Drinking my greens to be healthy but hating my life every second of it ❤️ the fact that my body doesn’t appreciate the pizza rolls and weed I put in it is ungrateful 👍

Yesterday's meals & this morning's breakfasts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Got a 1.5 mile walk in, & about 45-50 min on a recumbent bike.
Feeling better today. Nebulized already.
Up early, caffeinated. On my lunch break now.
Laundry is going. Time to walk the dogs 🐕
I addressed my loneliness with some extra Journaling this morning.
I know my marriage went bad, but I miss the companionship & cuddling. My ex turned out to be a cheater who manipulated me and financially abused me tho, so I don't miss that shit. I haven't spoke to them in years. Sometimes it is just better to cut contact completely.
Caregiving is lonely. Working from home is lonely. Not living in town is a little lonely too because it's not like I can just pop by someone's house. Everywhere I can go involves more driving and is less accessible, especially in today's corporate world.
My gf got sick at about the time i was starting to get restless, so I am giving her space to heal.
I am trying to refocus that intensity back to myself. Focus on my goals. My shit. My stuff.
I am recovering, I am trying to allow myself more rest.

Here is an easy fried rice recipe:
Ingredients
4 cups loosened leftover cooked rice
½ can Spam (6 ounces), diced very small
3 eggs, beaten
1 carrot, peeled and chopped
2 to 3 scallions, thinly sliced
Salt
White pepper
Instructions
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Coat pan with oil, about 2 tablespoons.
Add Spam and fry, stirring until crispy and browned on all sides.
Add chopped carrot and stir-fry until slightly softened, about 2 minutes.
Add rice and break up clumps with a wooden spatula, mixing well until the rice is softened and heated.
Push the rice mixture to one side of the skillet. Next, Pour beaten eggs into the other side of the skillet and cook until set.
Mix the eggs into the rice mixture.
Add scallions and stir-fry for another minute or two.
Lastly, Season with salt and white pepper to taste.

Blueberry  Benefits:
High antioxidant levels:
Blueberries are one of the best natural sources of antioxidants. They're thought to have the highest levels of antioxidants of any common fruit or vegetable. Antioxidants help protect against free radicals, which are harmful molecules your body makes in response to things that can damage cells.
Lower cholesterol levels:
High cholesterol is unsafe for your heart because it and other substances can build up in your arteries, which carry blood throughout your body. This process is thought to be triggered when cholesterol in your blood goes through a chemical reaction called oxidization. Antioxidants in blueberries help prevent cholesterol from being oxidized.
Lower blood pressure:
Eating blueberries regularly can help reduce high blood pressure. Plant compounds called anthocyanins, which give blueberries their color, are thought to be responsible for this benefit.
Blood sugar control:
If you have diabetes, blueberries can help you better manage your blood sugar levels. Studies have shown that eating blueberries regularly can help improve insulin sensitivity in people with type 2 diabetes.
Better digestion:
Blueberries contain dietary fiber, which helps your digestive system run smoothly.

I hate when someone vents about things they struggle with, and someone replies "be grateful for/focus on the things you have" yeah I get it. but that doesn't cancel out things you DONT have but need. it doesn't make your needs that arent being met just go away or suddenly be met!
#just because i have a roof over my head currently and make a little money from a family job that has many issues does not#cancel out my other needs that arent met (health issues not taken care of. no social support. etc)#and focusing on living in a house and my shitty job doesnt solve those problems or make them less problem or easier to ignore!#lee rambles#“it could be worse/others have it worse” goes along with it. it dismisses valid struggles and tries to trivialize them#tries to make the person feel bad about struggling or tells them to ignore important things in their life they cant ignore#maybe you can say it to a rich healthy privileged snob. but its said more to under privileged and struggling people!!!#just because someone is struggling with somethibg vital to life doesnt mean they take other things for granted or whatever#i dont take the fact that my parents let me live in their house rent free and cover half my food cost for granted. i think about it daily#but it doesnt make my other needs neglected go away or the bad parts of living in their house that infringes on my needs go away!#can we stop telling people these things?! unless theyre truly a spoiled brat that has all basic needs met. go say it exclusively to them!#and even then! you gotta be careful. if someone is married to a rich guy and seemingly gets everything but is asbused#telling them to “be grateful” for everything will make them feel trapped and helpless. so maybe stop saying it in general idk
