Shadow the hedgehog for the ask game

First Impression:

Angsty boy who kinda looks like a dark version of Sonic (the first time I ever saw Shadow was the post credits scene of movie 2 and I knew nothing about him 🤣)

Impression now:

Fascinating, powerful, absolutely COOL beyond reason, edgy hedgie, carries guns around and also has PTSD and deep down is just a lonely, anxious, and sad boy who misses his sister 🥹 (can you tell Dark Beginnings ruined me?)

Favorite moment:

This is always hard... I loved the way he took down the G.U.N. ship but then saved the pilot in ep 3 of Dark Beginnings. I loved his redemption arc and sacrifice at the end of SA2. I loved him throughout Prime, especially at the end when he became so protective of Sonic and saved him and then warped the Paradox Prism away with that "I'm the Ultimate Lifeform, I go wherever I want." I JUST LOVE A LOT OF MOMENTS WITH HIM 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

Idea for a story:

I need to write a one-shot of him and Rouge just having a long and therapeutic talk after Shadow Generations and all that trauma bc c'mon my boy was CRYING by the end and Rouge KNEW IT and I just need him to talk about it and I need him to get a hug bc we know now that he is most easily soothed by physical touch and who better to give that to him than his best friend jssknfmcskndncmsksnf PLS I'm probably gonna write this anyway hahahahahahaa

Unpopular opinion:

Hrrmmm. Maybe that he sees Sonic as something of a little brother. (Most evidence for this is in Prime but yeah. Don't bother arguing your stuff, this is just my opinion and I really don't care to fight over stupid stuff I'm here to have fun ok)

Favorite Relationship:

In one sense, he and Maria are the obvious choice. They were siblings in every sense but blood and they loved each other so much. Everything about their bond was unexpected and unplanned, but it existed and Gerald loved it. We love it.

In another sense, post-ARK incidence, Shadow and Rouge. Whether you see it platonically or romantically, their bond is so sweet. Shadow has probably opened up more to Rouge than anyone else. She is one of the only people he currently trusts, and he is one of the few people Rouge sobers up around. The things they say to each other and how they're both protective of each other is just so precious to me and I love every interaction of theirs. 🥰

He's a cat lover. 🤣🥰

Corrupted AU:

After unleashing his full power and defeating The End, Sonic lands back on Ouranos Island… but things aren't quite right. Instead of slowly descending towards his friends, he crash lands like a meteor, fully taken over by the Cyber Corruption, and attacks his friends in a frenzy.

When the dust settles and Sonic comes to days later, it becomes clear that things are not quite back to normal. Sonic has lost amnesia and is seemingly unable to speak.

Now, Sonic has to navigate his life having no memory of who any of these people who call themselves his "friends" are, trying to reform lost bonds and keep his Cyber Corruption in check. But things aren't the same- HE isn't the same- and may never be.

Enchanted AU:

Sonic is the lead singer of the Sunset Squad, a band formed by him and his two adoptive brothers, Tails and Knuckles. Childhood trauma holds him in a vice, however; stealing his voice from the public and keeping him trapped in an endless mental loop of trying and failing to take the next step in life.

Amy has been fighting to becoming a full-time soloist — just as she has dreamed of since she was a child. Stuck at an extended block of no progress — and trying to ignore her own loneliness and frustration —  she's led to take a step towards a promising opportunity, only to find herself in a chance encounter that leaves her stunned.

A chance encounter leads to an unlikely but much needed friendship, which slowly transforms into something more.

First Impression:

A flirty girl thief who was apparently shipped with Knuckles a lot.

Impression now:

Girlboss, absolute queen, a little silly, total flirt, still a thief haha.

Favorite Moment:

I have many, but I'll have to say that moment in 06 when she said that thing to Shadow, "Even if you feel like the whole world's against you, know that I'll always be at your side. Remember that." 🥺 For all her silliness I love her serious side.

Idea for a story:

Hmmm... maybe a backstory on why she's a thief? I've seen ideas that maybe she grew up in a poor family so she at first resorted to stealing to survive, but then after she'd gotten a life for herself, she'd gotten so used to stealing that she switched to jewels. Or just that she really likes shiny things. 🤣 Idk.

Unpopular Opinion:

Idk if I have any about her... She should 100% be in the SCU at some point. She's one of the best female characters. Idk how many people agree lol, I really don't care if people agree with my thoughts or not on character so I don't usually go a-looking. 🤣

Favorite Relationship:

Ugghhhh..... 😂 Idk!! I love her dynamic with Knuckles because it's amusing and funny and I ship it, but I also love her sweet and caring relationship with Shadow and how she's always trying to get him to socialize and I also ship THAT. 🤣 Both I guess lol

Favorite Headcanon:

Maybe the one that she and Amy are actually really good friends and have girls nights here and there and bond over pretty things they like and boys and stuff 😂
