Lamb has to comfort their newborn baby, Lari, but they find that hearing their cries brings them back to one of the darkest moments in their life

(rambling and bonus under the cut!)

I've been meaning to make this comic for a long time now! But it never seemed to be the right time because I wanted to make this comic special.

Whenever the idea for this comic came to my head I'd feel extremely sad and sometimes even sobbed just thinking about it, it's such a scary huge world for a tiny little defenseless baby.

In a way this is also echoing the idea I wrote about in the "Parental Worries" comic, Lamb suffered pain no child should ever suffer, so they'll do whatever it is in their power to make sure Lari never knows that pain. It's just that this time I really wanted to explore the way Lamb's trauma affects how they interact with their baby, it's hard not to see themselves in them when that child is still crying inside them.

As a little relief, here's a small bonus

Here are some doodles I did during my lunch break at work! Doodles of older Puella and little sneak peak to Goat’s son “Vir”. I just like drawing Dulciter slowly embracing more of their feminine side since all their life they were ashamed of it. Reason so is because in the village they grew in, femininity was always associated with weakness and they didn’t wish to be seen that way either, so they always maintain this facade, even as a Crown Bearer. Anywho! Gotta get back to work, enjoy today’s doodles!
