i always see people on tiktok tryna get real accurate with makeup looks for the astrology placements but somehow the comments are never pleased, so ill try tell yall MY hottakes and again, it‘s up to you to decide whether you follow my opinions or nah. on tiktok, i often see mentions of venus and the rising when talking about makeup, but in my PERSONAL life, i‘ve noticed venus is more about how i view beauty and not how what is beautiful on my self. soo, i came to the conclusion to mix the rising and the mars.

leo rising/leo mars

lioness baess, i feel like yalls voluminious mane might just even be enough, i mean just going for vaseline and lipliner and a bomb outfit and yalls hair literally makes up the whole look. but if you do want to opt to makeup: for yall, definitely enhance your beautiful cat eyes and draw that eyeliner wing. some dark (not black though, that‘s for your marsian ppl like scorpio) eyeshadow around your eyes and just using bronzer in general. try drawing attention to your eye area, it truly is a blessed trait of yall. some matte lipliner is also appreciated. overall, this is not a very glossy look imo. (also if yall know that glamour trend on tiktok w the leopard print on the face, that wld definitely compliment your faces, ill add a pic below incase yall dont what im talkin abt) ALSOOO i feel like alexa demie captures the look so perfectly with her leo rising, although she has a gemini mars which makes her more experiemental, especially with her eye makeup. ill get to that later though

scorpio mars/rising

with this placement, enchaning your eyes is also a must imo. i would go for lashes to give more emotion to your eyes that are influenced by the element of water while keeping the darker themes of mars with eyeliner or black eyeshadow, ANDD drawing in your waterline with a black eye pencil. i‘ve noticed drawn on freckles sometimes really look good with this placement which is so random tbh. with this look, maybe a more sublte approach to your lips with lipliner, id recommend a liptint and try make them look pouty. (giving in to the water element themes. also kali uchis has a scorpio rising, try looking at the way she does her eye area- she knows exactly what to do to make it stand out) also i LOVEE dark hair on yall!! like dark brown/BLACK just does it for yall fr. and piercings toooo

virgo mars/virgo rising

i see the same opinions on virgo rising continuosly, saying to keep it clean, natural, soft, etc. although i‘ve noticed that especially for virgo placements, they have to pay attention to the rising/mars, if they would like to try a more personalized look. ( for a brief example, a virgo rising with a leo mars would want to focus on the leo themes while doing their makeup, as for a pisces rising virgo mars, it‘d be the pisces themes that get the attention. a good example i can think of is beabadoobee, she has a virgo rising with a gemini mars, she steers clear from the natural/clean look and is completely influenced by the experimental side of the gemini mars. i will get into the influence of gemini mars later) now less talking about the facts, more about what you‘re here for: it is clear that you are blessed with symmetrical features, especially big eyes, expressive eyes that deserve admiration, for that to be achieved, i suggest wispy lashes. highlighter in the corner of your eyes deffo too. with these placements i would go for the deer makeup look, just try taking advantage of the features you possess. i also recommend enhancing your lips, make them fuller, poutier, glossier perhaps. (the pictures i have put below are very general, as i‘ve said for a more personal look you have to consider what i mentioned at the beginning)

pisces mars/rising

yall neptunians are ethereal asfff🙏 enhance that shi fr. you all just embody fairies imo, you guys definitely look otherwordly. i LOOVE pisces rising eyes, whether you like it or not, you guys will always look a little bit different from the rest, but in a VERY good way, like you are from a dream. let me stop my rant about the beauty of pisces. soo for a more extravagant look i would suggest like little beads around the eyes that create a wing or sth similiar to that, also baby pink/blue or just shimmery eyeshadow definitelyy. but for a more day to day look, highlight your eyesss, just bring out those water eyes ykwim. i feel like for every placement here i have talked about the eyes but this one is a must as well. the brows that seem to look good are either thin asf or bushy asf, but ofc yall choose what u do w ur face bro dont listen to me. also another very random observation, pisces placements look so fine with two front hair pieces braided or bangs. i haven‘t mentioned blush for the previous placements cause it isn‘t a must but i do recommend using some type of blush, even on the tip of the nose. yall dont have to do a lot to your lips, ive noticed most have fuller lips and try keep the lips natural with gloss maybe?

libra mars/rising

when i think of yall, i js envision makeup that doesnt look natural if ykwim? like the natural look is beautiful too but with yall it would be good if you can tell theres makeup. (i hope im explaining this correctly) here again, i feel like some nude-pink or brown typa eyeshadow looks so good w a small wing, not the typa wing youd pull for leo placements tho. this look is more subtle but still stands out. i‘ve noticed long lashes look really good here so if mascata can‘t do the trick, invest in some lashes (but NOT ones that make your eyes droopy, rather ones that lift your face) y‘all usually have almond eyes so if you got lucky, all typa lashes suit you. here it is similiar to pisces placements, dont try make your face darker/deeper (like w scorpio for example), try keeing it light and soft. also i find birthday makeup looks real nice on yall. here the usual blush and maybe bronzer shld be used, also for the lips go for lipliner AND gloss!! the romantic look just fits yall fr

capricorn mars/rising

bronzer after bronzer and top it with bronzer. nah jk but like yalls bone structure shld stand out even more with the makeup you use, think tim burton character. i think accentuating your cheekbones and jawline with some contour shld rlly be a priority, also contouring your nose and highlighting it. i think highlighter and contour are important for this placement. also i have a vision heavy like contrast for the lips, like a dark lipliner going into a more nude middle of the lip, or idk just the lips should be a bit darker. i have noticed with my best friend who has a capricorn rising she has very beautiful long lashes, she knows how to make them pop with mascara and doesn’t even need eyeliner, because her lashes make it look like there is a wing there already if ykwim. i feel like darker themes around your eye area is good too. maybe if you‘re into eye shadow and have a darker skin complexion, golden eyeshadow could really do it for you fr. kylie jenner has this placement aswell and if you need some support for your makeup looks, try looking at her vids/pics. if you are looking for a more natural look, skip the foundation maybe and eyeshadow.

