She is the one who stands with Her arms open,
Ready to welcome those who have walked across the Gjöll bridge.
She is not one to be tricked,
For Her holy name is renowned through the nine worlds,
All of which know of Her power:
She cradles the souls of those who come to rest with the Gods,
And She does not discriminate the peasant from the king,
Nor the humble from the noble.
To Her we send songs of praise.
Onto Her I entrust my life.
Beside Her does the Luminous One sit.
Upon Her is a crown made of ash.

Mother Hekáte please heal us,
Please make us new,
Bring us through this liminal plane,
And through to a life with You.
Goddess Ækátî please protect us,
Let us never be parted,
Let us always feel joy,
Never heavy hearted.
Blessed Ekáth bring us prosperity,
Let us want for nothing,
All of our needs met,
In our hands always something.
Perfect Hekáte, Queen of All, this is what we ask if You!

LOGYN: MAKIN' BREAD 🥧 2
If you've given me a dollar or more this month on ☕️ you've seen this in progress over the past week. What started out as a joking response to some discourse about Sigyn being a tradwife is turning into what I think is a lovely slice of life illustration series~
Click to see the first in the series.

Lady Hel
Tumblr media
my first devotional painting for Lady Hel, done woth watercolors and chalk pastels ♡
The flowers are not really intended to represent anything, but the background is how I imagine one of many hallways of Hel's hall, Éljúðnir. I might add more details later, like detailing the flowers and giving Hel brooches and beads.

Could you do an informational post on Mórā?
K̑ólyā
Tumblr media
Or as I write it Kólya, also found as Kolyos, her name means "The Coverer". She's also known as Mórā or Mértis.
She's the goddess of the underworld, the dead and winter. While Yemós is the deity who rules over the underworld, Kólya is death itself. She is in charge of taking away souls to the underworld when the time of death comes. She is said to take the souls with a noose or a snare.
According to this source, she is the daughter of the goddess of night, Nókʷts, and the god of sleep, Swépnos. She is in turn the consort of the god of magic Wélnos and with him fathers the many monsters of Proto Indo-European myth, like the great monster Wṛ́tros which is slain by the thunder god Perkʷū́nos.

I spent a few months without coming in here and in the meantime Hel appeared in my life. Her presence is so strong and powerful and yet so good. It wasn't long ago that this happened, what I feel is that Loki appeared to me at a time when I needed to find the courage to make big changes in my life. But Hel is with me so I can deal with the issues within me, including grief.

This necklace is hand made with death and time in mind this piece is inspired by Greek God Thanatos and the Norse Goddess Hel. This Prayer Beads has a semi Hour Glass pendant that is timed at only a few seconds. This necklace is also inspired by the Angel of Death Azrael. This piece is made with Garnet, Onyx and Howlite and tarnish resistant wire, resistant not proof so please keep in mind when cleaning.
This piece is long enough to slip over your head, no clasp needed but I can add one if you want, please message me right after purchase or leave it in notes.
While support my small business you also support other small businesses which I buy from. This includes a local Native American bead vendor and an elder mom and pops shop. Thank you so much for choosing my designs.
