Your immune system is getting enough of a workout even if you wear a mask
For those of us who are still wearing masks to reduce the spread of diseases like covid-19, if you're like me, you've probably heard or been told some variation of "Your immune system is use-it-or-lose-it" or "a strong immune system is one that is regularly exposed to things" or whatever. It's scary, being told that protecting yourself from diseases short-term might weaken or destroy one of the core systems of your body long-term!
But there are a lot of reasons this is nonsense, starting with the fact that it's an idea which comes originally from antivax eugenics thinkers, so I'm not going to go into all of the arguments against eugenics and antivax thinking here. What I will instead say is that it demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of how human life works. So, for those of you who wear masks and are vaguely worried that your immune system will get decrepit because of it (or, for those of you who WOULD mask if you didn't think it would somehow weaken your immune system long-term), listen up.
If you don't wash your hands every single time you use the bathroom (yes, every time) your immune system is getting a workout.
If you don't regularly disinfect all of the countertops, doorknobs, light switches, and other commonly-touched surfaces you interact with, your immune system is getting a workout.
If you don't regularly disinfect your phone, keys, wallet, and other things you touch a lot while out and about, your immune system is getting a workout.
If you kiss people, especially on the mouth, (or if you do other more intimate things to them with your mouth), your immune system is getting a workout.
If you have certain types of acne, your immune system is getting a workout.
If you have pets and you don't wash your hands every time you touch them, your immune system is getting a workout. (Especially if you kiss their cute lil heads, your immune system is getting a workout.)
If you have kids or are around children regularly, your immune system is almost certainly getting a workout.
If you receive packages in the mail and don't disinfect them before touching them, your immune system is likely getting a workout.
If you don't actively disinfect fresh fruits and vegetables after buying them from the store (rather than just rinsing/scrubbing them), especially if you eat them uncooked, your immune system is likely getting a workout.
If you have allergies, your immune system is getting a workout probably way more frequently than you would wish.
Plus a hundred other small parts of daily life that are the same!!
My point here is that there are SO MANY WAYS that you're constantly being exposed to things that your immune system reacts to in big and small ways that you have an active immune system no matter what. You don't need to be afraid that you will get weak or whatever if you protect yourself and other people from the spread of airborne diseases by wearing a mask!

small observations for people who are just starting testosterone HRT
If you suffer from chronic fatigue, chronic illness, or mental illness, you may notice that your energy levels dip down very low after first starting T. this is due your body needing extra energy to process the extra hormones, not anything long lasting. after your body adjusts, this fatigue will go away, and you may actually find that you have way, way more energy now
Beards love to be patchy and mustaches love to be invisible or nonexistent at first. if your beard is patchy at first, or if you just can't grow a full mustache, this is also normal. it can take years of testosterone HRT for beards to become full, especially if you had low T to begin with. moisturizing your beard regularly can help reduce this, and also any potential itchiness from being too long. beards will get itchy for many if they get long.
The acne (should) go away after your body adjusts, and you will not be greasy forever. you will find that your natural body odor smells different, though. this lasts as long as you are on T, as far as i'm aware for most people, but it's only noticeable for me when i get very sweaty after a lot of exertion, or illness.
You may find after you adjust that you have generally a bit more stamina or ease with starting up or adjusting to new physical activities after you've adjusted. it may be easier for you to work out now because you don't become fatigued as easy, for example, or you may find it is easier for you to put on muscle density.
The mood swings will calm down in time- they are most severe right after you start T, and then taper down as your body adjusts. it doesn't turn you into a "rage monster". you just go through normal pubescent moodiness. it's manageable, especially if you have good coping skills like physical activity, journaling, or art while stressed.
Libido goes either way, i've noticed. many people see a huge spike in libido at first, sometimes it stays for a long time, other people don't notice any change whatsoever. also, T for most people will not change what gender or type of person you are attracted to, however it can change how you view yourself in relationships and lead you to changing your identity labels, or questioning things. it generally doesn't make people change their identities overnight, though
Periods do stop for the vast majority of transmascs. it can take a long time, but they do stop if your doseage of T is right for you. if yours haven't stopped and you do not have reproductive health issues, you likely just need a higher dose to see this effect.
Breast tissue reduces in density when higher levels of testosterone are in the body, so it is very likely that you will see your breasts become flatter or even "Deflate" a bit. this is entirely normal. my chest has been like this my entire life due to very high T from hyperandrogenism & intersexuality
Balding can definitely happen, but this is generally only if you have a genetic predisposition to it. i have actually not seen many transmascs bald, although for many of us, our hairlines do shift upwards, but it's not noticeable unless you compare how you look now to older pics of yourself, and generally it takes years for your hairline to migrate anyway, which is natural for AMAB people later in life anyway. even if you do bald, you can speak with your prescriber and have access to medications to help with balding. it's not the end of the road and many respond very well to medication.

