe, unless you bring up a topic she’s super interested in. Dipper, however will go on and on about anything and everything. He is a “but why” little, which, Ford loves how inquisitive Dipper is, always wanting to know more, but at the same time, when he’s been asked “but why not?” 10 times in a row, he needs to steer the conversation to something else

-He tries to set individual little time with the twins so he can engage with them one-on-one, it’s in these cases that Stan will watch the other twin. He does arts and crafts and tea parties with Mabel, sometimes putting together Lego sets if it’s one she seems interested in. Sometimes they’ll just cuddle and watch a movie if that’s what she wants. He very much likes gossiping with her stuffed animals at the tea parties, spreading the most juicy inter-dimensional rumors.

-With Dipper, they’ll do puzzles, put together legos, and paint. Dipper loves finger painting when he’s feeling small, Ford doesn’t mind that he gets everything messy even with a smock on, his boy doesn’t look anxious or tired, his eyes bright and lacking their usual bags. If he starts asking too many questions, Ford may sometimes turn on a kid friendly documentary to keep him distracted

-Dipper and Mabel both love it when Ford reads to them, he gets so into the characters and get super dramatic, making them laugh and squeal behind their pacifiers

-They both have pacifiers, Dipper because he keeps chewing on his shirts, Mabel because she wanted to be like him, but actually really liked how soothing it is

-Dipper’s nickname is the Little Dipper and Mabel is Ford’s Meteorite. He thinks the names are cute, no matter how much Stanley may tease him about it

-No Mabel Juice when they’re little. Never again.

-Even when regressed, these two love to chase mysteries and go exploring, getting into as much mischief as possible with Ford’s eyes on them. He does allow them to go on adventures in Gravity Falls with him, but only if they’re kiddie friendly and he has to keep an eye on them at all times (Stanley’s rules). He only goes about 50 feet into the forest, which is plenty fun for them, they love running around and picking up every shiny rock and cool stick they find, sometimes wondering off too far if something catches their eye.

-Ford almost had a heart attack when he couldn’t find Dipper one day, looking everywhere, while holding Mabel in his arms, only to find him further in the trees arguing with a gnome

-The twins now have backpack leashes for when they leave the shack while regressed. It’s safer for them and makes it less liable that their Grunkle’s have a heart attack

-Ford loves his niblings, he doesn’t mind caring for them whatever their headspace may be. They’re both such caring and lovable individuals, it brings a pleasant ache in his chest to know that they care for him, trust him so much, that they allow themselves to be vulnerable like this around him. He loves his little family so much

(taking a really long drag off a cigarette) i know the joke is that osomatsu at 18 is the exact same as osomatsu current but didnt he seem angrier to you. just in general. i cannot imagine how teenage angst would hit you if you were also a sextuplet

like he was probably as carefree and stupid as usual with literally everyone else to be fair. but w his brothers it's like ough. i wonder if the "getting sick of the sextuplet schtick" hit him the hardest in HS. he's the only one who isnt visibly annoyed in the sleeping scene but he's also the one saying "why are there six of us?"

i thibk osomatsu has genuine qualms w being a sextuplet. we see him complain abt it to chibita in episode 2. i dont think they were totally unfounded or made up on the spot, that's stuff he was holding deep in his core

and i think esp in an environment like high school, and w being such an egotistical brat, oso wouldve started resenting not having his own identity just like the others. i imagine he wouldve channeled his clingy brattiness into being a nuisance to all of his peers. it's just that now, in adulthood, he literally doesnt have anyone else in his life, so his brattiness has fallen back onto his brothers.

ironic to how he is now, i think the "why are you asking me? that's your problem" response to totty comes from resenting the sextuplet status quo they'd established as kids of them expecting him to know what to do and expecting to follow his lead and having eldest brother expectations of him forever and ever. why do you assume we're going to be together forever? don't you know i'm going to make it out on my own in the real world?

it's interesting it was between totty and oso cuz it seemed like hs totty wanted things to stay the way they were the most. regressing and acting even more kid like. so to me oso saying that to totty specifically is a like "why are you expecting things to stay the way they were forever?" kind of thing

i feel like (inhaling more smoke) it's kind of like the fight at their grad ceremony kind of unlocked those revelations for them. we've just had the worst fight of our lives but at the end of the day we all have to take the same route home to all sleep in the same futon. we're going to be brothers no matter what. for better or for worse we're shackled sextuplets forever and ever.

