-A large pointy rock is a Jedi Temple and also a time-travel portal

-There are weird dimension-hopping wolves that eat stormtroopers

-The Clone War was inexplicably resolved 17 years after it ended

-A Mandalorian princess designs for the Empire a weapon which disintegrates Mandalorian armour, is promptly disowned, and eventually destroys the weapon with a thousand-year-old sword

-Said Mandalorian princess is a renowned graffiti artist, and blows up buildings and ships with said graffiti

-A silly fish dude builds spaceships on the -do not build or fly ships here- planet, and they are the best spaceships anyone has ever seen

-Jabba the Hutt is locked in an Imperial Prison and escapes by pretending to be Palpatine's nephew

-Two bunk bros go shopping, get arrested, commandeer a shuttle, blow up a city block, fly the shuttle with their feet, go on an epic chase, free some prisoners, kill a guy with a melon, lie to their parents, and learn about friendship, all with the power of fruit. (this was one episode)

-An autistic dude performs a factory inspection by killing one of the workers

-Two guys have to obtain god-level knowledge to find Tatooine, then later they have to fuse their souls to do it again. They have wet dreams about each other during and after they do this. Then they both utterly fail to achieve their goals.

-Leia enlists foreign rebels to steal her own ships from the Empire, then steals the Empire's ships just cos

-Tarkin stops a rebel transmission by nuking the transmission tower

-Gay enemies to bros in a cave with a meteorite and a dinosaur

-Two noob Jedi try to kill Darth Vader by throwing some walkers on him, he lives, then they just peace out

-Obi-Wan finds Luke's spiritual brother passed out in the middle of the desert and makes him a kebab

-Palpatine holds Ezra's dead parents hostage and Ezra kills them (in that order)

-Chopper kills hundreds of people while cackling

-Everyone keeps saying how smelly Zeb is, and it's all laughs until there's this one assassin dude who can track him from miles away

-Pigs that blow up like a balloon and are bought by Lando to work in the mines

Yoda made contact with Qui-Gon Jinn’s ghost but the other Jedi just thought he had dementia

0.07 seconds after leaving the Jedi Order, Ahsoka crashed her motorcycle, got a girlfriend, and ended up smuggling drugs for the mob

Anakin and Obi-Wan met the physical incarnations of the Dark and Light Sides of the Force and they looked like a goth drama queen and his cottagecore sister and both of them were furries

Ahsoka got bit by an evil rat which made her evil for awhile

feel a little insane when i think about hera falling in love with kanan.

like. kanan is intrigued by her and attracted to her from the beginning. i mean he's into her from the second he hears her voice. and he's known her a few days max, and he's already thinking to himself, "looking at her in the pilot's chair now, he determined he'd follow her anywhere." like okay lover boy!!!!!

but hera is on a mission when she meets him. and at first, she didn't even intend to recruit him, much less to get to know him, even as a friend: "people with the will to stand up to the empire were worth knowing. but then she remembered that this wasn't a recruiting trip. she needed to keep after her objective. maybe in the next lifetime, pal."

but when things shift and she sees a different side to kanan that has her reconsidering bringing him on board, she knows that he's into her. she knows that he's flirting, and she lets it slide, because she thinks he'll get over it: "he was smitten with her, she could tell - and she was all right with that too. she didn't want to tell him that her war had already begun, and that in war, there was no time for anything else. he would probably understand that eventually."

she makes it very clear that she isn't looking for intimate companionship, that he's being brought on as crew, and nothing more. for her the mission comes first. which also makes it very clear that she never meant to fall for him. but she did!!!

the mission, the fight, the rebellion is still first for her, of course. and from conversations they have in rebels, it seems like hera never let herself think very much about a definitive future for them (because how can they plan for a safe and happy and secure future when the empire is still in power?).

