Fantasy batfamily fics and art will never not make me feral
And I hate to ask for help finding a fic again but does anyone remember that one fic where Tim got kicked out and was secretly squatting in random abandoned apartments while still being robin and Jason found out?
Another fic I can't find is the one where Jason doesn't realise that tim is robin and starts running into him at diners and decides to help him with homework bc he's worried about this young kid being out alone late at night-
Edit: I found them both!! The second one is Late Night Encounters by paperxcrowns :)

[trying to summon a demon at a haunted house]
Jason: If you want to eat my heart turn that light on!
*nothing happens*
Tim: I think the demon's a wimp.
Dick: You both have lost your minds.
Tim: Wanna lie on the Pentagram?
Jason: Hell yeah.
Jason: *lays on the Pentagram*
Jason: Here we go.
Dick: You're crazy.
Jason: Rock and roll buckaroo!

DPxDC My Brother in the Mirror
Damian doesn't like mirrors.
He never mentioned the fact to other members of the family, but they are detectives and vigilantes, it's their job to be observant. Which, after so many years, becomes a habit.
Damian doesn't actively avoid the mirrors - he has a mirror in his bathroom, he didn't express any discomfort over going into a mirror labyrinth at some carnival they've attended (he expressed disgust over taking part in something so stupid, in his words, but that's a whole another story), and he actually spent a few minutes in front of the funhouse mirrors when no one was looking, watching his own reflection distort in various ways. He also has no problems with his self-image - he doesn't mind pictures of him taken at any time (unless it's Tim, but that's, again, a whole another story), he's drawn a few self-portraits that were rather accurate and he liked them.
He just doesn't like mirrors. For some reason.
His family, both close and extended, never questioned it. They did some gentle research to see if the dislike was caused by some kind of problem Damian was experiencing without telling anyone, but when they found no proof of that, they've just decided it was some quirk of his. Everyone has quirks. Dick doesn't like eating cereal like a normal person, Tim despises sleep, Steph is at war with any color other than purple.
That is, until one day, Tim witnesses Damian sitting in front of a mirror.
He is not even aware of it - the whole family is having a game night, and through some arguments and rearrangements on the couch, Damian ends up sitting on the left side of it, where his back is turned to one of the three mirrors in the room. Tim, who's lost the last round, is slumping in an armchair nearby, pointedly looking away from the screen where Damian and Jason are enthusiastically competing over the first place in Mario Cart. Of course, Tim can't just not watch it since he needs to know their strategies. But turning back around would also be admitting defeat.
The solution? Easy, watch the screen through the mirror.
Which is when he notices it.
Damian in the mirror doesn't act the same as Damian in the room. Out of the corner of his eye, Tim can see the real Damian moving around, shoving Jason with his elbow, fully concentrated on the game, and yelling something. Damian-in-the-mirror is sitting unnaturally still, the back of his head over the couch unmoving.
Tim forgets all about the game when Damian's reflection starts to turn around. Slowly and carefully, eerie in the way the horror movies are, the boy in the mirror turns his head around like an owl, his neck twisting inhumanely.
His eyes are green. Green like the toxic waste, like Jason's madness, like acid in cartoons, like the Waters of Lazarus.
Damian in the mirror smiles, his unblinking, gliwing eyes fixed on Tim, and his teeth are sharp and pointy, and there are too many of them, humans can't smile this wide.
"-im? Tim!" A hand nudges him in the shoulder, and Tim looks away from the mirror, finding Dick standing over him. The noise of the game room returns all at once, and, wait, when did it become quiet for Tim?.. He must have a strange expression on his face because Dick's easy smile falls slightly, and he frowns, "Is everything okay?"
Tim looks back to the mirror, but the green-eyed boy in the mirror is gone, and the mirror only reflects Damian as he is: sitting on the couch.
"Yeah," Tim shakes his head and forces a smile on his lips, "I just zoned out."
"Okay," Dick pats him on the shoulder and gives him the controller, "It's your turn now."
Tim takes the controller and turns around, facing the screen. Tim throws a quick glance at Damian, who had slid down on the couch so his head would not be in the reflection anymore. Tim sees the cold, warning hint to his eye, a clear do not speak of it message.
Tim doesn't like that the mirror is now behind him.