Everything just kinda clicks because even though he hates it, they're stuck together. And he doesn't have any idea on what he's gonna do, he knows Totty doesn't know what to do, and it's probably easy for him to guess that the rest of them don't know what to do either. They're stuck together and none of them have a plan for the future besides that. i think oso was coasting by on this idea that "everything would work out somehow" (very oso-like) and this is the wakeup call that no, if left unattended, this is how your problems will fester

i also really often think about 18oso's reaction to finding out they're neets in the future. yes this is funny yes this is deeply sad but i also remember being really taken aback by it when i first saw it

like obviously after you think about it for 1.5 seconds like, yes, obviously oso didn't realize at age 18 that he was going to be a jobless bum well into his 20s. being a jobless bum wasn't what he had envisioned for his life. but juxtaposed with how carefree current osomatsu is with his life it really is funny to realize like oh, yeah, there was a point in time, most of their life really, where they thought they'd be something when they were adults

i think oso had always wanted his own identity like any other teen, but now that the only people left in his life as an adult are his brothers he's just clinging to his identity as niichan. but maybe this is the smoke inhalation talking

i think if oso had any other friends than his twins he would not be this annoying. but he doesn't

Can you imagine that's how Stan finds out that Ford regresses? 🥺

Without waiting for a proper response to his knocking he barges into Stanford's room, after all, Stanley is a man on a mission right now: Making sure his very intelligent but also knucklehead of a brother doesn't miss on a proper meal, which, could end up in two different ways.

Case one, he has to wake him up. Or at the very least get him conscious enough that he can get a bearing of his surroundings, and, hopefully, not feed the floor too much of his food.

Stan doesn't care if Ford ends up falling asleep on the table while he cooks something up for the both of them. He doesn't care if Ford blinks one eye at a time and eats even slower, which delays the task of washing the dishes and has him counting the stains on the ceiling for the next hour. And he certainly doesn't care if he has to guide or even carry Ford back to his room when he, inevitably, ends up falling asleep at the table again.

So long as he's not starving and overeating later, anything is fair game.

Case two, he has to convince him to get away from his work, which is never easy. And after having had a few arguments over eating (turned) cold hard food, bringing the meal to said room and leaving him to it isn't an option anymore.

They both know hot meals are a privilege, why waste it?

But they also know that the habits that once helped you make it to another day are hard to get rid of.

Stanley also isn't balancing the plate on his lap, either, when there's a perfectly fine table in the kitchen. Thank you very much.

He complains, mostly to himself, no doubt, about how he can feel his stomach disintegrating due to not having put anything in it--never mind the fact that he merely woke up minutes ago--but stops abruptly when he's inches away from the end of the bed-couch. And with a hand still hovering above the covers, he finally takes in the scene before him.

His brother, the interdimensional criminal, certified badass, owner (and creator?) of a hundred spacey-looking guns and the man that went through hell at the hands of a yellow demon--who Stan also wishes he could turn into his personal punching bag to use until the end of times--and still got out alive, with most of his sense of self intact, even, was sleeping with a goddamned plushie of half his height.

And with a dark blue pacifier in his mouth.

Oh, he's so not letting dear ol' Sixer live this down any time soon. He rubs his hands together while a mischievous grin appears on his face at the mere thought of a few remarks and jokes he could do.

After all, Stanley is not going to miss the chance to expand his arsenal of things to tease Stanford with. I mean, c'mon, he looks utterly and completely adorable! What's Stan to do? Ignore it and break the sacred sibling's code? Blasphemy in its purest form, he says!

