"Crosshair come on, we're going in a minute." Hunter called up the stairs.

"I'm well aware Hunter." Crosshair snarked back.

Hunter just sighed and rolled his eyes.

Meanwhile Echo was triple checking the car and Fives' pickup to make sure all the essentials had been packed.

"Alright, that should be everything." Echo said closing the car trunk firmly.

"Omega, Crosshair we're leaving in a minute!" Hunter called up the stairs.

"Coming!" Omega called back.

She came down only moments later smiling at Hunter and clearly very excited.

"I'm ready." She said smiling up at him.

"Good girl, go wait in the car alright, I'll be there with Crosshair in a minute." Hunter said.

Omega smiled and got in the backseat of the car where Echo and Tech were waiting.

"Hey sweetheart, ready for the trip?" Echo asked her.

"Uh huh, can't wait." Omega smiled nodding eagerly.

After a couple of minutes of waiting Hunter finally came out with a grumpy looking Crosshair.

"Is Crosshair alright?" Omega asked noticing the look on his face as he approached the car.

"He'll be fine, Crosshair just doesn't like travelling in cars on long trips." Tech told her.

"Why?" Omega asked curiously.

"He thinks they're too slow for one, Crosshair is the kind of person who just likes to get from A to B, plus on bad days he'll sometimes get carsick, which isn't a pleasant experience let me tell you." Echo said.

Crosshair opened the side car and climbed into the passenger side seat.

"Hi Crosshair." Omega greeted as Crosshair put his seat belt on.

"Hey." Crosshair responded buckling in.

Omega was about to speak again but was interrupted by Hunter getting into the driver's seat.

"We all ready?" Hunter asked and the others nodded.

With that Hunter started the car and drove off the driveway.

They met up with Cobalt and Wrecker's families and with that the trip began.

Half an hour later:

"Havoc 3 to Havoc 4 come in." Wrecker's voice spoke over the handheld radio in Crosshair's hand.

Crosshair ignored it.

"Havoc 4 come in, Havoc 4.....come on Crosshair you promised." Wrecker said now a little impatient.

Crosshair chuckled in amusement and spoke into it.

"Havoc 3 this is Havoc 4, what do you want I'm trying to read." Crosshair said impatiently.

"I just wanted to see how you were doing, over." Wrecker said.

"We're fine Wrecker, Omega's watching Lilo and stitch on her tablet, Echo's reading some sappy romantic novel, Tech's scrolling on YouTube, Hunter's driving and giving Echo a mini heart attack reaching for the snacks every five minutes, and I'm trying to read my true crime novel...over." Crosshair said.

Crosshair heard Wrecker's chuckling over the radio.

"Yeah pretty much the same here, the twins are watching Peter Pan, Cynthia's listening to music and Katie's telling me the recipes in the cook book she's reading...maybe I should make a couple of things from it while we're away, over." Wrecker said.

"Sounds lovely, now can I get back to what I'm doing, over." Crosshair said.

"Roger Havoc 4, over and out." Wrecker said hanging up.

Omega giggled in the backseat having overheard the whole thing.

"What was that about?" She asked Echo curiously.

"Well there were a few of us as kids so mom and dad had to take us on long trips in separate cars, it was something we did to stay in touch, and it just stuck I guess." Echo shrugged.

With the Starlings:

They'd been driving for about an hour  and a half when the silence in the car was broken by James' voice.

"Dad, I need to pee." He said.

Wrecker had to stop himself from snorting in amusement, this was almost a regular thing with at least one of the boys (though usually James) on long trips.

"Bad?" He asked.

"Really bad." James nodded

Wrecker shook his head in amusement and picked the handheld radio.

"Havoc 1 this is Havoc 3." Wrecker said.

"Roger Havoc 3, what is it?" Hunter asked.

"Pee break, over." Wrecker said.

"James?" Hunter asked amusement barely hidden in his voice.

"Yep." Wrecker chuckled.

"I need to go too dad." Sarah said suddenly.

"Scratch that, both twins." Wrecker said.

"Havoc 1, this is Havoc 5, Daniel also needs the bathroom, plus Joey is getting restless back here, I'd definitely recommend stopping soon." Cobalt said.

"Copy that Havoc 3, Havoc 5, standby a moment." Hunter said.

Hunter looked at Omega through the rear view mirror.

"Omega, do you need to go too?" He asked.

Omega nodded.

"There's a services about fifteen minutes away, we can stop there." Tech interjected.

"Did you hear that guys?" Hunter asked.

"Yeah, sounds good." Cobalt said

"Yeah, see you there." Wrecker said.

"Roger and out." Hunter said putting aside the radio.

Soon they arrived at the service station and they all got out their cars and met at the entrance.

"Alright, who needs the toilet, raise your hands." Hunter said to the kids.

The Starling twins, Daniel and Omega all raised their hands and Martha and Echo took them to the bathroom.

Crosshair along with Joey decided to go for a walk around the services to stretch their legs until the others got back.

The others all decided to check the cars and make sure everything was ok before setting off again, thankfully the only thing that was needed was for the petrol to be topped up.

Martha, Echo and the kids headed to the bathrooms, Martha taking Omega and Sarah into the girls one and Echo taking Daniel and James into the boys one.

When they got into the girls bathroom Omega and Sarah both noticed all the stalls were full.

"Oh no." Omega said seeing this.

"I gotta go!" Sarah said crossing her legs tightly and shuffling from foot to foot.

The pair waited for a moment, then Omega noticed one of the stalls become free.

"Sarah look." Omega said tapping her on the shoulder and pointing.

Sarah looked at her.

"You can go first." Omega said.

"You sure?" Sarah asked.

"Yeah go ahead." Omega smiled.

"Thanks." Sarah smiled before rushing into the stall and closing the door behind her.

The kids dealt with their business quickly, washing and drying their hands afterwards before they as well as Echo and Martha went back to the others.

Once Crosshair and Joey returned they set off again.

A few hours later it was getting late and they stopped at the inn Tech had booked for the night and they met up at the entrance.

"Alright, you kids all got your pj's and toothbrushes?" Echo asked.

The kids all nodded and with that they all headed inside.

Echo got the keys from the front desk and then turned towards the others.

