If you hate your body, do not achieve the body you want out of hate.
I know what you're thinking: starve yourself, run yourself into the ground, faster cardio, no carbs, no sugar.
You're reaching a perceived level of health at the expense of your actual health. If you expedite the process without doing the internal work, you're fucked. Now, I know there's some people who are finally happy and, uh, thinner body and I'm not talking to you, okay? Please, separate yourself from the equation and listen to what I'm saying.
It is so much more rewarding if you just improve your lifestyle. I just got my 10,000 steps on this beautiful day. I didn't do it to burn calories, I did it because I get to. I'm gonna go train legs now, I fucking love squatting and deadlifting! I love being strong! I have more time today, so I'm gonna take my time to cook a delicious, nutritious lunch. I'm not grinding, I'm not fasting, I'm not just having protein. I'm not doing burpees in-between my sets.
When you do this from an extreme standpoint, you're abandoning your quality of life. Therefore, you'll be more resentful. And because you're so resentful, you'll constantly be looking for validation, and it will never be good enough, and you'll be chasing a body that's impossible to reach 'cause your standards are too high. Just chase health! It's so much more rewarding, and you don't have to answer to fucking anybody!

Special Dish: Sea God’s Catch
Base: Sashimi platter

❛❛ The fish and garnishes seem oddly cut, but nonetheless the meat is chilled, tender, and its fragrance holds a sweet zest to it and an odd hint of spice from the side made to go with it. With Danae’s usual lack of culinary skills, it seems she must have put lots of practice into this. And been a bit overeager in her efforts, the overwhelmingly hearty portion considered. Your expression seems to fluster her. “What?! A proper meal’s good to keep up your strength! So eat up! Wh–you want to share it?! I...ugh, fine, I’ll help you finish– ❜❜
#//Idk; fun hc bc why not lol#;mun has spoken#//Would you believe me if I said I struggled to find a dish she’d feasibly be able to prepare lmao#//And it fit her brand so yeeee#//Funny she would insist on making other people eat well to keep up their strengths considering how often she skips/forgets meals; innit#//But when she dotes on someone; she DOTES and she tends to overlook her own habits#//Hence the dialogue (smile)#disordered eating mention tw#//Tagging that jic#v; intertwined fates (genshin verse)#//Sharing food is a love language. Also, that you have to have enough nutrients, and not getting enough can have physical consequences that get in the way of doing stuff that you want to do, as opposed to the usual obsession with looking a certain way for the pleasure of other people. If you don’t get enough fats or iron, you won’t have the energy for combat or the heavy physical exertion required for exploring. If you don’t get enough proteins, carbs, and vitamin C, that can slow down recovery from wounds, keeping you out of the action.
Most importantly, you can’t get anything done if you’re constantly starving. You can’t focus on the task at hand because hunger distracts you, you’re too weak to fight because you’re so tired and lethargic, and you can’t be your best self around other people because you’re hangry. Who gives a shit if other people compliment you for being “So Good” for depriving yourself and coo over how small and convenient (for them) and aesthetically pleasing (to them) your scrawny, malnourished frame is? You can’t get anything that YOU want to do done, and you always feel like shit! So, screw ‘em! Eat something! It’s not a sin to satisfy a need as essential to survival as hunger!
There’s no moral value assigned to any weight you put on, either. Body fat is only stored energy saved for later. If anything, putting on weight is pragmatically useful for a job as physically demanding as dungeoneering, as that saved energy can be spent on healing, long and difficult treks between checkpoints, or as a means to keep yourself alive in an emergency where you’ve got no access to food. People actually go out of their way to bulk up between dungeon trips because fat is so potentially useful in so many different ways, the same way athletes bulk to make sure they can keep building muscle at a steady pace.
The secret Dungeon Meshi sauce that's getting people to eat better is that it's so non-judgmental. Senshi and the rest of the gang never talk about what not to eat besides things that taste bad and literal poison. They don't even talk about "health" that much besides the importance of a balanced diet. It's so much easier to eat well when you think of food simply as something your body needs, and that it's often worth the extra effort to make it taste good, especially when you understand how to connect "things your body needs" with "things that taste good"