Plus, the guy looks pretty relaxed too, a whole change from the usual deal. And vulnerable, which, did also differ a bit from the usual.

Hm.

That last thought brings his previous scheming and snickering to a sudden halt. He takes a seat on a free spot on the couch, careful to not touch the sleeping man at his side, suddenly overwhelmed with the need to let the peaceful atmosphere continue. Maybe even keep it from being disrupted.

Yeah, he could do that.

Because at last, Ford hadn't woken up at the slightest sound, and started pacing as if he hadn't been asleep moments ago. At last, Ford didn't seem to be fighting for his life when he was supposed to be the most relaxed, according to normal people (and verified by his fellow nerds). At last, Stanford hadn't jumped out of bed and taken the stance of a threatened wild animal when his brother, his twin, Stanley, entered his space. Something that he seemed to have learned for survival purposes--which Stan can also relate to--and that he doesn't really fault him for, yet that it came with a price when people close to you were involved. Hurting them one way or another.

Which, speaking of, he isn't sure if Ford would take kindly to him knowing about... This... That he does.

Stanley doesn't think anything about it. Really. Specially since it seems to be so effective on helping Brainiac sleep for once. And it appears to be harmless, so, who cares? Not him, that's for sure. But, if Ford had wanted him to know, he would've spoken or at the very least mentioned it, right? Back on the boat, there were nights where they slept on the same bed due to old not-so-happy memories resurfacing, or even just nightmares involving either them or the other, and they could use the reassurance that everything was and is okay and also that the other was safe and relatively healthy (some habits did start to catch up with them and did not mix well with the old man problems. (Cursed be the nicotine manufacturers on Stan's case)).

Did Stanford need it then and there but abstained from it to not seem "weird" in his brother's eyes? Please! Stanley ran a business in Gravity Falls for 30 years, for Moses’ sake!

Surely he knows that the jokes he throws at him are just harmless banter and that he never means it as a genuine attack, right? He must know he wouldn't judge him for something like this, right? Jeez, Pointdexter, I wouldn't hit you so low. Stanley thinks. Not again, never again.

Were it not for the--quite painful--pang and literal growl of his stomach, Stanley would have continued studying his sleeping brother and thinking about how to approach the topic. If at all. But alas, he's needed somewhere else. Somewhere with fresh food. And maybe coffee.

As gently and slowly as he sat down, he gets up, but freezes mid-way through when the still figure decided to not-be-so-still anymore. His brain scrambles for a way to book it out of there without making a sound while his heart beats in his ears. Finally, when he sees that Ford was definitely still asleep, and that he also feels his soul come back to him, he gives the rest of his body permission to continue working as usual. His lungs being the first to get back into action with a big release of air and subsequently an intake.

He glances back at his brother with a soft smile one last time before deciding to take his leave.

Stanford can have his secrets. Stanley would make sure to guard and protect them (and him). Ford didn't have to know that Stan knew, if that's what he had wanted in the first place. Stanley could keep his mouth shut.

Besides, it wouldn't be lying if it was never brought up. Nothing for him to deny, so, Stan is on the clear here.

BB! Dogday is slowly getting use of having his legs back but at the meantime he’s crawling

BB! Catnap‘s got a cream to heal him with his burns {his fur‘s growing back}

BB! Dogday likes to wear overalls, BB! Catnap usually wears oversized long sleeves shirts while their mini! Selves wears Onesies in partner look {their BB selves are also in on it}

Their fav show is "the bear in the big blue house"

BB! Dogday calls the Player : Mama, mommy or mx/er. Angel. BB! Catnap calls them : mama. Both mini! Dogday & catnap calls them : mx/er. Player

BB! Dogday & mini! Dogday & mini! catnap missing doey very much and the player tries to comfort them, even making a plushie/ clay figure of doey {but it’s hard for everyone to see toys in the same way again}

It took time for BB!Catnap to trust the Player {especially nearly being k!//3d by his savor}