"Ok here's how we'll split eveyone up for the night, Cobalt, Martha and Daniel you're in this room, Wrecker and Katie you're in this room, Joey, Boba and Cynthia you're in here, Omega, Sarah and James you're in this room, Tech and Crosshair you're in this room, Trix and Fives you're here and Hunter and I are in this room." Echo said handing out the keys.

They all said their goodnights a headed into their rooms getting ready for bed and falling asleep.

The Batch family camping trip (a bad batch modern au series)

Date: July 12th 2020

At Hunter's house:

Omega was in her bedroom going through the clothes she was bringing with her. They were going for a week so first she had made sure to pack plenty of underwear, socks and her pajamas. Additionally she'd packed her hiking boots as Sarah had mentioned there was some nice nature trails in the area and they typically visited them.

Next she packed a couple of tank tops and some regular short sleeve shirts as it was apparently going to be quite warm were they were going, however she packed a couple of Sweaters just in case, and finally she packed some jeans and shorts.

She was about to finish packing when she heard a knock on the door.

Omega opened it revealing Hunter on the other side.

"Hi Hunter." She smiled.

"Hey, got something for you." He said holding out a bag.

She looked inside and saw a light blue one-piece swimsuit with pink and white outlined stripes.

"A swimsuit?" She asked confused.

Hunter nodded.

"We figured it'd be nice for you to learn how to swim, if you want." He said.

Omega nodded though she felt nervous.

Seemingly picking up on this Hunter smiled warmly at her.

"It's OK if you're nervous, but I think it'll be good for you to learn, try for me at least, ok." Hunter said.

Omega nodded.

"Now, you almost packed?" Hunter asked noticing her nearly full case.

"Yep, just got to put a couple more things in." She said.

"Ok, dinner's gonna be ready soon, want me to call you when it's ready?" He asked.

"Yes please." Omega said pulling the swimsuit out from the bag and neatly folding it.

Hunter smiled and walked out the door closing it behind him.

Omega listened as his footstepss crossed the hall before heading downstairs and into the kitchen.

Omega had soon finished packing her case, she closed it and lay down on her bed.

As excited as she was about this family trip she'd never been on one like it before, her mother had certainly not taken her on any trips, or out of the house for that matter, she'd only been allowed in the garden for a strict period of time before being taken in by her brothers.

Now she was going to school, the park with friends and her cousins, out with friends and all sorts of other things she wouldn't have thought possibly this time the year before.

However she was determined not to waste a moment of her new freedom with her brothers and she really wanted to enjoy this trip.

Next thing she knew she was being woken up by Hunter's voice calling her from downstairs telling her that dinner was ready.

Yawning she got up and stretched for a moment before heading downstairs with a newfound enthusiasm inside her.

At Hunter's house the adults and kids were relaxing after getting home from work and school respectively.

The kids were all sitting in the living room watching a movie on the TV, the adults were all in the kitchen discussing a surprise they had in store for the kids.

"So the sites definitely been booked?" Echo asked.

"Oh Yeah, Tech was very precise with the bookings." Hunter said rolling his eyes.

Tech shot Hunter a look.

"I was making sure we had the best spots available depending on the weather and size of our tents, I very much doubt you'll be complaining when you see it for yourself." He said stiffly.

"Yeah OK Tech." Cobalt said calming Tech's ego before an argument could start.

"I think they'll love it, remember when mom and dad used to take us camping there." Echo said.

"Yeah, and mom constantly fussing over us and making sure we had enough sunscreen on." Fives said.

"Dad's famous barbecues." Trix said.

"Roasting marshmallows over an open fire." Hunter said.

"Going to the towns in the lake district and the scenery." Cobalt said.

"Spotting all the various animals that live in the area." Tech said.

"Relaxing in the shady trees." Crosshair said.

"And the lovely food in the pubs there." Wrecker said.

All the brothers chuckled fondly at the memories.

"So, should we tell them now?" Martha asked.

"As we are leaving for the campsite on Sunday afternoon, stopping for the night at a motel and then arriving Monday morning we should definitely tell them tonight, that way we can ensure everything is packed for Sunday morning." Tech said.

Everyone else nodded in the and they headed into the living room.

The kids were waiting for an advert on the TV to clear when the adults came in.

They looked at them expectantly.

"Hey kids, we've got a surprise for you." Trix said.

"What is it, is it candy?" Joey asked excitedly.

Cobalt chuckled.

"No bud, not candy." Cobalt said.

The kids waited for the adults to tell them.

"We're going camping in the lake district at the weekend." Hunter announced and the kids cheered.

Omega however despite how cheerful she looked, she also looked apprehensive.

"I've never been camping before, but it sounds fun." She said.

"It is, dad's taken me, James and Cynthia to the lakes loads of times, you'll love it there, it's super relaxing." Sarah told her.

Omega nodded smiling.

Crosshair watches "Caught on Dashcam" religiously, he gets a laugh out of watching other people's shenanigans while he sits back eating a bowl of popcorn with Batcher on his lap

Tbb modern au headcannons part 2:

Cobalt, Fives and Crosshair are all avid motorcycle owners, Cobalt rescued a used one from being scrapped when he was 16 and repaired it himself, Fives bought his after saving a few paychecks from his first job and 99, Shaak ti and the others all bought Crosshair his as a graduation present

The Fett family live on a cottage on a former ranch and while there are no longer any farm animals there it had plenty of garden space to run around and play

When 99 and Shaak ti retired Cobalt inherited the house as he and Martha had just adopted Joey and the others all agreed it would be the perfect place for then to begin their family additionally at the time Hunter and Trix were sharing an apartment with Echo and Fives, Tech was in college and Crosshair was living at an apartment nearby so Tech didn't have to regularly commute home

Nala Se and the batch's father (I ain't spoiling that reveal) weren't married, it was purely an arrangement solely meant to benefit Nala Se

Every 4th of July they all gather at Cobalt's house and have a barbecue inviting close friends and family members such as 99 and Shaak ti, Cut, Suu and their kids, the Skywalkers, Shep, Lyana, Phee and others

Wrecker is the one who mainly cooks the meat (the man does not mess around with the grill)

Every evening after the party everyone heads down to the beach for the annual fireworks display

As a child 99 and Shaak ti regularly took the boys to the beach where they'd celebrate at the 4th of July carnival, more than a few times this has ended up with the boys getting stomach aches from eating too much sugar

Star Wars the clone wars darkness rising: season 1

Episode 3: Cobalt

With a new addition to the 501st they return to helping save the galaxy from the evil separatists, however there is a secret about their newest member, a secret he has yet to share with his new brothers.

