Had a really long weekend, and my schedule's become incredibly busy what with work and classes and all, so I'm probably going to be taking a bit of a break from anything productive this week 🫠

Sorry to bother you, but I just stumbled upon your comic and checked your profile and stuff, ans am highly intrigued by this story.

I'm just having a hard time finding the start. The page I found has a 'previous' button, but it seems your comic is longer than three pages already, and I was hoping to see the first page before everything else.

I love your art, and it’s so cool that you’re Christian!!

I myself am struggling with accepting a LGBTQ+ affirming worldview, because of the confusion whether the Bible allows it or not. Personally coming from a life where it’s considered Sin, I’m so scared on crossing a line of being ”saved” or not if I live a life as an outed and affirming Bi. Is there a place you would recommend that introduces people to an affirming view? You don’t have to answer this of course, especially since it’s not what you usually post. I really do need to pray because it’s weighing on me. Thank you if you read this anyway <3

And I'm so sorry that this is something you're struggling with right now :( I know firsthand how hard that can be.

I don't really know if there's necessarily a specific place.

This is a really hard question, because religion is so so personal and a lot of people have different opinions and worldviews, it's difficult to discuss the matter without accidentally stepping on toes, especially on such a public platform like social media.

I struggled with this kind of thing for a very long time. It seemed everywhere I turned to, it was LGBTQ+ vs Christianity, which was really hard because while being LGBTQ+, Christianity was all I ever really knew. Both were and still are very important aspects of my life and identity.

But there was a time when I fell away from religion and distanced myself from God, and it led me to some bad headspaces. After a while, I realized that I missed having that connection, and decided it was time for a change.

The whole discussion about whether the Bible allows it or not was one of the things I struggled with the most as well.

And I don't really know if I have an answer or not.

What I do know, is that I believe in a merciful Savior who meets us where we are. He knows us perfectly, and He knows exactly what our intentions are and where our heart is. I strongly believe that if you do what you think is right, everything will work out. I just can't see how someone would be condemned because they tried to be true to themselves and do the best they can.

My advice is to pray and ask God <:)

He will answer - maybe not right away, maybe not in the way you expect, but he will.

For the POE au

What was life like before they entered the simulation? Was it similar to how the show is?

So Project Eden came around shortly after the events of the movie (give or take a couple months)

But the actual story of POE!AU starts up about a year and a half after the movie.

Basically, it's was the exact same as the show! Petals of Eden is merely a continuation of canon events.

are the POE! boys aware they have ninpo? Donnie looked confused about it in the comic where he saved Leo, but didn't take the time to focus on it (obviously cause his twin's sobbing in his arms) so maybe when everyone locked in the simulation their memories of their ninpo were fully erased? but it still exists and can help them... is Karai going to show up? there so many possibilities with this story concept!

Nope, they aren't aware. The only one who remembers is Leo (though he can't use his ninpo right now.)

Of course, after that moment on the rooftop, Donnie came to realize that mystic abilities prominent in stories and mythology do indeed exist and still exist.

There was some repercussions thanks to him (unintentionally) using his ninpo that night, something that I'm planning on diving into. To make a long story short, the government (or Eden really) doesn't like to encourage the use of mystic powers.

Yk whats funny. I used to have a series called Project Eden. Actually not series, just a little project i worked on, on and off throughout the course offfffff *checks notes* like 2021-2023?1 only had characters and a basic idea and Its been scrapped now, but i just thought it was funny that you're making an AU with something called Project Eden. I actually might start it up again if i have motivation....

Ok but anyways I wanted to ask about PE(yours)(uh when i say PE im referring to project Eden, not the actual poe! Au).

What exactly *is* project eden? I saw in another ask you were talking about the matrix(I didn't read the entirety of the ask and ive never seen the movie, so bear with me if im wrong TvT) but is this going to be where everyone's consciousness is trapped in a digital world? Like, their bodies are outside of the world, so when their real bodies die, thats when people die in world? I feel like that might make sense.

Another theory is like, yk the ball where everyone in nyc was trapped? Forgot what episode but it was end of rottmnt s2? What if this is like that? Raph and draxums bodies weren't found because they fell through a crack? Im rambling i really don't know where im going with this anbxisbfiejeiwjxi.

So. Leo survied the crash. We know he went to a hospital for delusions or something(delulu is the solulu labzjsb) hshdksxhwhwcjwvc i fordor, but what happened before that? Was he missing before popping up somewhere, or was he rescued from the crash? If he was rescued from the crash sight(unless he got knocked out/got a concussion, etc) woulsn he know what happened to raph and draxum? I mean he was there with them. Also after, was leo in a comma or was he just really shook up or something in between? Oof i just realized how long this was sk xjsbdd uhm. Be prepared. After the crash, Leo was in really bad shape. Physically, he recovered remarkably fast, despite severe brain trauma and other injuries, including losing most of his arm.

Mentally, he was a mess. He became obsessed with "escaping a digital world" he completely believed he was trapped in. He was determined to find Raph, to the point of attempting to take his own life.

Fortunately, Donnie was there to stop him before anything bad happened.

Shortly after, he was checked into a psychiatric hospital.

As for Project Eden, your theories aren't that far off. Really, it's sort of a hybrid of your ideas.

Honestly, for Woven Ties. . . idk XD

Leo of course is hands down the gayest old cis-man on the planet. When he was younger (especially in his teen years) he used to be really self conscious about it. Nowadays, he's perfectly comfortable in his homosexuality. There was a time (after Winter) where he thought he'd gone aromantic, but that theory sputtered and died when he met Usagi.

Mikey's either aroace or pansexual. If not aroace, then at the very least asexual. I haven't decided yet between the two, maybe he's both, idk. Currently, he's not really interested in relationships and hasn't ever really had the desire to be in one. That might change in the future, who knows. He's just fine and could easily live a long and happy life where he is.

Personally, I've always seen Raph as bi. He just hits me as the kind of turtle who likes men and women alike. And it's completely normal to him too, like he's always been that way. It's just until recently that he found out it was called bisexual.

I've always seen Donnie as a straight cis guy, but very supportive. He's the kind of dude who will throw hands with anyone who's homophobic to his brothers. He's the guy who buys more LGBTQ+ related merch than the actual LGBTQ+ members of his family. As for Petals of Eden. . . That's also hard, dang :') It's pretty similar in some aspects to WT. But I'm still figuring this AU out, so things might change? Maybe? For now, this is what I got:

Leo's the most difficult to figure out because of certain psychological related reasons. . . He's gay, bi, and aroace basically. Not all at once, no. Well, sometimes. It's complicated haha. . .

I'm actually leaning toward Mikey being more pansexual in this AU for some reason. Like, I can just see POE!Mikey being more of a romantic than WT!Mikey is.

If you need to know anything about me, know that no matter the universe, I always headcanon Raph as bisexual. He's just. He's bi, guys. I don't know what else to say XD

I kinda like the idea of Donnie being bisexual or maybe polysexual. And maaaybe leaning gender queer? (though I still need to figure out what that means specifically for him.)

I generally just wanted to go with some of my personal favorite headcanons for the boys, so yeah. Anyhow.
