If we're talking about perfect Jedi, I have to mention Master Fay! I mean, Obi Wan implies so himself-

He also says she was a Jedi nomad, rarely coming to Coruscant, instead "fighting for peace and freedom across the stars"

And she never needed to use a lightsaber!

She’s said to be very powerful in the Force, but gives up her life to help Obi Wan escape with a vital antidote

All this, an she only appears in a single issue of Star Wars Republic T-T

List of Jedi that are Perfect

So listen, I know Obi-Wan has a lot of fans who will endlessly talk about how perfect he is and that he invented perfection. However, I would like to put forward that the Jedi in general some other Jedi also are perfect and invented perfection. Here is a very small number of them.

Luminara Unduli

She makes sure she’s prepared, loves her padawan, and is very good at staying focused. She also is good at accepting reality and growing as a person. Have I mentioned that she’s also just really nice? Plus, she pulls off black better than any Sith.

Kit Fisto

He’s cheerful, loves his former Padawan, and is very good at puzzles. He is also good at accepting reality. Did I mention that he’s also very kind? Plus, you can’t deny he has a good smile.

Mace Windu

He is dutiful, focused, and patient. He is also cool and composed. Did I mention that he’s also super nice and kind as well? And you can’t deny the coolness that is purple lightsaber.

Yoda

Possibly the most perfect of all. He is wise, humorous, and kind. He also loves teaching, his grandpadawans, and teaching his grandpadawans. Did I mention that he loves all the Jedi and loves teaching them? And there is no denying he is a great frog grandpa.

(If anyone else wants to add on to this with a Jedi you think is perfect, or talk more about the ones I already listed, feel free. The only rule I’m laying down is no Obi-Wan, because there is more then enough on the internet about how Obi-Wan is perfect.)

The ONLY TIME I could genuinely see Anakin becoming a Crechemaster by choice and actually enjoying it is in an AU where he's found by the Jedi as a baby and raised among them from the beginning and then remains a Jedi and it's a happy fix-it AU somehow and Palpatine dies and either there's no war or the Republic wins the war and Anakin's had like 2-3 Padawans or something already, he's been on the Council for like ten years, he's a little older now, like 50 or 60 years old perhaps, he's ready to move away from responsibilities like the Council or taking on an apprentice of his own, so he decides to settle down into being a Crechemaster, teaching up the newer generation of Jedi, occasionally wandering off on shorter missions if he feels like it or traveling places when he gets the urge since he knows there's plenty of other Crechemasters who are looking after the kids as part of the Jedi's communal system and his absence won't mean a bunch of younglings are suddenly left without supervision or caretaking. It's a nice retirement after several decades as a Knight where he was constantly away from the Temple doing other work or focusing a lot on raising one apprentice or being a part of the Council.

the jedi were allowed to - nay, encouraged to love.

a jedi's purpose was to keep the galaxy in balance. this purpose was at times focused a bit too much at merely killing the sith and acting as the Republic's attack dogs. despite this, they still made attempts to aid the others living in the galaxy with them.

how could a jedi wish to protect the galaxy if they cannot feel love for it?

some point to Yoda's 'hate leads to the Dark Side' speech as evidence that jedi shouldn't feel. such statements are disingenuous.

a jedi should not lash out in anger, but use their blade and abilities with an unbiased mind.

Anakin cared very deeply about those close to him. it could even be argued that he cared too much. he wanted to be god, prevent people from dying. in doing so, he destroyed everything he'd ever known; the Icarus of a galaxy far far away.

Attachment isn’t love. Why do people need to be reminded of it. It’s just utterly infuriating when that appears in fanfiction. The Jedi weren’t cold, evil people, who didn’t have feelings. That’s Anakin. Maybe we shouldn’t take what Darth Vader said as fact?

My sixth, and most likely final, redesign of Ahsoka Tano

Here is her Rebels finale design and her series.

This one just might be my favorite design I’ve made for her!

Now once again, this falls into AU territory.

In my version of Vader vs Ahsoka, there is no “World Between Worlds”. She dies, but is brought back by the daughter because she still has one last mission before she can become one with the Force; and that is to find Ezra.

So she becomes a sort of avatar for the Daughter.

She completely relies on the Force. The closest thing she has to a weapon would be her staff, but that’s more of a walking stick.

