I’m currently making a bunch of doodles involving this AU but some of them got kind of dark so idk if I should post them here with a content warning or post it on a different account. (it's not nsfw but it's Sonic being kidnapped and tortured.) 🤔

Post Sonic 3 AU in which the only way Sonic and friends are allowed to go out in public is if they wear shock collars that supress their chaos energy. The government has been cracking down on chaos users ever since the moon was split in half. (Also Big Ben was partially destroyed by Knuckles; the British didn’t like that one bit.) If they even try to use their powers, they get zapped. The only people that can take off the collars are Tom, Maddie, and Gun. People start taking advantage of their weakened state so they don’t have a good time.

Shadow is hiding from the public with the help of Agent Stone so when he eventually finds out about the shock collars and Sonic being hurt because of them, he obviously gets enraged. Sonic wishes he could go back to Mobius since he feels like it isn’t safe to be on Earth anymore, but he doesn’t want to leave Tom and Maddie so he endures it.

Edit: Sonic eventually gets kidnapped so Shadow and Agent Stone go on the hunt to save him. Definitely didn’t involve killing a few people.

Well, SCU writers, Pat Casey and Josh Miller did say in a Sonic 3 interview that they hope they can do Amy Rose justice. I agree that showing Amy Rose in a Super form would be a fantastic way to give her character the justice she deserves.

Apparently in the Classic Amy games, Amy had a Hyper Amy form, but this version of her wasn't used to its fullest potential. Whether the SCU writers do their own version of Super Amy and/or possibly adapt from the Hyper Amy counterpart (though with her current design), I reckon showing a more powerful form of Amy would be absolutely awesome.

I imagine that Sonic either shows enough trust in Amy to ask her to join him in Super form when the two enter an epic battle, and/or Sonic attempts to use the Master Emerald in battle but is stopped by Metal Sonic or some other major villain at the last minute. Determined to stop the main villain from destroying everything she loves and the boy hedgehog she's fallen for, Amy takes it upon herself to use the Master Emerald's power to stop Metal Sonic and fights him in an epic battle.

I imagine Sonic being in awe of Amy's Super and/or Hyper form. I reckon he'd give an awestruck "Woah!" and Amy responding wittily and little flirtatiously with: "I see I've left you speechless, Sonic." I could then see Sonic going into his long speech about how awesome Amy was (and even hints to how awesome she looks as well) which leaves her feeling flattered but also remarks "Sonic...very flattered...but let's focus on taking down the bad guy first." Maybe she is the one to join hands with Sonic and the two them fight the main villain together as a team.

I suppose that Tails and Knuckles could have Super and/Hyper forms too, so long as they don't steal Amy's thunder. Unless it's to show that she's well and truly accepted into the Team, which is what she truly wants anyway.

OK I've seen some people be worried so I do wanna clarify something about Sonic Movie 3:

they DO make it clear that the military was trying to kill Maria

the change from it being a direct shot to an explosion was probably to keep the rating low, but they WERE pointing guns at that 12yo

walters said "those are children" and the soldier responded "we have our orders"

they WERE killing that 12yo whether it was via bullet or boom

just bc the bullet missed doesnt mean it wasnt aimed for her and shadow

it was clear that the military killed maria.

shadow never mentioned this to sonic tho which i think he should've bc it's gonna be a jolt for sonic in movie like 7 when shadow's like "did i never mention the military executed my sister" and sonic's like "they did WHAT"
