Nourish Your Beauty: The Ultimate Fall Vegetable Guide
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As the seasons shift, so do our nutritional needs—and the vegetables that thrive in the cooler months are packed with vitamins and minerals perfect for keeping your skin glowing and your health strong. For the Feminine Woman, integrating seasonal produce into your diet not only nourishes your body but also radiates beauty from within. Here are the best fall veggies to stock up on and their incredible benefits for both your health and your skin.
1. Sweet Potatoes
Sweet potatoes are rich in beta-carotene, which your body converts into Vitamin A—a key nutrient for maintaining healthy skin. Vitamin A helps prevent dry skin, keeps it soft, and promotes a youthful appearance by encouraging cell turnover.
Beauty Benefits:
• Glowing Skin: Beta-carotene protects your skin from UV damage and gives it a natural, radiant glow.
• Anti-aging: The high antioxidant content fights free radicals, reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
• Hydration: The Vitamin C in sweet potatoes aids in collagen production, helping to keep skin plump and moisturized.
How to Use: Roast sweet potato slices with olive oil, rosemary, and a pinch of sea salt for a simple yet delicious side dish.
2. Kale
Kale, the queen of greens, is one of the most nutrient-dense vegetables you can add to your diet in fall. It’s loaded with Vitamins C, E, and K, which are crucial for skin health, elasticity, and wound healing.
Beauty Benefits:
• Cleanses Your Skin: Kale’s high fiber helps to detoxify the body, leading to clearer, more even-toned skin.
• Fight Acne: The Vitamin C in kale reduces inflammation, making it a perfect addition to combat blemishes.
• Skin Elasticity: Vitamin K helps with skin elasticity, reducing dark circles and puffiness under the eyes.
How to Use: Add kale to a smoothie for a nutrient boost or sauté it with garlic for a quick, nutrient-packed side.
3. Butternut Squash
Butternut squash is high in Vitamin E, beta-carotene, and potassium, which help your skin stay hydrated, soft, and smooth. It’s perfect for preventing signs of aging while keeping your skin firm.
Beauty Benefits:
• Hydrated Skin: Butternut squash helps retain moisture in your skin due to its rich potassium content.
• Even Skin Tone: Its Vitamin E helps even out your complexion and reduces hyperpigmentation.
• Firmness: The collagen-boosting properties of Vitamin C in this squash keep your skin looking firm and youthful.
How to Use: Roast butternut squash and blend it into a creamy soup or cube it for a hearty salad.
4. Brussels Sprouts
Brussels sprouts are often underrated but are a powerhouse when it comes to skin health. Rich in Vitamin C, Brussels sprouts promote collagen production, which helps maintain your skin’s firmness and elasticity.
Beauty Benefits:
• Brighter Skin: Vitamin C boosts your skin’s radiance, making it look brighter and more youthful.
• Collagen Boost: Collagen production is essential for skin structure and elasticity, reducing sagging and fine lines.
• Detox: Brussels sprouts help detoxify the skin, flushing out harmful toxins and leaving your complexion clear.
How to Use: Roast Brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar for a tangy, crunchy side dish that’s perfect for fall.
5. Beets
Beets are known for their blood-purifying properties, which lead to clearer, healthier skin. They’re also loaded with antioxidants that prevent signs of premature aging.
Beauty Benefits:
• Glowing Skin: Beets help boost blood circulation, resulting in a natural flush and radiant complexion.
• Detox Power: The high iron content in beets helps detoxify the body, keeping skin clear and blemish-free.
• Anti-Inflammatory: Beets’ anti-inflammatory properties reduce puffiness and redness.
How to Use: Add roasted beets to salads or blend them into smoothies for a pop of vibrant color and nutrients.
Incorporating these seasonal veggies into your fall diet will not only boost your health but also enhance your beauty from the inside out. These nutrient-packed powerhouses will keep your skin hydrated, youthful, and glowing as the temperatures drop.
So, head to your local farmer’s market, stock up on these fall essentials, and let your natural beauty shine!

Unmasking is such a trip ok?
Like my vision is genuinely worse when I stop masking because part of my mask is straining my eyes and pulling my face muscles in a way that I look permanently surprised. I didn’t know I needed glasses I just thought things getting blurry when I’m tired or drunk was normal. Apparently not!
And iv realised that when I slip back into unhealthy masking habits my face shape actually changes and gets puffier. Probably due to the central nervous system being under too much stress. But looking back on some not great photos from not great days I can draw a line down the center of my face and determine what emotion I was projecting and what emotion I was feeling.
Anyway something something masking affects all parts of your body something something science idk.

