I like this portrait. Apollo was the god of light, art, poetry, healing, but he was also a fearful, vengeful deity, and the plague inflicter. I think the artist did a great job balancing his luminous and dark aspects.

uhh idk if people will get mad at me ( cause helpol people dont like fandoms around the gods from what ive seen ) but I drew people from Epic the Musical!!

thats Circe : D the colored one is Iris ! on the back of the page I drew Aeolus and on the bottom I drew Siren-Penelope! I had fun, but I hope I dont get people upset! more drawings below! ALSO, I drew Lady Artemis during class and- RAHHHH I LOVE IT!! will post later tho, just the ones in my book i have currently!

Finally managed to draw something I'm actually really happy with for my Lady Artemis. I wasn't really happy with the old one I posted on here quite a while ago anymore , I really do hope she likes it too . I felt so content working on this and I loved drawing her , I really hope I managed to get the feeling of freedom I feel whenever I think of her across <33

The beautiful painting I was referencing for the posing and overall composition was definitely a good choice as the simple background didn't intimidate me for once and actually encouraged me to add more to it , like the cypress trees , the grass and the deer fur the goddess is leaning on .

I hope you guys like it too of course !!

BASTET MINI SHRINE!!!

For my 3D foundations art class we were supposed to create a miniature of a space that was important to us. I was stumped until I remembered the Field Museum in Chicago, which has an excellent Ancient Egypt section.

In honor of Bastet, I decided to recreate the special shrine they have in the museum, which has stuff related to Her and just cats in general.

Here are the pics i used as reference.

Once i have more room, I intend to make it a basic altar for Bastet. Ik its sloppy in some spaces and I had to rush some things. Overall I hope the lady of jubilation enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Here's a devotional piece I drew for Lady Selene <33 it's based on Bouguereau's painting titled Evening Mood, as it always reminded me of her . Hope you like it <3

I'm trying something a little different with my art , as in I'm trying to include more colors to make it pop more if that makes sense :')

Also I added stars around Lady Selene's crescent moon because she's often described as being surrounded by stars , as if they dance around her in a way .

this is my personal take on Aphrodite! i feel like the way she looks to me changes a lot but this is what I see the most
