Sonic: Hey, I hope it's all right, I told Amy she could join us for dinner. Amy: Hi. Maddie: Hi, baby. Sure, we were just setting the table. Amy: I wouldn't want to intrude. Knuckles: Don't be silly. The more, the merrier. Shadow: That's a false equivalency. More does not equal merry. If there were 2000 people in this apartment, would we be celebrating? No, we'd be suffocating. Tom: Shadow. Shadow: Sorry... Yes, sure, we can share our dinner for six between seven. Tom: It'll be fine. Sit down, guys. [Amy is about to sit on the corner of the couch] The Wachowskis: NO!! Amy: What? Maddie: Sorry we startled you, you just can't sit there. Amy: Why not? Tails: That's where Shadow sits. Amy: He can't sit somewhere else? Shadow [gives her a look and opens his mouth to start explaining] Sonic: No. You see, in the winter, that seat's close enough to the radiator so he's warm yet not so close that he sweats. The entire family and Amy [looks at him in confusion] Sonic: In the summer, it's in the path of a breeze created by opening windows there. It faces the television at an angle that isn't direct so he can talk yet not so wide that the picture looks distorted. Everyone: … Shadow: Perhaps there's hope for you after all. Sonic: Hehe. Do you all want to know what else I can do? [tosses a chocolate into the air and catches it in his mouth in one bite.] Shadow: … Miss Madie, he's being himself again. Tom [sighs in relief]: Oof, balance has returned to our home; I got scared for a minute.

Maddie secretly foreshadowing characters?!

Someone is Twitter noticed this and now I'm curious

the first movie, she wore the bright yellow vest with a blue Denim jacket.. and in the end of the movie we are introduced to Tails.

And in the second movie and the last fight, She wore a red shirt and a black jacket..

And in the end we are introduced to Shadow.

Which begs the question....

Who will be introduced in the end of the third movie?

Based on the tone of pink and purple...

With Maddie’s work I feel like a vet day is a given. The Wachowski boys probably all aren’t used to getting taken care of, so I bet this is a nice change of pace. (Maddie would definitely keep lollipops and superhero bandaids around for whenever the boys come in for a check up)

Tom: I can't even pet his head. Maddie: He just needs time. Tom: Time to what? Eat me? Because it keeps staring at me as if--Aaaaaaaah! [Tom enters the kitchen and is met with two red eyes staring at him in the dark. Shadow opens the fridge, grabs a can, closes it, and leaves without taking his eyes off Tom. Tom is left in the dark kitchen, gasping in terror.] Maddie [still on the phone, which is now on the ground]: Hello? Tom? Hello? Are you there? Tom: …I am for now.
