I fully support the idea that Knuckles and Shadow are momma's boys, and that Shadow is a physical affection type of person which leads to hand holding often.

i loved him in this movie. he was so silly and fun but actually acted serious when he needed to. he developed and matured so much. when he decided to give sonic the thing he had looked for HIS WHOLE LIFE because he didn’t want to fight him? because he preferred to trust his brother and his good heart rather than harm his family? i just-

he is THE big brother 🥹 he looked after sonic and tails the whole time, he was so protective over them.

i was 100% satisfied with what they did with knuckles in this movie. the only thing i missed was him interacting a bit more with his newfound parents but i understand there was too much going on.

i just physically need to hear him call maddie “mum” once :”)

edit: also, another thing i didn’t catch since i watched the movie in italian

They're so cute 🥹🥹 Knuckles is cheering and Tails is reaching up for Maddie and Tom has his arm around his wife and everyone's smiling and in the last couple pics Knuckles looks just as warm and happy as everyone else and they're all cuddled so close and they love each other so much

So I watched the 3rd movie trailer

I am SO HYPED the brain rot is coming back full force

Gotta count on the freaking Movie Novelization of Sonic 3 for delivering on the aspect of Tom and Maddie being the parents to the trio, most notably Sonic, AND having him call Tom “dad” on multiple occasions and even having Tom refer to Sonic as his son, since we didn’t get them saying that at least once in the actual film,

(Ignore the sudden change from light to dark, I was reading it as my dark theme turned on)

Still bummed that Maddie isn’t included in that aspect STILL, and no Sonic doesn’t call her mom in the novel either…..

How did Tom and Maddie reacted when Sonic told them that he is dating Shadow?

And if I'm wrong ...

Have Sonic and Shadow planned to hace children?

I actually didn't draw for movie verse yet! I get the confusion since I give them separated eyes, but no movie AU yet!

I plan to do some sometimes soon, and when that happens you can p much expect Tom and Maddie NOT happy, like:

Can I say how happy I am with Knuckles' characterization in this third movie?! I mean, he was TOTALLY A BIG BROTHER, he protected Sonic and Tails at several moments and had the maturity not to get into a fight against Sonic because he trusted him, trusted that he, even though blinded by the anger of seeing Tom hurt, would make the right decision about using the emerald, he put himself between Sonic and Tails at the moment when Sonic almost lost his head, Knuckles was simply perfect!

Sonic and Tails spent Knuckles' entire time away making an absolute racket to keep Maddie and Tom from discovering that he snuck away

Since it's Knuckles Wachowski's week, I rewatched both movies, the first a couple nights ago and the second tonight.

And may I just say

No fictional characters have ever awakened my maternal instincts as strongly as the Wachowski children have.

I MEAN?!?!

I AM VERY WELL AWARE OF WHAT THEY'RE ALL CAPABLE OF, BUT???

I look at them and I think "SMOL. SMOL SOFT CHILDREN. SMOL SOFT BEBIES WHO HAVE HURT AND I MUST HELP AND PROTECC AND LOVE AND NURTURE THEM."

While I loved the Knuckles series, I did wish that they'd put more emphasis on the Wachowskis being the "home" for Knuckles that they kept talking about. So I slightly edited the scene of Wade talking to unconscious Knuckles to reflect that better!