Ashoka Tano and a small squad of clone troopers have been sent to investigate a separatist outpost on the planet Ryloth.

Republic shuttle:

The Republic shuttle was heading towards the planet, inside Ashoka Tano, Trix and several troopers were waiting for it to land.

Next to Trix was the 501st's newest member, a clone commando named Cobalt, who had been rescued and taken in by the 501st after his squad had been killed.

"You ready for this Cobalt?" Trix asked the commando with a grin.

"Yeah, just give me some droids to blast." Cobalt said

"I like that attitude." Trix said.

Ryloth:

Republic General Cham Syndulla as well as clone captian Howzer were waiting patiently as the shuttle headed towards the landing platform.

The shuttle approached and landed.

The ramp opened and Ashoka, Trix, Cobalt and the troops descended from the ramp.

"Thank you for coming in such a hurry." Cham said.

"It's no problem at all general Syndulla, always willing to help, I'm commander Ashoka Tano, this is lieutenant Trix and clone commando Cobalt." Ashoka said shaking his hand.

"My name is Cham, Cham Syndulla, and this is my captian Howzer."Cham said.

"Greetings commander." Howzer said shaking her hand as well.

"Shall we head to the briefing room?" Cham asked.

Ashoka nodded and Cham led them all there.

Later:

In the briefing room Cham, Howzer, Gobi Glee, Ashoka, Trix and Cobalt were looking for looking at a hologram of the outpost.

"This looks like a pretty tough outpost to get into, there's guards nearly everywhere." Trix said.

"I've infiltrated many outposts like this with my old squad, I think I know a few weak points in the structure of the base." Cobalt said.

"Where would those be?" Howzer asked.

"There are three underground tunnels that connect to the main base, compared to the main section of the base they're relatively unguarded and we should be able to infiltrate them with ease." Cobalt said.

"You're suggesting a three pronged attack, I like it." Howzer nodded.

"It would be best to attack each tunnel at once, therefore scrambling the droids." Cham nodded.

"I believe Ashoka and Cobalt should take one tunnel, Trix and Howzer the second one, Gobi and I will take the third one." Cham said.

"Sounds like a plan." Ashoka nodded.

They all headed to get ready.

Trix was checking his blaster when Ashoka approached him.

"Hey Trix, can I talk for a minute?" Ashoka asked.

"Sure commander, what is it?" Trix asked.

"Have you noticed anything off, about Cobalt?" Ashoka asked.

Trix shook his head.

"Not really, should we be worried?" Trix asked.

"No, it just feels like there's something he's not telling us." Ashoka said.

"Maybe we should try and ask him after the mission." Trix said.

Ashoka nodded.

Meanwhile Cobalt overheard them.

"You should tell them." a voice inside his head said.

"No, I can't." Cobalt muttered under his breath.

"They have a right to know." The voice hissed.

"Yes, they do, but would they understand." Cobalt muttered.

Cobalt was knocked out of his thoughts when he felt a land touch his shoulder.

"You alright Cobalt?" Trix asked.

He nodded.

"You sure, you look as though you've got something on your mind." Trix said.

Cobalt shook his head.

"I-It's nothing important, come on brother, we need to go." Cobalt said heading to his gunship.

Trix followed though he was certainly suspicious.

Later:

Three gunships were approaching the base.

"You sure we're in the right location?" Trix asked Howzer.

"My best scouts reported this as the bases' location, I trust them." Howzer said.

"I'll take your word on it." Trix nodded.

He looked at the other clones.

"Lock and load men." Trix said.

Everyone checked their weapons.

On Ashoka and Cobalt's gunship Ashoka readied the grenades.

"Once we go in there's no turning back, is everybody ready?" Ashoka asked.

"Yes commander." Cobalt said.

"We are ready." Cham said over the comm link.

"Ready when you are." Howzer said.

"Commence attack." Ashoka said.

The grenades dropped from the gunships blowing three craters into the ground.

Without delay everyone entered the base.

With Ashoka and Cobalt's team:

Ashoka, Cobalt and their team dropped into the base and were immediately under fire from a squadron of droids.

The Clones quickly fired back while Ashoka deflected the shots with her lightsaber.

"Come on boys." Ashoka called as they started to move forward.

"You heard her boys, move." Cobalt said ushering the others forward.

The command center:

"Sir, we have reports of clones in the base." A battle droid said looking at General Grevious who was sitting in his command chair.

"Deploy all droids, I will deal with this personally." Grevious said getting up and storming from the command center.

With Trix and Howzer's team:

Trix, Howzer and their men were proceeding along the corridor

"Quiet here." Trix said after they'd been going for a few minutes now and hadn't seen any droids.

"Cham's distraction must be working." Howzer said.

"That's good, Cmon let's move." Trix said.

With Cham:

Cham and his group of clones were fighting off a large group of droids.

"There's a lot more droids here than I was expecting." Gobi said as he destroyed another droid.

"Indeed, but we must not give up, if we do Ryloth could become victim to another occupation and I will not allow that." Cham said.

"Me either." Gobi nodded.

With Trix and Howzer:

Howzer and Trix were going down a corridor when they heard a voice.

"So you're the ones sent to take over my base, the Republic must be running out of clones." Grevious cackled.

"Grevious." Trix growled.

"Kill them." Grevious ordered his droids firing a blaster at the Clones.

With Ashoka and Cobalt's team:

"Commander Tano this is Trix." Trix said over the comm.

"I'm here Trix, what is it?" Ashoka asked.

"It's Grevious, he's attacking our group, we need backup." Trix said.

"I'll be right there." Ashoka nodded.

Suddenly Cham, Gobi and their group appeared in front of Ashoka.

"Cham, my lieutenant just commed, he and Howzer are being attacked by Grevious, they need backup." Ashoka said.

"Go, my team and I will take over the command center." Cham said.

Ashoka nodded.

"Come on boys." She said.

Ashoka Cobalt and the rest of their team ran off to reinforce Trix.

With Trix and Howzer:

The Clones had dispatched the droids and were going toe to toe with Grevious, Trix even managing to land a punch on Grevious.