Slightly Crack Batfam AU
Duke, shortly after being adopted, finds an old demon summoning circle burned into the floor under a rug in one of the rooms.
That, combined with some of the literature he finds laying around, leads him to conclude that someone in his new family is secretly a demon and he starts trying to figure out who.
Could it be Bruce, the literal demon of the night?
Dick, who bends and flips effortlessly in ways no normal human could?
Jason seems the most likely, as he climbed out of his own grave, but to be fair, he'd never actually seen Tim sleep.
And then there was Damian.
He never would have guessed that the demon is actually Alfred, summoned by a desperate, distraught Bruce the night of his parents' deaths.
Originally, their deal was just for Alfred to help Bruce get his revenge.
The reason he stuck around, though?
He realized he needed to make sure that Bruce and his collection of equally crazy orphans stayed OUT of the afterlife (and therefore AWAY from the throne of hell, which he has no doubt someone would eventually take) and decided to stay on as their oddly perfect butler.

Dc x Dp Prompt #23: The Custody Battle Turned Romance
A freshly resurrected Jason is found by Single Dad Danny raising a de-aged Dan and Dani who goes "surely one more kid can't hurt?" and takes him in. Danny helps him deal with his catatonia, trauma amnesia, and other side effects of being undead without the need for a Lazarus Pit.
He takes the kid to a therapist Jazz recommended and supports him thoughout his recovery. They did some bloodwork and found out pretty early on he was The Jason Todd-Wayne but then he decided not to reach out and let Jason decided what he wanted once he was recovered.
Danny, Ellie and Jordan love and treat him like family in a way he's never quite had before even with Bruce. They’re just so open and honest about their feelings and never make him feel out of place. So when Danny ask if he’d like to reconnect with the Waynes or stay with the them, Jason chooses to stay with them.
The world has moved on around them, and so has the Batfam. Jason knows about Tim (and talked through his feelings in therapy). He knows about the foundation Bruce created in his memory and the way he very publicly grieved. He witnessed the news over Nightwing nearly beating the Joker to death. He knows enough to decided it’s better to let the dead remain dead. Instead, he becomes Jason Nightingale, eldest adopted son of a mechanic in the Narrows. The family welcomes him with open arms officially accepting him as a brother and son.
Danny supports Jason to finish his high school and college education and Jason decides to be a doctor as an homage to Thomas Wayne and aspires open a free clinic like Leslie Thompkins. They get his death certificate revoked under circumstances of resurrection (which is a thing that actually exists in public documents due to the resurrections that tend to happen in the DC universe) and legally adopt him so that he can go back to school. However, Batman monitors public records to a degree and this gets flagged in the system bc it’s Jason’s death certificate.
Suspicious, but optimistic Bruce informs the rest of the family what he has found out and ask them to come as back up for when he goes to find Jason. He’s investigated and is sure that the family who helped rehabilitate Jason is clean and nice people but he wants his son back. They others also wanna see Jason but are worried if this is a good idea since Jason hasn’t reach out himself and there is paperwork for an adoption in the system. But Bruce decides to track them down anyway.
Bruce shows up as the Nightingale’s door and asks to see Jason. Danny, sympathetic, agrees on the condition Jason wants to see him. Jason is hesitant, but decided it would be good way for both of them to get closure and agrees. Bruce and Jason have a tearful reunion and a long heartfelt conversation at the end of which Bruce says “Let’s go home son”. To which Jason has to awkwardly break it to him, but he has no intention of leaving the Nightingale’s and returning to the Manor. He lets him know that he’s open to meeting the rest of the family at least once more but that Danny is his dad now and Ellie and Jordan are his little siblings.
Bruce is devastated.
He lets the rest of the family know and they all make their visits while Bruce wallows in despair. Normally he wouldn let it go, but he just can’t stand to lose Jason another time. So he decides to take Danny to court in the hopes of getting visitation rights if not split custody.
It’s one of the weirdest cases to hit the Gotham courts: two dads who were never together in any capacity but aren’t antagonistic of each other, are trying to come to a custody agreement over their adopted resurrected child in family court.
Over the course of the court case Bruce sees what a good dad Danny is and bonds with his two “bio” kids. Meanwhile Danny gets to meet Dick, Tim, and Cass (Bruce’s legal kids as of rn) and gets to talk to them about their experiences with Bruce and how much they want to form/reform relationships with Jason. They do form a healthy respect for each other, and accept each other’s places in Jason’s life.
Court case ends up working out in favor of Danny. It’s split custody but he gets custody of Jason majority of the time (as per Jason’s own wishes) and Bruce and the Wayne's still have partial custody and open contact with the Nightingales.
Over the years kids all start to see each other as siblings and both Bruce and Danny as their dads. By the time Damian shows up Bruce and Danny have been functionally co-parenting each others kids for years. They provide support to each other’s kids that the other parent may not be well equipped to, but helping each other improve.
When Damian does arrive his superiority complex is quickly curbed and Bruce puts him into counseling on Danny and Jason’s recommendation. It takes a while, but Damien slowly finally opens up and gets to act like a real kid. Ellie and Jordan, who are around the same age (maybe a bit younger?), love having him over to roughhouse and play princesses/knights/dragons (but with politics and consequences). Sometimes they’ll go out and trick people into thinking they’re triplets.
It’s actually Damien who first suggests parent-trapping Bruce and Danny so that they can be one big family. He obviously gets Dan and Ellie to agree first. Then the three of them bag Tim and Cass. The five of them approach Dick next. Jason is actually the hardest to convince but the manage to get his approval. Thus, these guys try to set up the Oblivious Danny and the Emotionally Constipated Bruce.
And for Flavor, just when it looks like they’re about to get together, one of their past love interests comes into the mix, re-entering their parents’ live just to stir the pot. (Which ex is up to your imagination: Sam, Talia, Val, Selina, Tucker, Wes, Minhkhoa, Harvey)

