This shot from "Vertigo" is a masterclass in Hitchcock’s use of reflection to reinforce the film’s themes of identity and duplicity. As Scottie, played by Jimmy Stewart, stands beside Judy, played by Kim Novak, the mirror doesn't just capture their likeness—it reflects the fractured identities at play. Judy has transformed into Madeleine yet remains herself, a visual doubling that mirrors her inner conflict and deception. The dual reflections suggest that neither character is whole; both are trapped in illusions—Scottie in his obsessive recreation of Madeleine and Judy in her complicit performance. The mirror becomes a symbol of the characters’ divided selves, perfectly encapsulating the film’s exploration of identity, obsession, and the haunting grip of the past.

It's been a good amount of time that I've been sort of fan casting some animated faves for pure funzies.
Sykes (Oliver and Company): Raymond Burr. Specifically the looks he rocks in Hitchcock's masterpiece Rear Window.

Burr (here plays as Lars Thorwald) is absolutely huge and towering; big bovine eyes and gray wavy hair (plus glasses). For the majority of the movie he's seen from afar, not entirely clearly, or dwelling in the shadows (sometimes smoking a cigar). He's a silent brutish character.
I've choose him especially for the argument that follows
If you're familiar with the movie, you could instantly recognize these screenshots underneath, and if you're also familiar with Oliver and Company, why it would triple the dread if it was actually Sykes doing it.

Dear Mr. Burr wherever you are, you would have been a wonderful Sykes to me.
If you haven't still seen Rear Window I most warmly reccomend to give it a try! (then turn back here and tell me if Mr. Thorwald doesn't give the dreadfull loanshark vibes)