Engraged Grevious threw the Clones off him like a bunch of rag dolls and activated it above Trix getting ready to finish him.

Before he could strike the clone however Ashoka's blade got in the way.

"Well well, if it isn't Dooku's head clanker." Ashoka said.

"If it isn't Skywalker's little pet." Grevious sneered.

A duel started between the two and while Ashoka was much less experienced than Grevious was she still held her ground well.

Suddenly one powerful strike hit the armour on her arm and grazed her badly.

Cobalt and the rest of his And Ashoka's team fired at Grevious but he deflected their shots killing the troopers, Cobalt was only wounded due to his sturdier katarn armour.

Grevious towered over Ashoka and raised his lightsaber about to strike when suddenly the lightsaber was force pulled from his hands.

Surprised Ashoka and Grevious looked to see who'd taken it.

It was Cobalt.

The Clone commando now wielded the lightsaber it's blue blade glowing fiercely in the hands of it's new user.

Ashoka took advantage of Grevious's surprise and jumped high in the air landing beside Cobalt and reactivating her own lightsaber.

"A force sensitive clone, a surprise to be sure, no matter even together you are no match for me." Grevious pulling out four lightsabers and activating them all at once.

"We'll take him together." Ashoka said.

The jedi padawan and force sensitive clone both fueled the droid general dodging and parrying his strikes and returning their own attacks in kind.

Evantually they had Grevious pinned.

"Surrender Grevious." Cobalt ordered.

"NEVER." Grevious roared pulling out a grenade which he threw at the ceiling which collapsed dust and debris flying everywhere.

By the time the dust cleared Grevious had fled and Ashoka and Cobalt were being assisted by Trix and Howzer.

"General Syndulla this is Commander Tano, Grevious has fled." Ashoka said.

"Indeed, but we've taken over the base, Ryloth is saved." Cham said.

"Excellent news." Ashoka smiled while Howzer, Trix and Cobalt cheered.

Later:

Ashoka, Cobalt, Trix and the remaining 501st troopers were getting ready to head back to the resolute when Cham, Gobi and Howzer appeared.

"Thank you Ashoka for what you and your men have done, all of Ryloth is grateful for your help." Cham said.

"No problem general Syndulla, just doing our jobs." Ashoka nodded.

With that Ashoka and her troops went up the ramp of the shuttle which took off and began heading to the resolute.

The entire flight back Cobalt was silent, holding the stolen lightsaber in his hand, dreading the conversation he was likely going to have with General Skywalker.

The resolute:

Torrent company was relaxing in their barracks Echo was going over the reg manual, Fives was sitting next to his twin although not listening to a word the other Arc was saying, Eagle was sitting on his bunk polishing his blaster, Hardcase and Bats were laughing at a joke Jesse had told them, Coric was refreshing the paint on his helmet, Red Alert was going over a report, Ridge was reading a novel on his datapad and Trix and Cobalt were having a muttered conversation when Anakin, Ashoka and Rex walked in followed by Kix.

The small group stopped in front of Cobalt who looked up at them.

"Ashoka tells me you acted bravely out in the field today, good work." Anakin smiled.

"Thank you general." Cobalt nodded.

"She also told me that you used the force...is that true?" Anakin asked.

Cobalt nodded again.

"Yes general." He said.

"Would you mind explaining it to me, I've never heard of a clone being force sensitive before?" Anakin asked.

The rest of torrent company were watching, their intrest peaked.

"Well, I was created amongst a group of specialised clones, we all had unique traits but I was modified to be force sensitive, I was part of Project Enigma which was a kamanoin project to create force sensitive clones, but something with the project went wrong and most of the Clones in the project died, the few of us who survived were transferred to new units and given new numbers, CC-1043 replacing my original number and Sigma squad being the unit I was transferred to, after the project though for some reason other clones who had survived the project were also killed, either by complications from the testing or due to being unable to control their abilities and being decommissioned and executed by the kamanoins for it, as far as I know I'm the only surviving clone from the project." Cobalt said.

Everyone stared at the story feeling multiple emotions at once, sadness, shock, horror amongst them.

Cobalt got up.

"Guess I'll get ready." Cobalt said.

"For what Cobalt?" Rex asked.

"My decommissioning, you'll not want a defective clone here." Cobalt said.

"Not a chance." Rex said putting a hand firmly on his shoulder and stopping him from moving.

"Rex is right Cobalt, you're a part of the 501st now and we look after each other, gifted or not." Anakin said putting particular emphasis on the word gifted.

"We'll have to tell Obi-Wan and probably the council though, we can't hide this." Ashoka said.

"We'll tell them when we give him the report for the mission." Anakin said.

A trooper walked into the barracks.

"Sir General Kenobi is requesting your report for the mission to Ryloth." The trooper said.

"Right, come on Cobalt, we'd better get this over with." Anakin said.

"With here for you brother, don't worry about a thing." Trix said the rest of torrent company nodding in agreement.

Cobalt just nodded and walked out the room with Anakin, Ashoka and Rex.

Star Wars the clone wars darkness rising: season 1

Episode 2: Cargo

With the clone wars sweeping across the galaxy and the seperatists attacking on the ground with powerful attacks, and with deadly air raids at night the Republic had to build powerful weapons to counterattack.

One of these was a powerful new torpedo nicknamed the blazer because it was so powerful if it was used wrongly it could engulf entire cities in flames.

Lieutenant Trix and his squad was instructed with delivering this torpedo from the factory to the resolute but as they travelled along their regular route they were shot down.

Now Trix and his men most hold out and make sure the torpedo doesn't fall into enemy hands.

Trix looked at his men.

"Alright men, whatever you you do don't let the droids get their hands on the torpedo, take up defensive positions." Trix ordered.

"Do you think we'll be able to hold out?" Riot.

"Let's hope so Riot." Trix said.

One clone looked at a pilot in a walker.

"Okay get ready." He said.

The pilot nodded and got the walker into position.

Nearby the droids were watching them.

"Commence the attack." The commander ordered.

Soon they heard the clanking of the droid's metal feet.

"They've tracked the beacon." One trooper said.

They saw the shape of several battle droids as well as an AAT approaching.

"HERE THEY COME." Trix yelled.

The tank fired and the battle begun.

The clones and droids fought fiercely against each other.

