tragic that even with how lackluster the umbrella academy’s final season was, we never got to see five’s house.

i want to see where the old man lives. how does he decorate? does he live in an apartment or was he able to figure out a cute little home for himself? does he have roommates? did he ever learn how to cook for himself, or does he just eat fluffernutters whenever he’s hungry? does he ever get a mr. pennycrumb of his own? (i know he doesn’t, but a girl can dream) does he ever discover a cafe near his home where a decent cup of coffee can be found?

what coffee maker does he have? where does he buy his coffee grounds? how many coffee mugs does he have? i just KNOW he collects them.

he absolutely goes into little shops downtown and finds one that says some stupid shit like “if my coffee isn’t as black as my soul, i’m not drinking it” and giggles to himself in the corner and then spends way too much money on it because it’s just too good to pass up. he’ll smile to himself on the way home and then put on a pot of coffee to try it out for the first time. he hand-washes his mugs even though they’re all dishwasher safe because he wants to make sure they’re going to be completely untarnished when he wants to use them again. he has an entire cabinet for all of his mugs and one other cabinet for the rest of his glasses and bowls and plates because he doesn’t own a whole lot but he does like mugs. and someone will ask him about his mugs and he’ll properly tell them where he got each and every one, down to exact dates and times because he remembers everything and thinking about when he found his favorite mugs makes him feel less stressed. and whoever asked will not get a single word in and they won’t try to because five is talking about his mugs and he doesn’t get a whole lot of joy from material things but it is the simple things that matter. and five likes the simple things. and five likes his mugs.

Halloween feels so weird as an adult. Like when ur a kid, the purpose of a costume is to go trick-or-treating !! But then all of a sudden you just… can’t do that anymore.

Enzo doesn't even ask TK if he wants to take care of Jonah. His mind immediately goes to sending him away to a boarding school in Switzerland. Where he'll be away from his big brother. I want to like Enzo but it's kind of hard.

To be fair to Enzo in this moment, he’s trying to provide for his son in the best way he knows how to and that’s in the way that was demonstrated to him as a child (since he says he went to this same school).

Yes, Jonah would be away from his big brother. but how is that different from how it was before? Prior to now it’s not as though Jonah has had much of a physical presence in TK’s life - he was always away from his brother. I don’t think Enzo would be thinking of that as a factor.

If anything I think something to focus on here, especially if you’re trying to be empathetic towards Enzo as a character, is how far away Jonah would be from his father. Enzo is potentially looking at many years locked behind bars and he’s making plans that would mean he wouldn’t get to have visits with his child while in prison. I’m sure that’s not a choice he’s making lightly, because that thought is probably devastating to him as a parent. But he’s making that sacrifice because he thinks he’s doing what’s best for Jonah.

I can’t wait to see the rest of this conversation, and any others they may have, because even from that one line “who is gonna hug him?” we can see that while Enzo is thinking of how he’s going to provide for Jonah financially, TK immediately thinks of how Jonah is going to be cared for emotionally. and that’s so very TK.

It did strike me today in light of all the discussion about “Cassandra” how time and again Taylor’s been accused of things or had her claims dismissed or ridiculed only to eventually be proven right amidst deafening silence, and that the silly ~tea~ from the Ice leaked texts is yet another example of it because it confirmed the Karma collab long predated the MH situation even though she was accused of using Ice as cover for the whole ~scandal~ when it was finally released and idk. (Even though it’s obvious it would have had to have been recorded long before because it takes months to plan and execute these things.) Again she just isn’t given the benefit of the doubt other artists do or the grace when the accusations lobbed against her are disproven. “Do you believe me now?” Indeed.

I can’t remember what canon is like (and there’s so many different versions of canon anyways) but there’s a lot of Spiderman fics where he’s talking to someone he knows as both Peter Parker and Spiderman but they don’t know his secret and there’ll be this lil convo where they’re like “oh did you talk to [his other identity] about that?”

And a good majority of the time he’ll say yes instead of pretending like the two identities just never interact

And I just really really want to know how people think those convos go, like do they think they’re friendly to each other? do they think Peter harasses Spiderman like the paparazzi harass stars? do they think Peter’s just trying to get a couple of pics and Spidey traps him to have someone to tell all his jokes to?

How do people imagine those conversations going???