aquarius mars/rising

idk if it is only me but these placements remind me of pearl from the movie trilogy X,pearl and maXXXine. i‘d try going for metalic/dark blue and blue eye area shit. yall know that one typa wing you do with colored eyeliner or with eyeshadow that goes on the eyelid, ill put a pic below but i feel like THAT looks so so fineee on yall. i feel like a lot of crazy looks just look good on yall, yalls faces is like a canvas ready to be colored and you can be so creative with what you do. i think highlighter around the eyes is great too. you guys can basically do anything and pull it off imo. i feel like lashes are also fire w this placement, thinking of nicki minaj here lowkey.

gemini mars/rising

experimental asf🙏 i can‘t lie but the first thing that came to mind was beabadoobee, i have already mentioned the virgo rising aspect and it is like i said, the gemini mars has a BIG influence on it. throughout the years she has had so many looks and she pulled them off with such ease. here again, your face is like a canvas that is ready to be painted. experiment with makeup, but focus on your eye area alot!! dye your hair, change your eyebrows, get piercings, etc. (ofc don‘t do ts if you dont feel like it, hope y‘all listen to yourselves and not random tumbler blogs) all in all, my advice to u guys is experiment. it is so fun and benefits you sm, you will find what looks best on you by just having fun w it and treating it like art imo. (ill add 2 pics of beabadoobee at the top so for those who dk her see what i mean by her experiment with makeup and style aswell is a big one i forgot to mention!! she has switched styles and rocked all. another important mention is alexa demie, im sure we all know her. she has a leo rising with a gemini mars and again, the experimental looks fit her so well. she sticks to the leo themes but also experiments so much with her eye makeup looks and style. alexa demie is the prime example on why you should focus on BOTH placements and not only focus on the rising or sum shit i be hearing on tiktok. you need to combine the energies!!)

sagittarius mars/rising

i feel like yalls bodies are so tea u can rock the natural face card look. i instantly thought of kim kardashian with her mars and ascendant in sagittarius! lucky girly syndrome typa placement tbh. i feel like lashes are a huge part of your look, and full lips too, which ive noticed for your other jupiter buddies the pisces. just simple plain old matte x glossy makeup with focus on lips and getting your base to look perfectly, like a clean ass base is the foundation for the building typa shi. i love lash extensions on this placement.

taurus mars/rising

elegant baddiesss, the beauty of the venusian influenced individuals should definitely get recognition. i love yall venus n neptune hoes. im out here as a mercury n saturn dominant bitch rooting for yalls success fr. anywayyy, as i said taurus just radiates elegance, i thought of gigi hadid in a split second. i feel like slicking your hair back and bringing attention to your face is really beneficial. yall are blessed w crazy face cards and a lot going in with your hair might look a bit out of place. (NOT ALWAYS) but i feel like straight hair suits yall a lot, or like long braids. now to the makeup: i‘m so sorry if yall want to hear more but, the natural look might just be the best on yall. HEAR ME OUTTT, glossy lip x glossy skin x fake lashes!! ( and ofc a lil concealer) let me show yall my vision with some pics below, its just that yalls face cards are so beautiful i feel like you only really truly need lashes to look fine asf, the elegance is already radiated

aries mars/rising

ooo, this one is fire asf. idek if lily rose depp has any aries placements but i instantly thought of her. maybe she has some mars energy in her chart, she definitely gives that off. i recommend yall to focus on bronzer,blush and lips. and for the eyes make them darker with lashes/eyeshadow. just achieve a very striking look. y‘all are usually so fine, like all mars dominants. again, crazy face cards that dont even NEED makeup to make peoples heads turn. try going darker for your lips aswell!

cancer mars/rising

my moon bitches🌙 yall just radiate mother, you should try mimic that nurturing and warm energy in your makeup. i recommend focus on the cheeks with some blush and a lot of highlighter in the right places. i would skip fake lashes w this one, try only mascara, i recommend the maybelline new york falsies lashlift for volume and you follow up w the sky high lengthening one, before the lashes get the chance to dry. yall always got nice 🍒, no matter if they small or big they always so pretty. maybe try incorporating that asset into your outfits, wearing shi that makes them stand out somehow

i hope you guys enjoyed my rant on makeup looks, again please do try figure out what you like best and don‘t just do makeup looks for other people but also for you to feel comfortable and pretty in.

also!!! i cannot emphasise the importance of taking both energies in consideration, do not only focus on your rising or vice versa when you‘re figuring out what suits you. (i explained this already for some placements, especially with virgo/gemini placements they need to take the other party into their analysis. might be because of the mutability + the mercurial influence.)