Several clones were gunned down and killed.

One trooper was thrown to the floor and slightly stunned but he was still able to fight.

"Hostiles have broken our lines." He said.

The droid commander watched all this before looking over at the pilot of the AAT.

"Move in the tank." It ordered.

The pilot moved the tank Into the battle and took out the clone walker and a couple of other clones.

"Incoming fire." One clone called before being taken out by one of the tank's side cannons.

The tank then fired another shot from it's main cannon and the remaining few clones were sent flying over the battlefield.

Riot landed on one of the gunships wings and Trix landed in a patch of tall grass behind the tank.

One of the droids went over to the commander.

"Sir the area has been secured." He said.

The tank pilot then spoke.

"Sir I am receiving a communication from base 663, they are under attack by native forces and need reinforcements." The droid said.

"Go and help them out." The commander ordered and the tank left.

"Get the torpedo ready for transport." The commander said turning to the other droids.

From the bushes Trix watched and grabbed a fallen rifle.

He then let off a shot hitting one of the droids.

He then ran into the field firing off more shots as he went.

One shot hit a super battle droid but did nothing, said droid then punched Trix hard knocking the rifle from his hands and sending him into the wreckage of the crashed gunship.

The droid commander stood over Trix.

"Before you die, I want you to know that you just gave us the power to destroy Courscant in one stroke." The commander said.

Just then a shot flew through the air, hitting the super battle droid and destroying it.

"Riot!" Trix exclaimed surprised.

Riot emerged from the bushes and shot at the droids killing the commander and the last few droids that had remained.

Riot then helped Trix to his feet and both clones looked at the carnage in front of him.

"They're all dead." Riot said grimly looking at the dead clones.

"They did what they had to do to ensure victory." Trix said though he spoke the words with a slight bitterness in his voice.

"So many lives being taken, so just so we can take more lives." Riot said sadly.

"No one fully understands Riot, but we do know we're doing the right thing, come on, let's get to leaving here." Trix said.

Just then they heard a couple of groans.

"Troopers." Trix called curiously as he went over.

They saw a pair of clones getting to their feet, a bit shaken but unharmed.

"Are you two alright?" Trix asked concerned.

"We're fine sir, we thought we were done for when the tank fired." One trooper said.

"But we're alive, and the droids are defeated." The other said.

"But we aren't out if this yet, the droids said something about an outpost nearby, they may have a shuttle or speeder we can use to get this torpedo to our base." Trix said.

"What are our orders sir?" Riot asked.

"Find whatever weapons you can as well as a way to transport that torpedo safely." Trix said.

"With all due respect sir shouldn't we wait for a pickup here?" One of the two troopers asked.

"No, the seppies know we're here, I've been in a lot of battles like this and I know it's best we move away from this location, because soon enough the clankers are going to check what happened when one of their patrols fails to report in." Trix said.

"Sir yes sir." The other clones responsed.

Riot and the two troopers came back with a handful of blasters.

Trix took the two DC-15Ss from Riot putting them on his belt while the others had DC-15As.

"Let's go men." Trix said picking up the torpedo and walking off ahead.

They soon reached a cliff.

Trix took a pair of binoculars from his belt and looked through them.

"There's an elevator we can use to get to the top of the cliff, but the droids will fire upon us the second they see us, and if they hit the torpedo, we can say goodbye to life forever." Trix said.

"There are some crates near the guards sir, if we put the torpedo inside it would be better protected." Riot said.

"Good Idea, I'll take out the guards, wait here." Trix said.

He then calmly calmly waled over to the droids hands behind his back.

"Clone, surrender." One said.

"Put your hands out in front of you." The other said.

"Well if you insist." Trix said grinning.

He threw his hands forward, quickly drew his blasters and blew the droid's heads off.

"All clear." Trix called to the others.

Riot at the other two troopers ran out with the torpedo which they promptly out in the crate.

They then got in themselves and Trix pressed the button that sent the elevator upwards.

After a few minutes they arrived at the top and quickly destroyed the droids there before they could sound the alarm.

"Come on let's move." Trix ordered picking up the crate.

The clones quickly ran.

Only a few minutes after they'd left a pair of security droids found the droids that had been shot by the clones.

"We must have intruders, sound the alarm immediately." One ordered.

"Roger Roger." The other replied.

With the clones:

Trix, Riot and the others ran down the corridor with the torpedo.

"Look there's a platform outside." Trix said.

"And with a speeder on it." Trix said.

They got outside and stood by the speeder but it only had 2 seats.

"Alright sir listen to me, you'll have to take speeder to the travel port, where you can arrange for a ship to take you back to base." Riot said.

"But what about you Riot?" Trix asked.

"That's not important sir, what matters is that we get you out of here safely." Riot replied.

"There they are, stop them." A droid's voice called.

"Oh no they found us, quick get in sir, open fire." Riot ordered as he and one of the clones started firing while Trix and the other clone got into the speeder with the torpedo.

"Riot, wait a minute." Trix said.

"Get out of here sir." Riot ordered.

Suddenly there was a small explosion where the trooper and Riot were standing.

Then the most tragic thing happened.

Riot flew over the side of the cliff and started falling to the bottom.

"RIOT." Trix yelled.

Riot's body vanished out of sight.

"NOOO." Trix yelled as the other clone started the speeder and they flew away from the base.

Suddenly the speeder started beeping and emitting sparks.

"Oh no, sir I think this speeder is malfunctioning." The trooper said.

"Well then, what are we gonna do?" Trix asked.

"I have an Idea, do you see a jetpack in the back." The trooper asked.

"Trix looked and saw one."

"Yeah, there's a jetpack back there." Trix said.

"Alright listen, you're gonna have to put the jetpack on, and as soon as I get near that cliff you're gonna have to jet your way to safety." The trooper said.

With the droids:

One droid had a rocket launcher aimed at the speeder.

"I have a clear shot sir." The droid said.

"Take e'm out." The commander ordered.

With the clones:

"We're getting pretty close, sir do you have the jetpack on?" The trooper asked.

"Yes, the jetpack is on." Trix replied holding the crate in his hands.

"Alright, as soon as I give the signal, fly as far away from here as you can." The trooper ordered.

The droid fired his rocket launcher.

"GO NOW." The clone yelled.

Trix activated the jetpack and flew away.