M A S T E R L I S T
for losing as much as possible in a short amount of time (cuz we are all desperate), from me - a biotechnologist, who relapsed (the demons never leave)
the tips i am about to share with all my girliepops are all based on science and work; if you have any other tips, feel free to share in the comments, so we can have all the tips in one place!
• eat your meals from smaller sized plates, to trick your brain you are eating more
• cut up your food into small pieces
• chew every bite at least 10-15 times, until it is a purée consistency; this way you will be eating slower and give your brain more time to realise you are full
• sip water with a lemon slice between your bites
• focus on eating vegetables and protein, limit carbs
• drink a lot of water, and I mean a lot
• add lemon slices to your water to make it have some flavour; also the lemon juice in water before your meals will help reduce the glucose spike => less insulin released from liver => less absorbed glucose from carbs/sugars/starches => less fat on your body
• move for 10 mins right after eating - walk, do calf raises, some light movement so all the glucose can be used before getting stored as fat on your body
• drink tea - green tea, detox tea, whatever tea, without a sweetener
• do not drink diet sodas/colas - or any kind of liquid that is not water/tea - these are useless calories, why would you do that to yourselves?! even if it says 0 cals - this s#it is so bad for you, and the carbonation makes you feel bloated like a god damn whale! ditch the diet sodas girliepops
• implement some kind of movement every day - walking, pilates, yoga, dance workouts, resistance bands workouts or stretching
• do not weigh yourself everyday - due to hormones our weigh fluctuates every day and this will just make you feel bad if you lose and gain 1-2 legs everyday depending on your menstrual cycle, water weight and so on.. weigh yourself every 2 weeks.
• do not drink fruit juice - this is such a scam; hear me out: how many oranges does it take to make 1 glass of orange juice? around 3. can you eat three whole oranges in one sitting? i bet no. then why would you drink 3 oranges? when you make fruit juice, all the fibre and the pulp is removed, leaving you with just the juice with all the sugar in it (in the form of glucose and fructose) so you are basically drinking pure sugar, which turns into fat… just eat your damned fruit, instead of drinking a bunch of empty calories
• take red cranberry supplements - they are usually taken for UTIs, but the red cranberry has diuretic effect, and will make you pee your water weight out; please do not take more than 2 pills and remember to drink plenty of water so you don’t damage your kidneys!!!!
• take probiotics - this will ensure your gut health stays good while restricting foods, so you don’t end up constipated and bloated
• i personally do not eat dairy products (i am lactose intolerant) - they are full of hormones from the cows, give you acne and inflammation, and the protein in it is not worth it considering the amount of fat these products have; skip the dairy if you can
• if you drink a lot of coffee, remember to drink plenty of water! coffee has a diuretic effect and if you are not drinking more water, it will make you retain whatever water is in your body, leading to water weight gain
• if you end up binging, do so mindfully - do not give in to all the food, just have a piece of chocolate, not the whole chocolate bar; have a piece of cake, not the whole cake; then get back on track and try to exercise as much as possible to burn the excess calories
• i think this is obvious but let me say it just in case - in order to lose weight, you have to be on a calorie deficit - meaning you burn/use more calories than you consume; but!! here is the trick - you have to maintain low calorie diet, do not ⭐️ve for more than 2 days, as this will f#ck up your metabolism - your body goes into fight or flight response, meaning everything you eat after f4sting will remain on your body as a reserve of food, in case you end up ⭐️ving again; so have your veggies and protein (chicken breasts, white fish)
• keep yourself busy so you don’t think about f0od - study, work, read books, journal, whatever it is, your day has to be full of activities do you can forget to e4t
• reject offered food - say you already ate / yr not hungry / you are allergic to some ingredient / you have a bad migraine and this will make it worse / or take the food and say you will have it later and just give it to someone else (pls don’t throw in trash, do not waste food)
• when eating with family / boyfriend - place food in a smaller plate, cut up food into very small pieces and eat very slowly and chew every bite for a long time, sip water between every few bites, then say you are full and cannot eat anymore / that you ate a bit earlier and yr full
• when eating, eat your veggies first, then your protein and eat the smallest amount of carbs - always leave leftover carbs in your plate
• do not eat any snacks - no cereal bars, no cereal, no chips, no crisps, no crackers, no salty sticks, just do not eat snacks!
• if you feel like eating - drink water first, then have veggies (cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, radishes, etc) or fruit (apples, citrus, any kind of berries)
• if you are having breakfast - always eat a savoury breakfast - eggs, avocado, veggies etc; never eat a sweet breakfast - cereal, croissants, pancakes, etc, this will spike up your glucose levels and all that sugar will turn into fat; a sweet breakfast will make you feel tired and exhausted all day, leading you to eat more
• wear a waist trainer - do so for no more than 8hrs a day; this will also help you have smaller portions of food, as it won’t allow your stomach to expand
• do not purge - this is very bad for your teeth and overall health; the stomach acid is very strong and every time you purge, your teeth are getting damaged; just don’t overeat in the first place and have self control!