Every Bed/Naptime he lets BB! Dogday, their mini selves {& the player} on his back while he’s resting

They all got a box with their Agere gear, including pacifiers & teethers

While regress BB!Dogday is super verbal he likes to chat about many things, BB!Catnap is mostly non-verbal but talks a bit while mini! Dogday & Catnap are semi-verbal

All of them loves to listen to lullabies from the player

In a room in the player‘s house is their personal playroom, there’s a makeshift indoor playground for the little ones, especially for the mini! Dogday & Catnap, there’s also a playground outdoors in the garden when all of them wanted to get some fresh air

The player calls them : dears, loves, little puppies/kittens, Sunshine, starlings/starlight, little ones, baby, moonshine, cupcake & kiddos

Warm tea & milk helps the little ones to sleep since BB!Catnap doesn’t want to use his red smokes

BB!Dogday‘s fav food are apple slices with peanut butter & BB!Catnap‘s fav are yogurt with smashed berries

Mini! Dogday & Catnap doesn’t have any favorite because they’re already grateful for having something to eat but they hate raisins and dates

Each of them have their own sleeping places/ beds

The player lets them sleep with them when they got nightmares

It‘ll be a long way to heal but they all getting through this together

"I blamed myself."

Ford paused mid-sip of his evening coffee and raised a brow at Shermie. He made a motion with his hand for Shermie to elaborate.

Shermie sighed.

"I...well...do you remember when you and Stan...the month of the science fair..." Ford's eyes widened.

Surely Shermie didn't mean...Ford and Stan did their best to hide their ...disagreements (fights, they were fights- they didn't think the were fights then but looking back it was clear Stan and Ford were fighting)

Sure, Ford and Stan didn't yell at one another. Not like Ma and Pa.

Never like Ma and Pa, it was scary enough before Shermie, they had no regrets staying up late to make sure little Shermie slept soundly through the night.

Ford thought Shermie didn't notice. Hell, he and Stan didn't even notice, not until the night Stan snuck into the school, only then did the older Pines twins realize they'd been silently fighting with each other the entire time. One brother chomping at the bit to leave, the other stubbornly trying to keep everything the same, clinging to what was safe and familiar because he didn't want to be left behind.

Ford thought Shermie was too young at the time. He wouldn't notice, there was no way he could have noticed, not after Ford and Stan did their best to shield Shermie from the mess that was their family.

...and a small part of Ford didn't want to acknowledge the fact that despite his best efforts, Shermie didn't get out or Jersey unscathed.

He didn't want to acknowledge that he failed to protect both of his younger brothers.

"I used to ask mom why you and Lee Lee seemed to be aging backwards," Shermie continued. "She could never give me an answer."

"Aging backwards?" What could Shermie have meant by that? Was it-maybe he also sensed Ford trying to pull away while Stan wanted the three of them to stay together. Maybe it was how Ford and Stan's tempers grew shorter and shorter as the science fair grew nearer.

Or maybe Shermie was referring to how he was practically abandoned by his older brothers. Ford read less and less to him, focusing more on academic pursuits. Stan spent more time working on the Stan-o-war and now that Ford was older he was starting to see how confused little Shermie must've been back then.

Shermie went from having two doting older brothers to primarily spending time with Ma because Ford and Stan were stubborn fools who got too lost in their own heads-

Instead of voicing the thoughts running through his head, Ford asked what Shermie meant by saying he blamed himself. Shermie fiddled with his hands and looked to the side.

"Shermie, hey," Ford said, reaching to place what he hoped was a comforting hand onto his youngest brothers shoulder. "Why would you blame yourself?"

"Whose blaming who?" A familiar gravelly rasp asked. Ford didn't have to look up to know it was his twin.

Stan had walked into the living room with a bowl of popcorn in his hands, curiously glancing between Shermie and Ford. "We pinning something on someone? Look, if a cop asks ya something you got the right to remain silent."

Ford groaned, momentarily forgetting his concern towards Shermie thinking he was to blame for Ford and Stan's falling out. "Two out of three of us having...history with the law is enough for this family."