Okay! So it looks like ghost rider Jason Todd is going to be the winner!!! So I have a few ideas for plots but I’m for sure going to need ur guys’ help
I’d love for some ideas from you guys to make the process a bit easier I’ll give some questions and if you could reply/ repost with some answers that would be great!!
- How does his rider work? (Is it a when the sun goes down deal? Or is it a form he can control/ he suppressed and loses control? )
- What are the circumstances of the family finding out? ( is it a joker situation? A last stand situation? Or a “you kidnapped my bb brother now imma send ur b ass to hell” ? )
- What happens post reveal ( how does the family react? Should Damian know if they met in the league? Are they mad? Hurt? …..scared?….. I think the family knowing would be another reminder of Jason’s death)
- And lastly does it hurt Jason to suppress it? If he suppressed his rider form he’s technically not acting on his obsession as a spirit of vengeance…. Maybe he has to take a few nights off and hide? Maybe that’s why he tries to stay with the outlaws?
I could also do like a 5 times deal with the comic… like five times jason was weird in the field and the 1 time they find out why? It could be a Sirius of him almost losing control…. Or if he hides his skull with the red hood helmet maybe it’s cracked and he runs cause he can’t let them see?
OKAY!!!! Please lmk your thought cause I would love to start working on this!!!

*Damian, watching Jason tend to various bruises after a wrestling match with Artemis*
Damian: Hmph. Only a pathetic simp like you would enjoy being dominated in such a way by a woman. Amazon warrior or not.
Jason: Heh you say that now demon brat. But mark my words, you'll be singing a different tune once you meet your own little spitfire. It's only a matter of time.
Damian: Tt. I sincerely doubt that.
a month later at Gotham Academy
*Ellie, pops out of nowhere to slam and pin Damian to a wall after overhearing him badmouth Danny to Jon behind his back once he walked off with Duke after being introduced*
Ellie: Take it back! Take it back now you snobby S.O.B.! You take back what you said about my brother! Or I'll eat your FiLtHy, ROTTEN SOUL!
*Damian, slack against the wall and heart pounding as he scowls while blushing furiously*
Damian: dammit, Todd was right!