OPTIMISING THE SLEEP + MAXIMISING YOUR BEAUTY
This post is all about how to optimise your sleep and beauty at the same time <3 I hope everyone can use at least one tip today and apply it to their sleep routine.
Have a sleep schedule
it is ideal for us to sleep at the same time, and wake up at the same time everyday. This is so our bodies are producing what we need at given times, and healing us of any injuries without interruption + strengthening our circadian rhythm(regulates our alertness and sleepiness)
Create a good sleep environment
Before you go to sleep, make your room clean and wipe off any excess dust, a cluttered room makes for a cluttered mind. Turn off all lights and close curtains. Having a good sleep environment allows our body to shut down more easily.
Avoid caffeinated drinks and high sugar drinks before bed
Caffeinated drinks should not be consumed 4-6 hours before bedtime possible, which does include soft drinks. It keeps you alert, which causes trouble for your sleep. Sugary drinks before bed reduces the quality of your sleep.
Have time to wind down befor bed
Don’t do any high focus activity, or high intensity exercise before bed. Our body and minds need time to release the stresses and excess energy from the day. Reading, mindfulness, disconnecting from social media, journaling are some things we can do.
Avoid doing high focus activities, exercising and eating in your bed
Your brain should only associate your bed with sleeping or relaxing, or else it makes it harder for you to go to sleep easily.
Minimise naps during the day
This can contribute to any sleep complications, if you really do need to nap, keep it under an hour.
Sleep on your back
Sleeping on your side or stomach can cause asymmetry in your face. Plus, allowing your face to touch your pillowcase can cause acne because of bacteria.
Use a sleeping mask
Blocks out most of your sight, minimising the distractions in your sleep. Make sure it’s a comfortable one which you wash regularly, or it can cause acne.
Sleep using a silk pillowcase
Pure silk can be very beneficial for your skin and hair but also minimises the skin pulling on our faces.
Wash your face before snoozing
The excess residue and dirt on our face transfers to our pillowcase, which we use the next day and causes acne. + an unwashed face can lead to breakouts.
Sleep with a humidifier
For my dry skin girlies, a humidifier allows for your skin to stay moisturised during your sleep, to wake up to bright, glowing skin. This is really recommended, as we are getting into winter.
Brush your teeth before bed
This can help remove any prior food particles, protect from any bacteria and regularly doing this limits the ability for plaque to build up + bad breath is minimised in the morning
Use an overnight moisturiser
For my dry skin girlies, again, using a good overnight moisturiser can help keep your skin glowing throughout the night.
wearing a bonnet
Reduces having tangled, messy hair in the morning and protects your hair from too much friction. Silk/satin ones are recommended.

i'm immortal, i can wait
PJ!Apollo x F!Reader
summary - Apollo has loved you since he first saw you, but he's had to wait several years before he could make such a confession. Especially since you're the child of his scariest uncle, Poseidon.
warnings - Apollo is his own warning. that and his haikus, also i am KEEPING JASON ALIVE in the Trials of Apollo part of this (curse you Rick)
He met you in person when you were fourteen.
Westover Hall, you had been summoned to collect two demigod kids with your brother Percy and friends Annabeth and Thalia. The mission turned sour, Annabeth was kidnapped, and Artemis saved the day before calling him to give you all a lift back to camp.
Both of you could remember how red your face turned when you'd seen him, and he wouldn't tell you but he'd heard you talking about how hot he was with Thalia. It boosted his ego (which quite frankly does not need any more boosting), and he was smug the whole ride.
"Percy, you never told me you had a sister!" He spoke so loudly the whole bus could hear him.
"Um, because we've never met in person?" You brother suggested, a little nervously. Apollo was pretty chill, but that made him even scarier.
The god of the sun just laughed, before turning to look at you. The way his eyes roamed your figure felt less-than-innocent, and your face flushed as you yet again turned a bright shade of red. You couldn't believe the Apollo, the hottest Olympian, was actually staring at you with interest. Like he found you pretty enough to be stared at.
"What's your name, sweetheart?" He smiled flirtatiously, earning some aggressive threats from the Hunters behind you, which he ignored. "Just kidding, I know it already. (Name), right? Pretty name."
You felt as if you might explode. From embarrassment, from being flustered, you didn't know. Maybe he was toying with you, as gods tended to do, but then he looked at you again and genuine interest and attraction glimmered in his stunning blue eyes.
"Thank you, Lord Apollo," you stammered out, unsure of what else to say.
"So shy," he teased, grinning, "Cute. I like you."
Of course, he had to restrain himself from charming you entirely, since you were still a minor. Poseidon would have his head if he touched you at this age, so he decided it was best to wait a few years.
