You are allowed to excuse yourself and take some time to regroup from Sensory Hell (tm).
You are allowed to not answer nosy or judgmental questions.
You are allowed to (discreetly) regift.
You are allowed to give gifts only to immediate family, or only to children.
You are allowed to have a quiet and subdued holiday.
You are allowed to do as much or as little decorating as you desire.
You are allowed to do less.
You are allowed to ask for help, and to (graciously) accept help.
You are allowed to give experiences rather than things.
You are allowed to grieve.
You are allowed to disappoint people, and to let their disappointment be their issue to deal with, not yours.
You are allowed to scrap traditions that don't resonate with you, or that leave you exhausted, burned out, broke, etc.
You are allowed to start new traditions, or to lean into traditions that are meaningful to you.
You are allowed to have fats and carbs.
You are allowed to enjoy delicious food, guilt-free.
You are allowed to have seconds.
You are allowed to set boundaries with your loved ones.
You are allowed to change the subject.
You are allowed to spend the holidays with people other than your family of origin.
You are allowed to dislike your family.
You are allowed to take care of yourself, and make your needs a priority.
You are allowed to ignore the naysayers and critics.
You are allowed to feel anything, and acknowledge your feelings.

You will get through today. You will survive the onslaught of diet culture and fatphobia from your friends and family. You are strong.
Someone who believes you should abuse your body to aesthetically please them could never take away your worth.
Enjoy the holidays. Enjoy the desserts. Enjoy the food and traditions. Wear what you love and feel good in.
You deserve to exist and participate in society. You deserve to participate in your culture. And if you can't manage to do that for yourself yet, do it for the fat people in your life who needed to see other fat people living freely to feel able to start doing the same.
You make the world a better place when you allow yourself to take up space.

One of my biggest challenges in life has always been eating healthier. When you’ve got a massive sweet tooth like me, you can’t help but choose fruit gummies over real fruit!!!
regardless, here is a sweet tooth girl’s guide to eating healthier in 2025:
-incorporating fruits n veggies into your meals
By adding in healthier ingredients to foods you like, you’re eating healthier and happier!
-Trying new foods
I’ve always been a very picky girl. So, this year I’ve decided to turn a new leaf and eat new foods! There are many fruits I’m yet to try, giving me lots to look forward to. This is one thing I think anyone can incorporate into their life as well!
-eating less snacks and better meals
Snacking is a bad habit of mine when I’m bored, so finding new hobbies is one way to counter this weakness! Eating better meals prevents hunger and snacking.
-replacing sweets with healthier treats
ice cream -> yogurt (can be frozen to imitate ice cream!) chips -> *healthy* popcorn (toppings can be added for flavor!) fruit gummies -> real fruit. And more! This is just a few examples.
-have treats sometimes
Turn them into a reward! Like on Fridays, when you ace a test, celebrate the small things and treat yourself!

visualizing when u wake up + before u go to sleep

decide ur sp is ur valentine -> whenever u think about ur sp again, just remind urself that u have what u want -> go about ur day
write a story about urself and ur sps
like i've mentioned in day three, if your self fulfilling but ur mental diet is trash then its like taking one step forward and three steps back. whenever u get an opposing thought DEBUNK it. rampage if u want, or simply flip the thought to that of a positive one.
lastly for the super fun affirmation for our last day of the valentines day series...
isn't it so wonderful that i've manifested a valentine?! im so so limitless and theres not a doubt in my mind that i can't manifest something else. nothing can stop me from getting what i want, im so grateful for the valentines day i had this year, it was AMAZING.

Because that means you ate lots of delicious food, you rested, maybe you spent time with loved ones. You stayed inside, comfy and safe from the unpleasant weather.

Fat people deserve to enjoy feasting holidays just as much as thin people.
Fat people, eat what you want today. Allow yourself a second plate. Take home leftovers. Don't force yourself to be last in line for food. Shut down diet and weight talk. Tell the people who try to start it that it makes you uncomfortable. Wear what you like to dinner. Enjoy dessert. Do not tell yourself to "make up" for this meal tomorrow.
You are inherently allowed and deserve to eat food because you are a living, breathing human being, and no one can take that away from you. Anyone who says otherwise about you and your right to nourish yourself is valuing thinness over your literal survival needs. Their opinion is trash and should be thrown out with the rest of the garbage.
Stay strong today. The diet culture and fatphobic talk will be in full force, but you are stronger, and your needs are more important than the bigoted opinions of judgemental friends or family members.