weight loss tip: just stop caring about food
ik it’s hard AF because all we do is think about food BUT if you trick your brain into believing you don’t care about it, it’s a lot easier to restrict since ur apetite goes away
how i do it:
- don’t plan my meals too much
- don’t think about what i’ll eat in the future
- all this is accomplished through gas lighting myself
- i pretty much just repeat to myself “i don’t really care” anytime i go to eat
- “not caring about something” means you don’t really want it, you don’t care if it’s there, you even prefer if it’s not because it’s just an annoying task
- the non planning thing makes choosing what i’ll eat overwhelming, so i just give up 💀
- i distract myself, i go do something else
- this works if you don’t care about health, macros and shit like that! you’ll probably not be getting a lot of nutrition, this is something a lot of junkorexics do
- this also works better if you have good knowledge about how many calories everything has, since ur not pre-planning
idk if any of this made sense but yea

IMO even if someone's getting their uterus removed "for no good reason," they should be allowed to without doctors asking weird questions about what their hypothetical future husbands might think, or lecturing them about how the sole purpose of a Biological Human Female™ is to bear children to continue a man's sacred, noble bloodline, etc. The whole point of bodily autonomy is that people can do whatever they want with their own bodies even if you, personally, don't agree with it, whether you find it irrational or immoral. Without that, any Nosy Nimby can come in and bar you from doing even the Good, Necessary Procedures if they "don't believe in it."
Also, lmao at "modern beauty culture is about customization!!1!" Like, how can you come away from reading stuff like The Beauty Myth without understanding that modern beauty culture is not, in fact, about customization or personal expression, but about the social and economic control of bodies by demanding that every woman fit an extremely narrow definition of borderline-starving-skinny-yet-huge-boobed, tiny button-nosed, Fox News Anchor pearly white horse-tooth veneered, blonde caucasian womanhood? (Also, don't act like the beauty industry doesn't impact men, because the super-misogynist incel forums are OBSESSED with disordered eating, anorexia-level excessive exercise routines, and plastic surgery, especially weird, dangerous experimental procedures like "knee-lengthening" surgery designed to force the body to fit an extremely limited and rigid standard of masculinity. A man can't stop to question whether he's being exploited as cannon fodder by a fascist regime when he's too focused on gettin' those gains to impress the invisible panopticon constantly judging his masculinity, brah!)
Like, if plastic surgery was actually marketed as "fun, optional customization" in the trans sense, the beauty industry would not nearly be as soul-crushing or useful as a tool for enforcing strict gender roles as it is today.

This is maybe the funniest (worst) radfem post I've come across in a while. It was a comment about cis women getting hysterectomies.
Do y'all know how many feminists have been fighting to be allowed to get hysterectomies without a) birthing (often multiple) children or b) a husband's permission? Including many people who have extremely painful and/or dangerous uterus-related conditions, like PCOS or menorrhagia? So many doctors HATE giving hysterectomies specifically because "you really should have kids first".
Also, cis men don't need to "remove their ballsack" to avoid having kids. They get vasectomies. An incredibly simple, routine procedure.
People who are getting hysterectomies are often doing so for reasons not solely related to pregnancy - if it were just about fertility, getting your tubes tied would suffice if you were averse to other forms of birth control. My mum did that after my sister was born, and then went back in for a hysterectomy a few years later because her periods were agonising. My aunty also had a hysto several years back, because not only were her periods agonising, but they would cause flare ups in some of her other conditions.
I just... how are you calling yourself a feminist while advocating for LESS bodily autonomy for women? How can you act like women are being stupid or reckless in their choice to get a hysto and not see the indescribable misogyny you're utilising?
"It's never [cis] men who remove an organ just because they don't want it" yeah, I wonder if that's because they don't have an organ that causes agonising blood loss on a monthly basis? Like... nobody's out here getting kidneys removed for fun. It's a very specific organ only being removed for very specific, personal reasons.
It's my body, not yours. Hands the fuck off.
*This post is authored by a trans person. If you're agreeing with me about this topic while being against trans healthcare, consider that your whole ideology is built in opposition to bodily autonomy for people outside your ideals of gender. Sit with that information.*