Those few years were full of struggle and pain for you, losing so many friends in the battles with Kronos and then Gaea. Apollo almost intervened just to comfort you several times, but was stopped by his sister convincing him to give you a few more years - and also reminding him that the Olympians could not intervene.
But you grew into such a beautiful, smart, brave woman - and extremely sexy, but he would have to keep that to himself - and Apollo felt lucky to have watched this growth. It made his attraction to you all the more prominent, and he began to feel something he hasn't felt in centuries - genuine. true love.
And it scared him.
His past lovers that he had really, truly loved had both been killed in gruesome ways. He was afraid of what being with him would mean for you, but ultimately decided on getting Poseidon's permission first.
The god of the sea said no.
Then came his trials.
The first demigods he went to were you and Percy, of course. Since he was stuck with an infuriating little girl, he hoped that you might tag along on his perilous journey to make it a little better.
To his delight, you agreed.
"What's so funny?" He demanded when he caught you snickering during a break from all the running.
"You," you laughed, "Never thought the god Apollo would be reduced to an average teenage boy with acne." You laughed even more at that, and he pouted, but enjoyed hearing you laugh nonetheless.
His first sign that you might have a crush on him too came when he mentioned he'd turned some gossipers into ravens just for telling on his previous cheating girlfriend. The mere mention of his ex-girlfriend seemed to irritate you, and Apollo was amused.
Though his turn for jealousy came when he noticed how close you were to Jason Grace. He couldn't do anything, though, so he watched miserably as you got along with the son of Jupiter so well that any outsider would think you were dating.
"What's with the pout, then?" You had asked him when you noticed how upset he looked.
"I am not pouting!"
"Yes you are."
You stepped closer, and your intoxicating scent filled his nostrils. He felt like a schoolboy with a massive crush, just you being that close scrambling his thoughts and making it difficult for him to answer.
"Alright, keep your secrets," you laughed, then walked away, and Apollo was left disappointed.
He was not even going to talk about the whole thing with Reyna. You had suddenly gotten so angry with him after that, you hadn't spoken to him for two days - unless absolutely necessary. It hurt, but he knew you must have been even more hurt by what had been implied.
The end of the trials eventually came and relieved all of you, the defeat of the Triumvirate taking a great weight off the world's - and yours - shoulders. Apollo disappeared after he went to fight Python, and for two weeks you heard no word from him or Olympus.
Then suddenly he was in the middle of camp, spouting the worst haikus you had ever heard in your life. And that was saying something, since all his haikus were pretty terrible.
"Like captured water
You hold me in your cupped hands
I flow on your palm."
Your jaw dropped. That was even worse than you assumed it would be, especially since he chose to center it around the fact that you're a daughter of Poseidon.
"Lord Apollo-"
"See what I did there?" He winked, coming up to you with a cheerful grin. "Did you like it?"
"Well-"
"Fear not! I have another one prepared that is sure to woo you."
Your face flushed, "Please don't say "woo", your kids are listening!"
He was already reciting his next haiku.
"You shatter my sleep
All milk-need and petal lips
You smile and I melt."
You frowned in confusion, "What does that even mean?"
"Aha! See I knew that was the one!"
"I didn't-what?"
He ignored your puzzlement in favour of coming so close to you his overwhelming godly power almost made you pass out.
"I'm sorry I haven't been around for two weeks," he apologised sincerely. "I was in a coma. I swear on the River Styx that it's the truth. But I came here as soon as I woke up, for you." He grinned like that was the best confession he could muster.
"Are you serious?" You breathed out, unable to believe what you were hearing.
"Technically I wanted you when you were fourteen, but that would have come across as creepy apparently," he informed you, "So I had to wait a few years until you turned the right age. That was okay with me, I'm immortal, I can wait."
Your jaw dropped further, "Are you, um-is this-?"
"A love confession? Yes!" He gleefully exclaimed, as if it were perfectly normal for an Olympian to invade camp and profess his love for a demigod.
The entire camp was silent, except for the Aphrodite girls who seemed to be glaring holes into you while trying to curse you - fortunately only the Apollo kids (ironically) had the power to curse a person to speak in rhymes.
"And what did...what did my dad think of this?" You cleared your throat, slightly nervous.
"Oh he was against it at first," Apollo admitted, "BUT he came around. It seems the trials proved a lot more than I thought."
"Well, uh, that's great," you half-smiled, not sure why you felt a sense of dread. This should be the happiest moment of your life.
Apollo's smile faltered, "Do you not-"
"No I do!" You quickly cut him off, sparing him the embarrassment of being rejected in front of a few dozen kids MUCH younger than him. "It's just...you're a god..."
He sighed, "Let's go take a walk."
A few minutes later you were away from prying eyes, sitting by the lake since it always calmed you down. Water soothed you, as cliche as that is for a Poseidon kid.