but she opened up to him, opened her heart to him, even after all the personal heartbreak she's already been through. even just becoming friends with him, when he was just supposed to be a helping hand. i doubt it took much for kanan to move from physical attraction to real true feelings for her. but for hera that must have been so much harder to let herself fall. especially when she never meant to fall for him in the first place. and thinking about how hard she must have fallen for him, to get to the point where she would enter a relationship with him in the midst of wartime.

and for them to have built such a strong friendship, in order to then enter such a profound, trusting, intimate, loving partnership. from rebels, we can tell they're equals. they communicate with each other incredibly well; they trust each other; they know that the other is competent and capable.

and i just think that hera finding her person, realizing she's fallen in love with him, and then allowing herself to be in love with him, is just so special and beautiful.

(also thinking about how it took strength and bravery for her to put her heart on the line like that, to fall for him so deeply, and then to have that torn away from her but we don't need to talk about that)

Did I get everything I wanted out of the Ahsoka series? No. Did I want Thrawn and Ezra to become unlikely allies? Yes.

I also wanted Eli to find Thrawn with help from the Chiss Ascendancy, for them to get married and adopt Un’hee, and for her to be one of Ezra’s first padawans. But the Disney overloads would never allow such wonderful things

for the christmas ficlet ask game, could you do sabezra with decorating for Christmas please?

Not to quote the ship in question, but I can always count on you to send Sabezra and I LOVE it (this is literally one of the only Sabezra asks I got, which is so weird! I usually get a bunch of Sabezra). Anyways enjoy!!

“Okay,” Ezra said, studying the checklist Sabine had written out earlier in the day. “Ten boxes of the multi-color strands—”

“Check,” Sabine said, pushing the cart forward as they strolled down the aisle.

“We need a few of the green ones and the white ones for Kanan and Hera.”

Grabbing two boxes of each, Sabine said, “Those two really have no imagination.”

“It’s more like Hera likes simple and elegant, and Kanan likes Hera,” Ezra said as she tossed the two boxes into the cart. “But yeah, that too. Now we need obscene amounts of tinsel, a fake snowman, and as many weird looking ornaments as we can find. Uh, where are we getting the money for this?”

“My rich parents,” Sabine said, pausing next to  a shelf and studying the ornament selection. “Frog wearing a Santa hat and suspenders?”

“Oh, definitely,” Ezra said.

oh man what if ezra had nightmares of finally coming back home to find out that hera, sabine, and zeb were killed in the war effort

mandalorian and rebel. the ghost crew's most colourful member. bomb creator, and artist. darksaber user. “the empire wanted to destroy worlds, and they did. they destroyed mine.”

thinking about how hera lost her brother and her mother to two different wars, and had a father who didn't believe in her and couldn't see past his own vision of the fight to give her the time of day, so she left her home and remaining family behind. thinking about how chopper crashed, went down with his pilot over a warzone, and would have definitely been sent to the scrap pile if hera hadn't saved him, but he still had to wake up to find out that his pilot was dead. thinking about how, after surviving order 66, kanan bounced around from place to place, never letting himself stay too long or get close to anyone because it could cost him his life if anyone found out who he was, and how lonely that would've been to have to bury his past like that. thinking about zeb, another survivor of genocide, thought he was the only one of his people left, truly all alone in the big wide galaxy, and feeling like it was partially his fault because he couldn't save more of his people. thinking about sabine who was young and made an ambitious, devastating mistake that she tried to fix, but her family and clan disowned her anyway, and when she tried to find a new group to belong to, they left her for dead all alone. thinking about ezra, whose parents were taken away from him at age 7 and the person his parents trusted to look out for him if something happened also abandoned him, so he was left orphaned and alone and had to figure out how to survive all on his own, scared to ever get close to anyone because what if they left him too?

just thinking about how every single member of the ghost crew was alone until they found each other. thinking about how hera started that all by first saving chopper and then by giving herself a new home (the ghost), and in turn, giving every member of the ghost crew a new home and a family they could rely on to never abandon them.
