When you see the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge described as one of the most prestigious events in dog sports and you're like how?

You run the same agility course 2 times the day before filming so you can make sure you have it down for the camera. It's run 4 times total. You have to know someone who knows someone to be invited for anything other than disc and dock. It's a production? Not real????

I think because I don't train dogs for a living I don't find a lot of value in it as an accomplishment, so when people talk it up I'm like...it's not that big of a deal? I say this as someone who has done 3 of them, one being the "national."

#hmmm i wonder why i haven't been invited back?????#jk i haven't stayed in touch with anyone connected to the event #or had a dog worth competing with #i only went the years they had NADAC invite people #which i think was just...like 2 or 3 yrs lmfao #now it's just the same akc-usdaa-uki folks #over and over and over again #join me for more cynical takes on dog sport events #i may also be a little bitter for them not airing blue on the national in favor of the dog that placed after her #b/c we did distance and it didn't look good on camera to have a dog running the course without a person lmfao #i don't know that for sure #but that is my suspicion

demanding a series in the same vein (heh, vein) as Dexter/Hannibal wherein a prolific serial killer plays cat & mouse with the police--except the serial killer in question is a preteen schoolgirl. this would make for compelling television due to the fact that middle school frequently causes girls to become deranged, and more media should reflect this

#she hangs out at active crime scenes in a way that should be a red flag but 'evades' the police simply by merit of being in 7th grade #the ONE 'detective'/nemesis who is convinced she had something to do with The Murders #is the classmate who sorta tried to bully her at the beginning of the school year but then the vibes got all intense and sapphic #so she backed off and has been Ignoring the Nerd she does Not have a special interest in #except then The Murders begin and she has so many Suspicions BUT #everytime she confronts the antihero the interaction ends in accidental intimacy followed by furious blushing #the nemesis's father is an (unsympathetic) cop character who repeatedly ignores his daughter's concerns #'dad i think the weird girl in my math class is a serial killer' 'that's not an excuse for failing algebra. go do your homework'

Been thinking about how Donnie and Leo’s insecurities juxtapose each other.

Donnie is insecure about his place in the family, but confident in who he is outside of it.

Leo is secure about being a part of the family, but thinks he’s nothing outside of it.

I think it’s a very interesting comparison that reflects their respective personalities, Donnie’s “Will all I have to offer be enough?” versus Leo’s “Do I even have anything else to offer?”