"I'm just worried," you started after a few minutes of silence, "You know, about all your mortal affairs and having demigod children and all that." You sighed. "I know it's silly. But I just don't think I can go through with it knowing that."
He frowned, but understood, "I can always stop-"
You laughed bitterly, "All the gods promised a woman what. Zeus promised Hera, but there's Jason and Thalia. Poseidon promised Amphitrite, but here Percy, Tyson and I are. It's in your nature, you can't help it."
He felt offended by that, "Yes well, none of them had the displeasure of being turned into mortal for a few months. It changes a god, you know."
You turned to look at him, "Are you really sure about this? That this is what you want? I'm what you want?"
"I've waited for you since you were fourteen," he reminded you, "Of course I'm sure." Despite your reluctance, he took your hand. "Please, just give me a chance."
You thought it over for a moment, before smiling softly, "Fine. You have your chance. But the first mortal affair you have-"
"I won't need them," he smiled, moving closer, "You can have all my children."
Your jaw dropped at his blatant suggestion, a deep blush forming on your cheeks, "Are you crazy?! I can't-"
"You can," he leaned in even closer, "Once I make you immortal."
You started stuttering and stammering just then, uttering some kind of incomprehensible nonsense that the god of the sun just laughed at. He pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead, before finally leaning in and claiming your lips.
He had waited long enough, now he was going to kiss you every chance he got.

synopsis: your favorite thing to do when toji isnt home is to write smut of the two of you under the guise of other people, but what will he do when he finds out about it?...
things were definitely different when you were ovulating. acne, tender and easily overstimulated breasts, every part of your body that shouldn’t be swollen or aching was. though the bright side of this was being able to write your absolute best. being able to describe every word that was happening to ‘y/n’ brought a certain satisfaction to you that money couldn’t buy. not only was writing fun for you during this heightened period it was also a release for you being that your boyfriend, toji was out and about.
he was into illicit activities but it kept the lights on so you didn’t bother asking or complaining too much. he’d be gone for long periods of time and you knew he’d rip your clothes right off and tear you apart the second he stepped through the doorway, so at times you wrote in excess so you could at least upload regularly. once your spark was gone it was gone so leaving time to build up your sex drive and passion again wasn’t too terrible for you.
though tonight was different, you missed him so much you could barely think straight writing down the filthiest things that came to mind until you couldn’t type anymore, you needed a break and bad. you push yourself away from the desk feeling the chair roll you away from all your hard work, you turn and leave to the bathroom stripping off your clothes and overly soaked panties simply casting them aside as you start the shower water. you turn to the mirror putting your hair in a bun before stepping into the shower, closing the see-through glass panel and letting the hot water wash all over you.

you let the water wash all over you and once you see that not a single soapy sud is remaining you stop the water and hurry to the doorway walking down the hall and flip the switch on yet there’s nothing there. you let out a relieved sigh, it was just your imagination after all! you go back to the bathroom where you dry off and lubricate yourself slipping on one of toji’s old shirts before returning to your room.
you open the door to see toji manspreading on the edge of the bed his dark eyes looking at you full of lust. he had his phone out and seemed like he was in a trace until he looked up at you, “hey princess” his voice is deeper than usual and he smells like outside, “missed me?”. you suppose it wasn’t your imagination after all, observing his bulge as he creeps up to you, he was definitely the ‘someone’ watching you shower, though it kind of turned you on how much of a perv he was.
he placed his hands on your waist and pulled your small frame close to him, his hands roaming around your body and sniffing your neck, he plants a kiss near the end of your jaw before his lips make its way up to your ear, “this my shirt?” he asks as if he doesn’t know the answer, “it looks nice on you” he sinks again, burying rough kisses into your neck. you return the favor, hands grazing his hard chest and looking up at him, 100% ready to be used by him. “missed you toji”, you breathed wrapping your arms around him into a hug, “can you fuck me please?”
he chuckles, “look at you, usin’ your manners n all” his hand snakes its way to your face, admiring you while brushing his thumb across your cheek, planting a rough kiss onto your lips, you can taste a hint of mint as he slips his cold tounge around your mouth. his hand makes its way under your shirt and he squeezes your ass, his lips trailing their way from the corner of your mouth to your jaw, down to your neck. the warm air sending tingles down your spine. you’re completely in the moment until you turn your head to see that your computers still open.
“w-wait” you lightly pushing him off and he lets go, toji wasn’t very expressive but you knew he wanted to know why you stopped. “i need to save my work first”, your hands lightly graze his chiseled chest as if to say goodbye before walking over to your computer. “mmm, you started writing again?” he asks, making his way to the bed and lying back against the bed frame. “kinda” you answer, you make your way back to him and lie against his chest, he wraps his arms around you and kisses behind your ear.