My Beauty Routine 🩵
🫧🪭🕯️🐚🪞🫖: This is my beauty routine and I wanted to share it. This is what I do to stay fresh and feel beautiful.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Inside & Outer Beauty Basics
- Clear skin: Have a simple skincare routine day & night. Cleanser, toner, serum, clay/sheet face masks, exfoliating products/tools and a moisturizer.
- Drink 32-64 ounces of water daily, drink teas, smoothies, green juices and matcha a few times a week.
- Eat Greek yogurt, granola with fiber, kimchi & dark leafy greens a few times a week.
- Sleep 8-9 hours a night. You can use sleepy time tea or take melatonin and put on a nature documentary and you’ll be fast asleep in no time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Grooming
- Shave legs & arms every few days or wax/laser.
- Shave underarms every few days.
- Get a bikini wax: Personally I trim and then use hair removal cream (Please follow the timer and don’t go over the limit.) to get most of the hair on the outside and then shave with a fresh razor and no scented shaving cream to get the rest. I follow up with non scented body wash in the shower and then apply Aloe-Vera gel afterwards.
- Wax upper lip and eyebrows: I use small eyebrows scissors, facial hair removal cream, tweezers and an eyebrow pencil for precision.
- Shave knuckle hair on hands and feet. (unfortunately I grow hair here)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Improvements and growth
- I am growing out my natural nails: Refresh clear nail polish 2-3x a week and do a manicure/pedicure every other week. ( Nail Polish and Acrylics can damage your nails.)
- I am growing out my hair: Keep hair in dark mermaid braids and wash when needed. I know how to braid my own hair and I’ve been doing it since I was 14. I grew it super long the last time I wore them in braids for like a year. I have a great hair care routine so I will see how much my hair grows.
- Whitening and straightening teeth: I had smile direct club and it straightened my teeth, I just have to maintain it with my retainer which I forget to wear sometimes. I use whitening mouthwash and then whitening strips. The dollar store has whitening strips that actually work or you can get the $20 box at the store. Brush 2x a day and floss/use a water pick. Wear retainers!!!
- Hair, skin and nail gummy’s. These really work and help a lot.

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow? NOT! My Natural Hair Growth Routine
Hey, curly cuties and coily queens! Ever dream of mermaid-length locks that turn heads wherever you go? Well, toss those Rapunzel fantasies aside, because achieving epic natural hair growth is closer than you think! Forget harsh chemicals and heat damage – embrace your gorgeous texture with a routine that nourishes from root to tip.
Ready to unlock your hair's full potential? Buckle up!
1. Know Your Curls:
First things first, understand your hair's porosity (high, low, or medium). This helps you choose products that penetrate properly and avoid moisture overload. Think of it like choosing the right key to unlock your hair's secrets!
2. Cleanse Wisely:
Ditch the daily washes! Aim for gentle cleansing 1-2 times a week with a sulfate-free shampoo that focuses on your scalp. Pamper your strands with a deep conditioning treatment afterward – think of it as a luxurious spa day for your hair!‍♀️
3. Moisture is Magic:
Natural hair craves hydration, so keep it quenched! Use leave-in conditioners, spritzes, and natural oils (like coconut or jojoba) regularly. Bonus points for sealing the moisture with a light oil on your ends to prevent breakage. ✨
4. Scalp Stimulation:
Give your hair follicles a little TLC with regular scalp massages. Use your fingertips or a scalp massager to increase blood flow, which can promote hair growth. It feels amazing and benefits your hair? Win-win!
Tumblr media
5. Protective Styling is Your BFF:
Minimize manipulation and breakage with protective styles like braids, twists, or bantu knots. They keep your ends tucked away and allow your hair to grow undisturbed. Plus, they're super versatile and stylish!
 6. Trim the Damage:
Split ends are like gremlins for your hair growth – they slow things down! Get regular trims (every 8-12 weeks) to remove split ends and keep your hair healthy and growing strong. ✂️
7. Natural Powerhouses:
Explore natural ingredients like castor oil, coconut oil, and aloe vera for their nourishing and growth-promoting properties. Do your research and patch test before applying!
Remember, hair growth is a journey, not a race! Be patient, and consistent, and shower your hair with love. And hey, don't forget to have fun! Experiment with different products and styles to find what works best for you.
