if sonic 3 gives us anything it needs to give us shadow and maria being actually happy on the ark. i know that shadow went through horrendous medical trauma growing up but with maria he was happy!! she was a safe haven for him!! nobody could hurt him while they were together and vice versa. they were happy together until it all went to shit!! he had a soul identical to hers they were both just silly kids and they were happy...

Summary: Despite the happiness surrounding Nicholas, the unease in his gut overcomes it.

When visions of what they could be plagues his mind, Sonic forgets to appreciate what he has. Luckily, Knuckles is there to remind him.

“Nick, c’mon! We have to return to dad’s side.” Andrew says to him, trying to drag him away from where he is glued on the glass between them and a bunch of newborn babies.

“But I wanna see Miles!” He whines, standing on his toes so that he can see the babies in the back, but he fails to recognize any that might be his baby brother.

“Aren’t you worried about mom?” Andrew’s question takes him aback, and he turns to him fully, nodding with a tinge of guilt in his face. He lets Andrew drag him, the boy’s bigger hands clasping his, and he eyes his brother’s broad back. Despite them being Irish twins, Andrew is more well-built, and taller than he is, which always results in people thinking he is a lot younger, ‘ the baby of the house’. With the arrival of the youngest, that is going to change. Nicholas smiles to himself, he is going to be the best big brother ever! They are in front of their mother’s room in a short while, and Andrew gently knocks the door. Their dad welcomes them with a stern, but concerned gaze.

Finished watching Knuckles show. What the fuck. Who made this? Who wanted so desperately to make a shitty low budget 80s bowling movie but got forced to make a knuckles tv show. I think they genuinely forgot Knuckles was supposed to be in this for the second half and then just shoved him on screen sometimes because they remembered they legally had to have him on screen for at least 5 minutes per episode. And they minmaxed that HARD.

And WHAT THE FUCK was up with that whole fuckin. Flames of Disaster Iblis bullshit???????????