“can i read it?”. your heart nearly freezes over, toji knew that you wrote but he mainly read your poems or your think pieces, not smut. you honestly didn’t even know how he would take it, a part of you was a bit embarrassed. “i don’t think so toji” you said while rubbing his arms, “aren’t you kinda tired anyways?”
“’m never too tired for you, pretty girl”. he always knew just what to say to get you going, “ok but promise not to laugh”, you turn to look at him pinky finger extended towards him. he smiled and wraps his around yours, kissing your pinky. “now show me” he demanded, you reluctantly grab your phone as you feel him pulling apart your legs. the tips of his fingers run along the insides of your thighs, causing your body to tense up and your stomach to flutter. you open AO3 and titles start rolling by: ‘brat taming’, ‘mating press’, ‘doggy-style’. he slowly moves his right hand to your clothed core, barely grazing by your clit at an unbelievably slow pace until he sees a title that catches his eye: ‘fingering’.
“read that one”, you tap on it and audibly gulp, “d-do i have to?… out loud?”. he gives you a sly smirk and huffs at your pouting bringing his face down to your ear, “don’t act all shy now, ya weren’t shy when you wrote it”, his low husky voice sent shivers down your spine. you clear your throat, feeling your face heat up and your throat dry. “h-he starts slow, moving your p-panties to the side.”
his movements match that of what you’re reading, “go on” he urges. the heat of his hand pressed against you like a warm cloth, “his index and ring split your puffs apart to reveal your marble, his middle finger starts slow at your s-slit before he lightly massages it in c-circles”. by this point your face was burning and your legs were shaking, you so desperately wanted to give into toji was giving you but you caught onto what he was doing. “this is stupid” you mumble
“hm? i didn’t catch that princess” he says while sneaking two digits into your heat, “the next line is: his fingers sink in and out and in and out”. shattered breaths escape your mouth, your nails sinking deep into toji’s pant leg, “i didn’t say stop readin’” he purred, his left hand pushing apart your quaking thighs, it took you a minute while you frantically looked for the line toji skipped to. “h-he curls his fingers, hitting your - my god toji”, he was making it impossible for you to finish your sentences, his fingers moved in deep, strong, strokes.
you look down and see your slick building up at the ends of his fingers, the palm of his hand kissing your clit as he picks up the pace. you can hear yourself squelching and making an absolute mess all over him, so much so you haven’t even realized he’s started reading again. you only realize when his left hand reaches for your neck, forcing you to look up at him causing a whine to escape your throat. the split on his mouth stretching as he smiles at you, “yeah? you like that?” he coos, “want me’t keep going?”.
you nod with a pleading look in your eyes, you wanted so much more than this. “say it”, his fingers plunged faster and deeper knowing full well that the end was near. “please” you choke out, “hm? use y’er fuckin’ words slut” he grunted, by this point your entire body was a broken, twitchy mess the second you try to say anything more than please your legs seize as your chest reaches forward, you could feel every nerve in your body responding to toji’s touch and it didn’t help that his eyes were burning right through yours. he held you down, thrusting deeper until you reached your release, intently watching as you pathetically rut up against his hand.
as you climb down from your high toji brings your attention to the soaked mattress underneath you. “messy girl” he teases as his hand steals away your phone, his soaked fingers lightly strumming against your slit. “what else goes on in that nasty little mind?”, he bends his head down to your neck and starts sucking on the skin staining it with purple marks while his hand makes its way to your back, signaling you to press your face down and lift your ass up.

an angels glow up guide for 2025 ⋆.˚
have you tried to glow up before, only to fail to see results, feel unmotivated and give up? realise that you don’t actually have the energy or motivation or discipline to suddenly change your life? this guide is meant to help you glow up at your own pace - treat it as a checklist or pick a few tasks from each section! whatever speed you move at remember that any progress is positive. feel proud of yourself angel - 2025 is your year!
PREPARING ⋆.˚
research, research, research!! this is the best way to actually create a plan/guide and have it stick for you. here are some of my planning video recommendations:

after you’ve watched some videos, read some posts and articles now it’s time to start specifically planning for YOU, here are my favourite things to do:
make a vision board.
buy or source what you’ll need (e.g a gym membership, a waterbottle). treat yourself as much as you can!
clean and tidy your space.
sort through your drawers, clothes and so on. donate what you can and clear some space out.
make a playlist full of motivational songs and the energy you want to bring into the new year.
have an everything shower - feel your cleanest and best for your new goals.
make a pinterest board with a section for every specific goal you have.
make a planner or organiser. write down all of your goals, ideas and plans. start journalling about how you will achieve them and how the you of the future will look having achieved them all!
research and find apps, youtubers or guides specific for your goals that can continue to help you feel motivated and energised.