"Goodbye sir." The clone said just the rocket hit the speeder, destroying it and killing him.

With the droids:

"We got them ." One droid said.

"So, what do we do now." The second droid asked.

"Tell general Grievous, that the torpedo has been destroyed." The third said.

"Roger Roger." The second said.

By the end of the day Trix was completely alone, no friends, no brothers, no one.

But he'd have to grieve later, there was still a job to do.

Trix got on the comm and called Rex.

"Trix, is that you." Rex called from his end.

"Yes sir, I'm here sir." Trix said.

"Oh thank goodness, I heard your squad was ambushed." Rex said.

"It was sir, I'm all that's left." Trix said.

"Is the torpedo safe?" Rex asked.

"Yeah, I've got it with me. Trix replied.

"Where are you?" Rex asked.

"Near a ship port, I've got a jetpack but I doubt it'll last all the way to base." Trix said.

"I'll call the port and arrange something, stand by." Rex said.

Trix nodded.

After a few minutes Rex got back on the comm.

"One of the men will give you a ride to the base, but he has to make a stop to the captital first, it's his last stop on his route though." Rex said.

"Thanks Rex." Trix said.

"Anytime brother, get home safe." Rex said before hanging up.

Trix arrived at the port and got onto the ship, carrying the crate and removing his helmet as he went.

Several citizens on the ship stared at the tired and battered clone with concern as he put the crate carrying the torpedo and supporting his helmet on the floor in front a row of three seats.

Trix let out a couple of groans of pain as he sat on the end of the row and one concerned man walked over to him.

"No no, I'm fine. Fine." Trix said politely waving the man away.

"It's been a long day." He said tiredly before lying across the seats.

Within only a minute he was out cold.

Hours later he felt himself being shaken awake and he groggily opened his eyes and saw Rex standing above him.

"Have a nice nap Trix." Rex teased grinning.

"Hilarious." Trix muttered before getting to his feet and picking up the crate.

"Here's the crate Rex, we'd better get this inside." Rex said taking the crate from Trix.

The two clones then left the ship, Trix nodded politely to the pilot as he walked past him.

After the torpedo was loaded onto a cargo ship and sent off Anakin and Rex spoke to Trix.

"You did good out there Trix." Anakin said.

"Thank you general, just doing my job." Trix said nodding.

"And I'm sorry for the loss of your men." Anakin said sadly.

"It's alright sir, if their deaths mean we can one day win this war, then they won't have been in vain." Trix said

Star Wars the clone wars:, darkness rising season 1

Episode 1: Seige of Adora

War rages on, with the seperatist army attacking planets all over the galaxy the Republic and their powerful Clone army alongside the Jedi order must stop them.

On the planet of Ardoa, the 501st and 212th as well as Jedi generals Obi wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker as well as padawan Ahsoka Tano must Repell them.

In the Republic base Obi wan, Anakin, Ashoka, as well as captian Rex and commander Cody were in the briefing room discussing their next move.

"The capital city is the final part of our objective, we take that and we've freed the city." Cody said.

"However the large amount of droids, plus the sheer size of the city is going to make that a harder task, as such we shall split into groups." Obi wan.

He then looked at the group.

"Anakin and a squad of men will focus on this area, Ahsoka and Rex Will converge here and me and Cody will take the middle, if all goes well we should all meet together at the end and finish off any remaining droids that are still around." Obi wan said.

"You should also know that Dooku is here as well, so you should take great care when facing him, and call either me, general Kenobi or commander Tano for assistance, understood." Anakin said.

"Yes sir." All the clones chorused at once.

"Alright then, everyone prepare for battle, we move it in one hour." Rex said.

All the other clones filed out and Anakin, Obi wan, Cody, Rex and Ashoka followed a moment later.

With obi wan:

The 212th were fighting a number of droids in the Street.

Blaster shots went everywhere and there were several small explosions as grenades and rockets from both sides were fired.

"General, on your left." Cody called.

Obi wan jumped out of the way just as shot from an AAT exploded right where Obi wan was standing.

"Thank you Cody." Obi wan said to Cody who nodded.

Obi wan looked at the tank.

"That tank is certainly putting a damper on my day." Obi wan said.

"It's no good sir, our troops can't get a good shot at it from here." Cody said.

Obi wan hummed and quickly thought up a plan.

"Waxer, Boil come with me". Obi wan said.

"We're with you sir." Waxer said as he and Boil followed Obi wan.

The three Went onto a large roof directly above the AAT.

"Waxer, prepare to jump." Obi wan said.

"Sir?" Waxer asked nervously.

"Don't worry I have a plan." Obi wan reassured him.

Waxer nodded.

"I'm ready sir." He said.

"Now." Obi wan called.

Waxer jumped and Obi wan used the force to lower him onto the hatch of the tank.

Waxer gave Obi wan a thumbs up before opening the hatch.

"Hey, what are you doing, this is my tank." The droid pilot protested before Waxer shot him and threw him out the tank.

Waxer quickly got to the gun controls.

"Your turn Boil." Obi wan said.

"Yes sir." Boil said.

He jumped and Obi wan used the force to lower him behind the tank.

Obi wan then jumped down himself.

Obi wan cut open the door to the tank to find three droids there.

"You said we'd be safe in here." One said.

"Come on, there's three of us and only two of them." The second droid said defensively.

"It won't matter." The third replied gloomily.

Obi wan cut two of the droids down with his lightsaber and boil shot the third.

Boil then took the controls of the tank.

Boil piloted the tank so it was directly behind the droids.

"Alright Waxer, let e'm have it." Boil said.

"FIRE IN THE HOLE." Waxer yelled.

Waxer fired the main turret a few times and the droids were practically decimated.

Obi wan, Waxer and Boil got out the tank and Cody came over.

"Nice work general." Cody said.

"Thank you Cody, now let's get moving, we've got a battle to win here." Obi wan said.

"Yes sir, you heard him men, let's go." Cody ordered.

The 212th started moving again.

Meanwhile:

A group of commando droids were fighting against a team of 501st troopers but were starting to be overwhelmed.

The captian got on his commlink and a hologram of Dooku appeared.

"Count Dooku, we're recieving a high amount of resistance, we're being overwhelmed." The droid said.

"Then retreat, and lure the clones into the trap I have set." Dooku ordered.

