Something that disturbs me to no end, but I never see it being talked about is Jimmy beating Curly up in his mangled state. It's so sickening. Jimmy is so quick to anger and violence that he can look at someone in a state like the one Curly is in and feel anything other than guilt and pity.

The worst thing is that he can feel guilty for his actions, but he just doesn't seem to think what he did to Anya is bad enough to feel guilty about it which to me, indicates that he not only doesn't see her as a person but that if the Tulpar hadn't crashed, I think he literally would've gone as far as to murder her. Her life means nothing to him, and he would not hesitate to end it if it keeps him from taking responsibility.