HEALTH ⋆.˚
your health should be your priority this year! you cant glow up mentally, physically or spiritually unless your body is functioning at its best. here are some essential health focused habits to adopt so you can be your best in every single way:
walk a minimum of 5k steps a day.
drink 2 litres of water a day.
stop skipping meals! having three meals a day ensures that your body is running at its best and functioning how it should.
at least two servings of fruit or veggies per meal.
adding vitamins or supplements in your diet when you can.
yoga every morning and evening.
outside time every day.
find a workout plan that works for you and your lifestyle.
try to eat cleaner, avoid super sugary foods, fast food, anything that stops your from feeling your best.
plan your meals in advance.
have an early night - get at least 7-8 hours.
reduce your caffeine where possible, try herbal teas, matcha and so on.
emphasise a balanced diet and plate.
practice meditation and breathing.
stretch before and after every workout.
stop using screens at least an hour before you go to bed.
cook more - stop buying takeout or ready meals as much as possible.
have rest days, your body and muscles need some time to recover.
change your attitude! workout because you love your body not because you hate it.
BODY + APPEARANCE ⋆.˚
your body and appearance always tends to be a strong emphasis in glow up guides and while i think it’s important i think it’s better and more effective to focus on health, wellness and your mental space which in turn will lead to a bigger physical/appearance based glowup! i do love sharing tips for your body and appearance and i feel it’s something that i should share just with the reminder on where you should invest most of your time and energy
face
ice face every morning.
gua sha routine 3-4 times a week.
double cleanse to remove makeup, spf etc.
suncream every day!
moisturise twice a day to keep skin hydrated.
perfect your makeup and skincare routine.
gently pluck eyebrows to keep them more clean.
face mask once a week.
spot treatments where needed.
lip masks/treatments regularly.
silk pillowcase to prevent acne!
washing hands before touching face.
use a facial oil.
try regular face massages.
hair
invest in a bonnet or silk hair ties.
sleep in a protective style.
try out new hair styles to fit your hair type!
double cleanse with shampoo.
hair masks and oils pre wash.
heat protectant whenever you use heat.
embracing your natural hair.
investing in a hair oil.
buy cute hair accessories to make your hair more fun and for you!
leave your conditioner on your hair for a minimum five minutes.
try rice water for hair growth.
get regular haircuts - get those dead ends trimmed!
figure out how often to wash your hair and commit to that.
ensure all shampoo and conditioner is washed out your hair.
use a scalp scrub/exfoliant.
body
ditch the loofa and invest in an african shower net.
exfoliate before you shave.
change your razor head once a month.
use a neutral soap bar to cleanse your body then go in with a shower gel.
use a plain thick lotion, then a body oil and then a scented lotion for baby soft skin.
exfoliate your feet regularly.
find your signature scents.
use a roll on deodorant and replace it regularly. bring it in your bag/out with you.
have an everything shower once a week.
use a cuticle oil and hand cream.
file and paint your nails once a week.
cut your toenails once a week, paint and make look pretty!
dry brush your body before washing/showering.
the last minute of your shower should be cold!
spf on your body when it’s more exposed.
figure out your body type and dress to work with that.
invest in more jewellery and accessories.

floss daily.
mouthwash twice a day.
clean teeth before and after breakfast.
oil pull three times a week!
carry gum in your bag at all times.
invest in a water floss.
get teeth whitening strips or get your teeth whitened.
if you have a retainer etc, use it!!

MIND ⋆.˚
to glow up properly i really believe you need to have a mental glow up as well! your mental health and wellbeing is so deeply important and such a good thing to prioritise as much as possible. here are my suggestions to help you get a mental shift/change:
read every day. set a goal and achieve it.
journal every day.
watch more long form content - avoid short form.
plan your future/dream life, what mental goals will you need to achieve?
socialise more when possible, surround yourself with good and rewarding people.
learn a new hobby or skill, such as learning a new language!
become more curious, ask yourself why. learn about what interests you.
visit libraries more.
set your school device up to maximise your academic productivity!
learn to love and cherish your alone time.
take mental health walks.
find podcasts and audiobooks that interest you.
set time limits on apps like tiktok and so on that suck you in too much, they are time wasters.
read the news/news articles mores.
find a calendar and prep your days and weeks ahead of time.
set up a notion!
follow creators who inspire you positively and are healthy for you to engage with.
cut out bad habits and people.
fix your sleep schedule, dedicate your evenings just for you!
become more ‘cultured’ visit museums, read more and educate yourself.
FINANCE ⋆.˚
shop mindfully - stop impulse purchasing!
build a budget.
set a spending limit monthly.
figure out your financial goals for 2025.
try thrifting or shopping second hand.
more expensive better quality products are longer lasting - weigh that up when shopping.
cook more!
keep a spending tracker.
instead of buying a product immediately, add it to your basket and weigh it up.
follow creators who give spending tips!
if possible consider investing or what you could do better with your money.
give to charity if you can.
work hard, consider what you can do to get promotions, find a job etc.