"Roger Roger." The captian said before cutting off the hollogram.

The clone lieutenant leading the clones fired more shots at the droids hitting one.

The droids started retreating and the clones followed still firing at them.

With Rex and Ahsoka:

Rex and Ashoka were fighting off the last few droids at their position.

"This looks like the last of the driods here." Ahsoka said.

"Yeah, hopefully general Skywalker and general Kenobi show up soon." Rex said blasting another droid.

Rex's comm went off.

"Captian Rex, this is CT-0212, we think we have something." A clones voice said over the comm.

"I'll be right there lieutenant." Ahsoka said.

She looked at Rex.

"You think you can handle the rest of these driods?" Ahsoka asked.

"Yeah, you go ahead commander." Rex said.

Ahsoka nodded and left with a few troops.

Not long later Ahsoka arrived where the lieutenant and his troops were waiting.

"Lieutenant Trix, what have you got?" Ahsoka asked.

"We were following a group of commando droids when they went down this alleyway, we heard it may be rigged with a boobytrap so we decided to call for help." Trix informed her.

"What do you reckon the trap is?" Ahsoka asked.

"Mines, tanks, bombs, knowing the seppies it could be anything." Trix said.

"Okay then, we'll proceed forward, but be cautious." Ahsoka said.

"Yes commander, let's move men." Trix said signalling to the troops behind him.

They hadn't been walking long when suddenly a number of blaster turrets opened up and started firing at them.

At the same time the squad of commando droids returned and added their blasterfire to the barrage.

"Ambush!" Trix exclaimed firing his own blaster back at the droids.

"Get to cover." Ahsoka ordered deflecting shots with her lightsabers.

The clones and Ahsoka spread out and found cover.

One commando droid lunged at Trix brandishing a vibroblade but the lieutenant fought against the droid and in the end stabbed it through the chest with it's own weapon.

A flurry of sparks flew from the droid as it's body crumpled to the ground like a rock.

The fierce battle kept on for several minutes but soon the droids were pushing forward.

"I don't think we can hold this position any longer sir." Trix said.

"Alright Trix, tell the men to fall back." Ahsoka said.

"That won't be necessary snips." A voice said over the comm.

Just then Anakin, Fives, and Echo appeared.

The droids instantly started firing upon their new foes and Anakin jumped over to Ahsoka.

"Thanks for the assist master, but what are you doing here?" Ahsoka asked.

"Well we already finished our battle so I thought we'd just pop over here and help you with yours." Anakin said.

With the help of their reinforcements the group finished up the last of the droids.

"That'll teach those clankers to never mess with the 501st." Fives said.

"You got that right Fives." Echo agreed.

"We'd better meet up with Obi wan, or he'll think we're dead or something." Anakin joked.

They got to the staging area where Obi wan, Cody, Rex and the others were all waiting.

"Well it's nice to see you finally made it Anakin, good to see you again Ahsoka." Obi wan said.

"General, all platoons have reported in." Cody said.

"Thank you Cody, order all the men to block all the exits in and out of the base, we don't want anyone escaping." Obi wan said.

"Yes sir." Cody said walking over to the troops.

"So what now?" Anakin asked.

"We will all rest for a while and attend to our Wounded, then we shall plan a strategy for attacking the base, and possibly capturing Dooku." Obi wan said.

"If we capture him he could prove essential to ending the war." Ahsoka said.

"Precisely why we must plan accordingly, for now you are both dismissed." Obi wan said smiling at both Anakin and Ahdoka.

"Yes master." Anakin said before walking over to Rex with Ahsoka in tour.

Obi wan then went over to Cody and the 212th.

Two weeks before the battle:

In a workshop a Seperatist engineer was working on repairing a droid lying on the table in front of him.

Dooku watched with interest as the engineer worked.

After a few minutes the engineer put away his tools and turned to Dooku.

"He is ready my lord." The engineer said.

"Switch him on." Dooku ordered.

"Yes sir." The engineer said before pressing the droids on switch.

There was a whir of mechanics following by the slight creaking of metal bolts and armour as the droid activated and stood on it's feet.

"Commander OOM-9 reporting for duty, my lord." The droid said standing at attention.

"Welcome to the seperatist army OOM-9, I am sure you shall do your purpose proudly." Dooku said.

"Roger Roger." OOM-9 said nodding.

The present day:

The 501st were walking down a corridor when several bronze and black battle droids attacked.

"Blast em' boys." Anakin said force pulling a blaster into his hands and opening fire.

Trix fired a few shots at a droid and it went down but then it simply got up again and continued firing.

"Damm, these clankers have tough armour." Trix said firing at the droid again.

This time the droid went down and stayed down.

Several droids started firing from behind.

"We're cut off." Echo said.

The clones got behind cover as they continued firing at the droids.

The command center:

OOM-9 watched this from one of the security cameras before turning his attention to the 212th who were marching down another corridor.

"We have them now, send in the super commandoes." OOM-9 said.

"Roger Roger." A battle droid said pressing a button.

With the 212th:

The 212th were going down another corridor when several commando droids with blue and gold markings appeared, they were followed by a commando with silver markings who was obviously their commander.

"Commando droids." Cody growled aiming his blaster.

"Show no mercy." The commander ordered.

The droids opened fire at the the clones who promptly fired back.

One commando droid had its blaster shot from it's hand but it simply activated a laser sword on it's arm and lunged at Obi wan, attacking with a flurry of fury and precision that actually had Obi wan surprised.

"Wow, they've really stepped up their engineering haven't they." A young shiny commented.

"You can say that again kid." Cody said nodding in agreement.

After several minutes of fighting the commandoes were destroyed.

Obi wan looked and saw a men men dead and serval wounded, he looked to his chief medical officer Mercury.

"Merc, you and some men take the injured back outside, the rest off of us will press on." Cody said.

"Yes sir." Merc said nodding before moving over to the injured troopers.

"What now general?" Cody asked.

"We're going to head to the command center and disable the commander there, I'll send Anakin after Dooku." Obi wan said.

Obi wan activated his commlink.

"Anakin, Anakin come in." Obi wan said.

With the 501st:

Anakin and the 501st were still fighting off the advanced OOM droids when Anakin's comm beeped.

"Anakin, Anakin come in." Obi wan's voice said.

"Master I'm kinda in the middle of something here." Anakin said.