"Could make it three. What do ya say Sher-bear? Wanna pull a heist with your big bros-"

"Was it my fault?" Stan's mouth snapped shut. He raised a brow at Ford. "What's he blaming himself for?"

Ford shrugged. "Us aging backwards, apparently."

"What, like...damn, what was the word Mabel used again? Started with an 'R,' apparently a lot of older siblings do it?"

"Regression," Shermie quietly supplied. "She was studying about age regression tendencies for one of her classes." Stan snapped his fingers. "Right, that! Wait, hang on. I don't think we regress. DO we regress, Ford?"

"Hey, don't ask me," Ford said, hand not holding his coffee raised. "We had the same childhood, we're biased." Although, compared to Dipper and Mabel, Ford was slowly beginning to see maybe he and Stan were...for a lack of a better word, lacking in the emotional maturity department.

Okay, so maybe some research on emotional-regression could potentially be beneficial. Not that Ford would ever admit that out loud.

Ford set his cup on the t-rex skull table and took a seat on the floor, looking up at where Shermie sat on Stan's armchair. "Wait, why would it be your fault?"

"Yeah, you were a kid," Stan chimed in, setting the popcorn bowl beside Ford's mug. "Why would how we turned out be your fault?"

"Didn't I steal your childhood?" Ford blinked at Shermie. "...Huh?"

"I-so much of my childhood was just you two and Ma. If Ma wasn't around, I'd always go to you two. I went to you two when I was hungry, when I wanted a toy, when I wanted to do something for my birthday-"

"That's just us being your older brothers," Ford interrupted. "We chose to do that."

"Did you ever do anything without thinking about me first? Truthfully, did you ever head out on one of your adventures without making sure Ma was home first?" Ford exchanged a glance with his twin again.

"...Yes?" Stan hesitantly answered. "I mean, it's not like we...always...we totally...huh."

"Huh?" Ford echoed.

"...Okay, fine, so yeah we may have tried to make sure you at least had it kinda better than we did. But you were our baby brother, Shermie, you needed Ma, and us, and all that squishy mushy affection stuff."

"I still don't understand why you think us possibly regressing is your fault," Ford added. Shermie sighed again.

"Regression happens when a person doesn't get to fully experience childhood. This results in the individual adopting habits or interests that they should have had growing up."

"What, so you think because, and again, we chose to, help mom out with you, it's your fault our brains wanna do stuff we shoulda done as kids?"

"Normal childhoods don't involve learning how to build toys for your younger brother, Stanley. Normal childhoods don't worry about your younger brother not having a lunch for school, normal childhoods don't involve saving your allowance to get a cake for your younger brother's birthday while ignoring your own birthdays-"

"We chose to do all of that," Ford repeated his earlier statement, not wanting to hear his youngest brother blame himself for what he perceived as robbing Ford and Stan of their childhoods. "We chose to help Ma look after you- Stan and I even promised Ma that we would protect and look after you. You didn't take anything from us."

"But-"

"Shermie," Stan cut him off, "You were, what, Mabel and Dipper's age when shi-shiitake mushrooms hit the fan?"

"Niblings aren't here," Ford reminded.

"Oh, right. Ha, force of habit. Anyway," Stan continued with a wave of his hand, "Our issues? And our brains being weird? That's on Pa."

"But-"

"Stanley's right, Sherman. Pa should have stepped up to teach you, that shouldn't have fallen onto us. That was Pa's fault."

"And we were just in a crummy financial situation. Also not your fault, now quit blaming yourself and eat your popcorn," Stan muttered, scooping the popcorn off of the table and plopping it onto Shermie's lap.

Ford nodded in agreement. "You didn't force us to do anything, Shermie. Pa should have stepped up, and when he didn't we did. Nothing about us is your fault, okay?"

"...okay."

"I know you don't actually think it's okay," Ford said, "And that's alright. Stan and I will just keep telling you it's not your fault until you believe it."