How it all started
Masterpost
The Gotham City Gala was in full swing, a glittering affair where Gotham’s elite rubbed shoulders and made idle conversation under the watchful eyes of the Bat-family. Bruce Wayne was, as usual, playing his role of charming billionaire, while his children spread out across the venue to keep an eye on the crowd.
Damian Wayne, now fifteen, stood near a table of refreshments, his arms crossed as he scanned the room. He hated these events, but his father insisted it was part of his training to learn how to navigate social and political circles.
Jason, standing beside him, nudged his shoulder. “Lighten up, Demon Spawn. Try smiling for once.”
Damian scowled. “I see no reason to.”
Before Jason could retort, Bruce approached, his expression carefully neutral. “Heads up. Vlad Masters just arrived.”
“Who’s that?” Tim asked, joining the group.
“Billionaire from Wisconsin,” Bruce replied. “Big on alternative energy and... other ventures. He’s brought his heir with him tonight.”
“Great,” Jason muttered. “Another spoiled rich kid.”
Bruce shot him a warning look but didn’t respond. Instead, the group turned their attention to the entrance as Vlad Masters entered the room, his presence commanding. Beside him stood a boy about Damian’s age, with raven-black hair and piercing blue eyes.
Damian’s breath caught in his throat.
The boy looked exactly like him.
As Vlad and his ward approached, Bruce stepped forward to greet them. “Vlad Masters. Welcome to Gotham.”
“Bruce Wayne,” Vlad said smoothly, shaking his hand. “It’s an honor. Allow me to introduce my heir, Daniel Fenton.”
Danny offered a polite smile, but his eyes flicked toward the group of teens behind Bruce. His gaze landed on Damian, and he froze.
“Damian?” he whispered, his voice barely audible.
Damian’s heart pounded. There was only one name that surfaced in his mind as he stared at the boy before him.
“Danyal,” he murmured, his voice trembling.
The room seemed to fade around them as they stared at each other.
“Akhi...” Danny whispered, the term slipping out instinctively.
Damian took a shaky step forward, his usually composed demeanor cracking. “You’re alive.”
The rest of the Bat-family exchanged confused glances, but neither Danny nor Damian noticed.
“I thought you were dead,” Damian said, his voice unsteady. “They told me you died. That I failed to protect you.”
Danny shook his head, his eyes glistening. “I thought the same about you. When they took me... I thought I’d never see you again.”
“Wait a second,” Jason cut in, looking between them. “What’s going on here? Demon Spawn, you know this kid?”
Damian shot him a glare. “This is my brother. My twin. Danyal Al Ghul.”
Tim’s jaw dropped. “What?! You have a twin?”
Danny flinched slightly at the name. “Not anymore,” he said quietly. “I don’t use that name. I’m Danny Fenton now.”
Bruce stepped forward, his voice low. “Masters, what is the meaning of this?”
Vlad, who had been watching the reunion with an expression of mild amusement, smiled thinly. “Ah, yes. I suspected this might happen. You see, young Daniel was abandoned as a child. I took him in and raised him as my own.”
“Abandoned?” Bruce asked, his tone icy.
“Yes,” Vlad said smoothly. “I found him injured, near death. He had no memory of his past, so I gave him a new life.”
“That’s a lie,” Damian spat, his fists clenching. “He was taken. Stolen.”
Danny placed a hand on Damian’s shoulder, his touch calming. “I don’t remember much from back then. Just bits and pieces. But I remember you, Akhi.”
Damian’s eyes softened. “I never stopped thinking about you.”
The reunion left the Bat-family reeling. Later, back at the Manor, Damian and Danny sat together, talking quietly. Danny explained how he’d grown up as “Daniel Fenton,” raised by Vlad but always feeling like something was missing.
“I always felt out of place,” Danny admitted. “Like I didn’t belong. But now I understand why.”
“You belong here,” Damian said firmly. “With me. With us.”
Danny hesitated. “I don’t know, Damian. Vlad’s the only father I’ve ever known. And... there’s something I need to tell you.” (danny did get adopted by the fantons. The reason hes with vlad is because Jack and Maddie died b/c the nasty burger exploded with them inside. Jazz is alive tho and she went to collage)
Damian frowned. “What is it?”
Danny hesitated, then took a deep breath. “I’m not entirely... human anymore.”
Damian blinked. “What do you mean?”
“I had an accident,” Danny said quietly. “It changed me. I’m... part ghost.”
When Danny demonstrated his ghost powers, the reactions were mixed.
Jason whistled. “Okay, that’s badass.”
Tim leaned closer, fascinated. “How does it work? Do you have full intangibility? Flight? Invisibility?”
“Mostly,” Danny said, looking sheepish.
Bruce, meanwhile, studied him with a calculating gaze. “We’ll need to run some tests.”
“Bruce,” Diana’s voice cut in as she entered the room. She had just returned from Themyscira. “Let the boy breathe.”
Danny froze, staring at her. “Wait... Wonder Woman?”
Diana smiled gently. “Yes. And you must be Damian’s twin.” She stepped closer, placing a hand on his shoulder. “You’re family now, Danny. Welcome home.”
Danny’s eyes glistened, and he nodded. “Thanks.”
As Danny settled into life with the Waynes, he found himself adjusting to a world that was equal parts chaotic and comforting.
Damian, for his part, was fiercely protective of his twin, vowing never to let him out of his sight again.
Danny smiled as he watched his brother argue with Jason over training methods. For the first time in a long while, he felt like he truly belonged.
And though the shadows of their pasts still lingered, they faced the future together—two brothers, reunited against all odds.

