The day Kristen Applebees dies, there’s a friend who dies alongside her. She dies in a high school cafeteria on the first day of her freshman year. She meets god, and he sucks. Her parents crowd around her the second they arrive, pulling her into bone-crushing hugs, and she wishes more than anything to not have to go home.

Hot take: if they had been even a little bit more involved in s1, the Thistlesprings would have been good people to take in Kristen!

They're open in a way that directly contradicts everything her parents were against, including about sex and such! She would have actually had adults in the home that she would be able to talk to about it! Also, they're really dedicated and I think would so a better job of checking up with her! Not that Jawbone and Sandra Lynn are doing a bad job, they're just super outnumbered as things are! The Thistlesprings are less busy! Plus I think it's be cute for her and Gorgug to get more screen time together (especially when you consider that he's the first person she talked to in Freshman year idk I think that's nice).

To add to the bit of it all, it would make Kristen and Gorgug siblings to further cement the whole they're-slowly-becoming-one-big-family thing

But like no one has to. And also idk I kinda do. Not to the extent I do with the ratgrinders but like after watching the 7 I do kinda empathize because they're just flat out sad. The only downside to Brennan's dming is that he plays Zelda Donovan SO WELL and because she's an npc/dmpc she can not get a full plot the way the other pcs and I love her too much for that to be her fate. Like I wish we could have gotten her scene in time and space where she had to kill a bunch of other versions of herself??? What was happening there???