Fyi for anyone dealing with acne especially those deep ones that don't even pop, just sit there and hurt, don't get those pimple patches.
Not because they're harmful or anything, in fact they work quite well! But rather, get yourself a pack or two of hydrocolloid bandages. Not only are they cheaper than the pimple patches cause they aren't considered a "beauty item", they are larger than the patches, thicker, and stick waaaay better. They come in different shapes and sizes. Since they are bigger, you can cut them in half to get more bang for your buck. They suck out far more gunk than the patches do bc they are, again, bigger and can hold more. They're built to stay on for multiple days and don't come off in water easily.
Plus, you can slap them on a cut or scrape and they reduce the amount of scarring bc of how they keep things clean and moist for recovery. AND! if you're nasty like me and like seeing the gunk come out of pimples, it's very interesting to see just how much they puff up as they absorb the nasty shit in there.
I stick them on my cuticles cause I get infections there all the time and by golly do they help. They stay on in places regular bandaids don't, and shit that would otherwise take weeks to heal or even just calm down from infection are tip top in a couple of days.

Most important steps to your glow up?
Top Tier.
Braces.
I had my braces on for 18 months, and they were the best decision of my life. I can breathe better, my jaw and chin look better, my teeth are straighter, and I have no more pain. Facial harmony is everything, and mine was restored by an expert orthodontist and continued use of my retainers. Jaw surgery wasn’t reasonable or necessary, but I can’t even begin to describe the impact that dental whitening, braces, weight loss, and proper dental care work had on my face.
Electrolytes and Hydration.
I was severely dehydrated and in need of electrolytes for years and years. I thought that drinking enough water wasn’t as important as people made it seem, but my life changed when I started to do it. Life feels much less stressful now that I’m properly hydrated, and I make sure to toss a little lemon and salt in my water and drink a Gatorade or Liquid IV to get electrolytes.
Darker and Longer Hair.
I look better with hair that’s long, dark, and thick. I have alopecia, so I did a number of things to disguise my hair loss growing up, but I wear wigs now that my hair is gone. I was told to wear my hair long, dark, and straight last year, and whenever I do, people tell me that I look otherworldly. Now that I know what to do with my hair and what looks best, I’m a million times more confident about myself.
Less Dairy.
I am not lactose intolerant, but I do not need to be eating dairy in excess. I enjoy dairy, so I won’t cut it out of my diet, but I don’t need to be eating it in the amount that I did. I was bloated, always breaking out, and tired all the time, but my low energy dissipated the second I cut my dairy intake. I’m not 100% dairy-free and most likely won’t ever be, but I’m careful with the amount I consume.
Korean Contact Lenses.
Americans think that all colored contact lenses are unnatural, and American-made colored contacts are. I use Olens contacts and only use the dark shades, and they’re amazing. I find that having huge, dark, striking eyes helps me get exactly what I want, and I love the way I look when I’m wearing contacts. I use contacts to craft my look and emphasize my eyes, and I never buy or use colors that aren’t brown or black. Wearing dark contacts has reduced my need for so much bright eye makeup; they make me look friendlier, and I look better in photos.
Better Quality Makeup.
Investing in higher-quality makeup and actually learning how to apply it was crucial. Buying Hourglass, Pat McGrath, Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, and Nars was sort of essential to my makeup journey, and I look much better now that I’ve invested the time and money into learning about makeup. Dupes just don’t hold up to the real things, and I look better now that I’m spending $45 on one product instead of spending $45 on five different products to try to replicate the look.
Urea, Glutamic Acid, and Dry Brushing.
I used to have serious strawberry arms and legs, dry skin, and dark spots from body acne, but all of that has cleared up. Hyaluronic acid and body serums have nothing on this combo, and dry brushing has completely cleared up my rough skin and helped with my stretch marks. If you want skin that’s plump, hydrated, glowing, and looks healthy, then you have to exfoliate your dry and wet skin and start using this trio to care for your body.
Better Skincare Products.
I invested a lot in using fancy designer brands, but the things that helped me the most were basic, unscented, and quality. I use Paula’s Choice exfoliant, plenty of SPF 100, retinol, and a variety of Korean and American products. My facial acne is gone, my dark marks are cleared, my skin barrier is healed, my skin looks healthier, and I’m glowing. Drunk Elephant, celebrity skincare brands, and trending products didn’t do it for me; figuring out what I needed and then implementing it into my routine helped.
Creating my own aesthetic.
I won’t stop talking about The Blend because it helped me become who I am today. I wanted to create a look that would help me, and so I had to spend months solidifying my image. It took me a year to get to where I am today, but life became easier once I was able to figure out what I should be doing, what I should be saving for or investing in, and what suited me. The Blend isn’t just about style, and I had to be scientific with it at times and really work with the resources I had and what was readily accessible to me.