A “buddy” vigilante story where Jason and Tim go back in time during Dick’s time as Robin, when the Worlds Greatest Detective was still young.
Basically, they significantly change the past and in the most annoying way possible. Tim knows that no one will know it was them and has been pretty morally flexible about the whole thing. They go down the list of rogues, down the list of siblings, bickering about it the whole time.
Jason kills the Joker, Tim rescues Cass, and both of them try and get one over on the other about their past selves.
Because Tim tries to talk baby Jason into stealing the Bat’s tires early while Jason’s out murdering Zucco, and Jason’s out snatching Tiny Tim and his camera from rooftops trying to leave him gift wrapped in the batcave while Tim’s out stealing info from Luthor.
It’s one giant clusterfuck but they’re successful because Tim and Jason combined are absolutely lethal and no one ever saw them coming.
Meanwhile, they keep running into Robin and absolutely losing it over seeing their oldest brother so young and angry.
Dick tries to track them down after they killed Zucco, he wants to ask why. What the hell they could possibly be doing or why that would matter to them.
Tim pushes Jason off a roof.Jason lights Tim’s ancient computer on fire. Tim tears a book in half. Jason takes pictures of Tiny Tim and sets them as his wallpaper. It’s a comedy, your honor.
And probably the worst headache Batman will ever get.

I love Gothamites thinking that the batfamily are Cryptids when they're not.
I also love the idea that to begin with, Gothamites know Robin has been a bunch of different human kids that the: Definitely a Cryptid Batman™ (bc let's be honest that thing is not human) has taken under his wing.
I think it makes the Robins scarier to them. Like "There's something fucked up enough about this kid that the Demon Bat took them in." And they're all pretty sure that every time there's a switch in Robin's it's bc the Cryptid Demon Batman thing probably killed them off or something.
They always try and warn off whatever new Robin he's taken in, but whenever they do the New Robin always laughs them off or attempts to assure them that they're fine and not worry.