"I'm heading to the command center, I want you to go to the command center and hold your position there, do not let anyone escape, and take extreme care, Dooku may be on his way there." Obi wan said.

"All over it master." Anakin said.

With that Anakin cut down the last droid.

"Everyone, too the hangar." Anakin said.

The clones and Ahsoka nodded and ran to the hangar.

With the 212th:

Obi wan and his clones arrived outside the command center.

"This is it general." Cody said.

"Right, is everybody ready?" Obi wan asked.

The clones nodded.

"NOW!" Obi wan exclaimed opening the door.

The clones burst into the command center blasters blazing.

OOM-9 and the droids inside fired back with their own blasters.

Obi wan force pushed a droid at OOM-9 who simply caught it and threw it aside.

"Hello there." Obi wan said.

"General Kenobi, you certainly are brave." OOM-9 said.

"Your move." Obi wan said.

OOM-9 threw aside his blaster and withdrawing a vibroblade.

Obi wan drew his drew his lightsaber and he and the droid began to Duel.

With the 501st:

The 501st had just finished securing the hangar when Anakin looked apprehensive.

"It's Dooku, he's on his way."

"We'll take him together." Ahsoka said.

"No, I have a plan, but I need you to follow it to the letter." Anakin said his face serious.

Ahsoka nodded.

Not long later they were set.

Dooku walked in and didn't look surprised at the sight of Anakin.

"Skywalker, I should have expected you'd be here." Dooku said calmly.

"You've one chance to stand down now Dooku, or I'll bring you to justice myself." Anakin said.

"You should know I'll never surrender to the likes of you jedi." Dooku said pulling his lightsaber from his belt and igniting it.

"So be it." Anakin said withdrawing his own lightsaber and charging at Dooku.

Jedi Knight and sith lord fought, red blade meeting blue and several times it seemed one would end the other but nothing happened.

Ahsoka, Rex, Echo, Fives and Trix watched this from the corners.

"Wait for his mark, the moment he gives the word, we attack." Ahsoka said.

With Obi wan:

Obi wan and OOM-9 were still fighting.

"You know this war isn't necessary, all it has brought it the deaths of so many people, you will gain nothing by continuing it." Obi wan said as he dodged a strike from the droid's vibroblade.

"I'm not in this war to take over the galaxy jedi, I'm in it for the glory of my droid brethren, we will bring an age of peace and security to the galaxy." OOM-9 said.

Obi wan disarmed the droid and a couple of clones grabbed him.

"Not like this you won't, all your brothers are doing is bringing suffering and pain to the galaxy." Obi wan said.

"Jedi, elitist scum." OOM-9 growled breaking free of the clones. "Do you have any idea just how many beings suffered because of your Republic."

Obi wan was silent at the droid's words.

"Of course you don't, you were just sitting there in your precious temple running after your precious senate, just like puppets in a play." OOM-9 said.

Before anyone could stop him OOM-9 threw a flash grenade into the air and ran from the room grabbing his vibroblade and punching aside a couple of clones as he went.

"All droids retreat to the hangar, Adora is lost, we most retreat while we are still standing." OOM-9 ordered.

Obi wan rubbed his eyes and once he could see somewhat clearly and the ringing in his ears stopped he got on the commlink.

"Anakin, the droid commander is headed your way, his name is OOM-9, try and stop him." Obi wan said.

In the hangar:

Anakin and Dooku we're still dueling when Dooku threw Anakin to the ground.

"A bold but foolish fight my boy, but you have lost, give qui Gon my regards." Dooku said raising his lightsaber.

"NOW." Anakin yelled.

The clones all emerged firing stun blasts and Dooku after taking several shots was brought to his knees.

Anakin grabbed Dooku and jumped into the air before force slamming him hard into the floor.

The clones and Ahsoka surrounded Dooku weapons raised, Anakin stood in front of him.

"You're beaten Dooku." Anakin growled pointing his lightsaber at Dooku.

Just then OOM-9 fired his blaster knocking Anakin's lightsaber from his hands.

Dooku smirked.

"I'm afraid not." Dooku said shooting force lightning at Anakin.

He threw Anakin into Ashoka knocking them both away, he then forced pulled his lightsaber to him and got up.

Dooku and OOM-9 as well as the rest of the droids ran into the shuttle which quickly took off.

The last of the droids had been destroyed and Obi wan and the others had got there just in time to clear up.

"I'm afraid Dooku and OOM-9 escaped master." Anakin said.

"Yes I'm afraid they have, but we have freed the planet." Obi wan said.

"Now the seperatists have a new general, what do you think they'll do with him?" Ashoka asked.

"Use him, no doubts about it, Dooku would be a fool if he didn't, and Dooku is many things, a fool is not one of them." Obi wan said.

Echo and Remora:

Echo was being led to the Brentford stables by a very eager Fives, his twin practically dragging him along.

"Fives will you calm down, if you keep yanking my arm like that I'm gonna need it amputated." Echo grumbled.

"Calm down will ya', I'm just happy you're finally on your feet." Fives said.

"I'm glad too, but why are you in such a hurry for God's sake." Echo said.

"I got something to show you." Fives said as they arrived outside the stable.

The two walked in and Fives led him over to a chestnut brown Kentucky saddler.

She had white markings on her primarily chestnut mane and she stared at Echo in curiosity.

"Who's this, never seen you before girl." Echo said approaching the horse and patting her gently, the horse leaning into his touch.

"Echo meet Remora, your new horse." Fives said.

Echo looked at Fives in shock.

"We heard about what happened to Lady at Anaxes so we all pitched in to buy Remora here, so you like her?" Fives asked.

"She's a fine horse, young but with some love and care she could definitely become something great." Echo said fondly.

Fives chuckled.

"Well I'll leave you two to it, see you around Echo." Fives said before walking to the stable door and walking out.

Echo waved goodbye before he resumed patting Remora.

"Yeah, I think we're gonna get along just fine." Echo said smiling.

Ngl I feel Anakin missed his calling as a proper soldier

When you think about it Anakin was everything an effective commander strives to be, he was powerful, had great war crimes strategies, he cared for his men and respected them as equals and said respect was felt among his men

If Anakin left the jedi along with Ashoka and became a regular soldier I honestly feel he could have been saved from turning to the dark side
