WARNING: VENT! Don't like, don't read!

I had a Mario Kart competition tryout thing at lunch for e-sports and I tried out with a few of my friends. We'll call them Autumn, Milla, and Violet. Violet and Autumn were having their go, and they were versing a few boys, (but they beat them because they slay. Or, at least, I think they beat them? I don't know, I was reading.) We were the only girls team, because the other few ones hadn't shown up because I think there was another club on or maybe they just didn't want to come, but anywayssss...

Oh yeah, right. Sorry that info was kind of irrelivant whoops. Anyways, as I said, I was reading a really good book called Dear Bully. It's written by a bunch of different authors, and it's really interesting. Me and Milla had gone for our turn just before Violet and Autumn, so we were just eating our lunch while watching them. Or, Milla was and I was reading. Milla came first, right? And I came 3rd but I didn't really care. (That's actually pretty good for me, so I was happy.)

Anyways, Milla was chatting to me whilst I was reading and she was like 'How did I come first? I was so bad, I kept crashing into walls and falling off!' But MULTIPLE times. Like, she kept mentioning it. And I just looked up and was like 'Yeah, how did you come first?' Just to see what would happen. And, after I apologised a while later, she said I had the most blank look on my face. Whoopsies. But yeah, I said that, and then I forgot what she said, but she said something and I was like 'Well, what do you want me to say? Well done?'

Anyways, a while after she was talking to me about it. The thing is, I'm a pretty comedic person. I'm always joking or making others laugh because if people think of me as funny, they won't comment on my hair, my weight, my clothes, my weirdness. Right? But when I spoke to her before like that, she said that it was like I wasn't 'the funny (my name)' anymore, I was just blank and cold.

But that's who I am. I'm not funny, I'm not sarcastic, I'm not snarky. That's just who you see me as. But that's not me, that's what I hide behind! And I almost said to her: 'You're wrong. That's me.' But instead, I just apologized and put my smile back on, laughing and cracking jokes for others to smile at too.

Are their smiles fake? God, I hope not.

WHOA that was a lot of dump soz guys. No but that was just the bad parts of my day- today was actually a pretty good day! I won a photography competition, and won a GIANT jar of lollies that I shared with my class :)

sometimes i randomly remember how insane maggie stiefvater was for making ronan lynch—a man that can create reality—a man of god, when he himself is a god of a man. then to take this man and have him be not only in love with, but a literal soulmate of a man named adam. parrish. adam parrish. who, mind you, lives above ronan's very own place of worship. and is the namesake of the first of mankind that the bible says god made from the literal dust of the ground (adam parrish: comes from nothing, hair "dusty" in color) and appoints him to care for the garden of eden (adam parrish: sacrifices himself to ronan's sentient forest). then has adam viewing ronan as a god and ronan saying "maybe he dreamt (created)" adam???? like who just fucking writes that and goes about their life?