The lightsabers she found, she buries out of respect.

I, of course like all versions before, kept her Togruta cultural items. Like her Akul teeth, which hang loosely from the top of head instead wrapping around.

Her jewelry hanging from the top of her head-tails was inspired by concept art of Padme from episode 2.

The rest of the outfit all together was heavily inspired by the Daughter’s outfit.

I gave her shoulder pads with a bit of an armored look.

Her top that covers her dress resembles the Daughter’s cape that hangs from her sleeves, only I made Ahsoka’s very wide and open; and added a large open collar that reaches her cheeks.

She has a yellow sash that hangs in front of her dress, which I gave a custom pattern too so that it wouldn’t look so plain.

Her dress I gave softer, cream color. Which also has the same custom pattern.

And a long, brown skirt that sits on top of her dress, which opens in the front.

She has a silver belt that holds her Anooba teeth, and her Togrutan sash (which I made longer).

I did keep her staff that she has at the end of Rebels like I mentioned before.

Now I’m sure you’ve noticed that Ahsoka is missing an entire Lekku.

Well with the changes I made with her ending in Rebels, I felt like I shouldn’t let her go completely unscathed. A physical scar Darth Vader left on Ahsoka.

Kinda bittersweet that this is the end, but I had a lot of fun redesigning Ahsoka Tano.

"Lol it "worked" like our own political systems "work". There are periods of lesser chaos but still great inequality & periods of more serious instability & greater violence. Saying the system "worked" for 25000yrs is missing the point. SW institutions are meant to mirror our own flawed governments so no, they don't "work" even when there isn't a major galactic war going on."

the Republic stood with the Jedi defending it, the Jedi having the Republic's support allowed them to be effective as peacekeepers

Sounds like it worked to me, and the argument of there still being periods of chaos and violence or just problems is a weak one, that's not an argument, that's just pointing out things that exist, and it is by working together that the Jedi and Republic were able to keep these problems from boiling over into much greater widespread issues, again this is the system working, wars were prevented, peace was upheld, things were better

And no, SW institutions are not inherently meant to mirror our own governments

(Plus there's something also to be said about how our government just like the one in SW does actually work when you don't have a bunch of fascists trying to sabotage it)

SW is first and foremost a fairy tale/fantasy story, it draws comparison and analogies to real life but it is not meant to mirror it (there is a difference between those things), the Republic and Jedi are paragons, ideals to ascribe to, democracy and selflessness, George Lucas made comparison between the late Republic (which again, its state was a deliberate engineered one by the sith) and contemporary US because he was making a point, a warning (one we clearly did not heed) about how democracies are turned into dictatorships, that fascists will use (self engineered) corruption, greed, and crises to stop the system from working and seize power

I just cannot understand why people think the Jedi being a part of the Republic and answering to the senate is so bad

"OH no! The space wizards are held accountable by a democratically elected legal authority! How terrible!"

And more importantly, it worked, for 25,000 years it worked

Why does a few decades at the very end mean the whole several thousand year system needs to be written off?

"But the senate was corrupt!"

But the Jedi weren't, they continued to do their job, it's not on them if the senate stopped pulling its weight, not to mention there were still senators who were trying to do their jobs till the very end

Not to mention how the sorry state of the Republic near its end was a product of the sith's efforts to destroy it

I've made another bookmark - ♡Ahsoka Tano♡!

Ahsoka had always been one of my favorite characters in Star Wars and fiction as a whole. I had loved her since the beginning of clone wars, and yes, even in the earlier seasons.

I practically grew up with Ahsoka and could finally resonate with a character.

Her character developement was honestly one of the best I've seen. From an inexperienced Padawan to something the Jedi order had always dreamed to be.

I can't wait to see more of her. Whether it's animated, in live action or in books and comics.

I love the way the Jedi approach relationships! For the Jedi, ALL relationships are equally meaningful and important, there isn't one that's considered more important or meaningful than the others, there isn't one specific kind of relationship that is considered the end all and be all of someone's life, your entire life doesn't have to be a failure if you don't accomplish one specific kind of relationship.

I love that, for the Jedi, all relationships are fine. Have sex, don't have sex, have one partner, have many partners, be in love with your partner, don't be in love with your partner, everything goes! All relationships are worthwhile and beautiful as long as they're respectful and making the people involved happy.
