White people have feared the Japanese - 2 (Essay)
Tumblr media
A terakoya (Personal School)
The Japanese's ability to be feared by white people was probably cultivated over a long history of 2000 years. I think the 300 years from around 1600 AD were significant.
Special note 1: Japan did not accept Christianity. It was leaders such as Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu who were not fooled by Christianity's superficially beautiful doctrines and saw through its uncooperative and discriminatory (slavery-affirming) nature, who began to embrace Christianity and protected Japan from its damage. The logic of discriminating against people of color originates from Christianity. Japan was not dominated by Christians.
Special note 2: The high level of education in the Edo period. The children of samurai studied at domain schools (Hanko) and the children of ordinary people studied at temple schools (Terakoya). Many children studied reading, writing, abacus, literature, science, philosophy, etc.. The literacy rate of Japanese people was higher than that of China and Korea at the same time and higher than that of the USA today. This foundation allowed them to make a head start in learning and incorporating Western civilization and culture after the Meiji period.
But Japan is now losing these advantages. Years of LDP politics and negative influence both at home and abroad are eating away at these legacies. Many people want to make Japan a bad country. Representatives of these are politicians and bureaucrats.

Baby boomers are likely to be more demanding medically than their elders.
Several factors converge towards this trend
Level of education and information
Baby boomers are generally more educated and informed than previous generations.
They have better access to medical information and are more likely to seek quality care.
They are more likely to ask questions, challenge diagnoses, and seek alternative treatment options.
High expectations for quality of life
Baby boomers grew up in a period of prosperity and have high expectations for quality of life.
They are less willing to accept age-related limitations and are more likely to seek solutions to maintain their autonomy and well-being.
They have a proactive approach to their health, they want to continue being active for as long as possible.
Familiarity with technology
Baby boomers are more comfortable with technology than previous generations.
They are more likely to use digital tools to monitor their health, search for medical information and communicate with healthcare professionals.
They are more likely to use telemedicine tools or medical monitoring applications.
Awareness of patients' rights
Baby boomers are more aware of their rights as patients.
They are more likely to hold healthcare professionals accountable and seek recourse if something goes wrong.
The financial aspect
Baby boomers often have better financial situations than their elders, which allows them to have access to more expensive care.
Potential consequences
This increased requirement could lead to an increase in demand for health services, which could put a strain on health systems.
It could also stimulate innovation in the healthcare sector, with the development of new technologies and new approaches to care.
In conclusion, it is likely that baby boomers will be more demanding in terms of medical care than their elders, which will have important implications for health systems.
Go further

think lot of what is forgotten about, is what a special interest can actually work like for someone and what it means.
first, what special interest can be defined as? well as we know, in the autism criteria such as "special interest" matter is not directly mentioned. though, looking at how this sort of interest manifests in general, would go under repetitive behaviour that impairs an individual to some sort of degree as a result.
autistic people may have a very strong interest in something, could be anything, in which they have a specific focus on a lot of the time, talk a lot about, know more about, which would be called a special interest.
what we forget here, is that a special interest can be very much disabling! to anyone of any degree or level of needs, however it does manifest in different ways and more severe for those with higher needs or those with higher autism support level.
for a lower needs individual, it could be that it impairs them plenty socially, could be something they steer into when communicating quite often creating troubles with talking to others or about things or they struggle to focus on something unrelated to it quite a bit, they may have the capability to consume a lot of information about it and store it ect! not one size fits all matter but seems quite common among lower needs folk by my experience and knowledge.
for someone higher needs in particular, a special interest could manifest veryyyy differently to this and it is often more severe in how it impacts their day to day functioning, it can be something that pretty often even causes the person distress and overwhelm, it could be that not engaging in it is impossible or significantly troubling to do, could be total way of communication, and could also be that actually they struggle to process and understand a lot of information about it and remember it especially with cognitive challenges often come with being higher need.
think its important to note, that special interest doesn't just mean quirky type of interest, but it really does come with some sort of impairment, even minimal, in life

How I Earned a 782 Credit Score at 23
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I believe that understanding the ins and outs of managing our finances is essential in our quest for leveling up in life. After all, what good is achieving our dreams if we're not equipped with the knowledge and tools to sustain and grow our success? So how did I do it?
1. Living with parents while in school
While I had the advantage of fewer bills to pay, I still encountered challenges in managing my finances effectively. In the past, I used to blow money like it was nothing, with little to no savings to show for it. However, recognizing the opportunity to change my habits, I embarked on a journey of financial education, starting with reading "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. Over the course of 6-12 months, I diligently saved and invested most of my income, laying the groundwork for my financial future. This disciplined approach not only helped me build a healthy relationship with money but also demonstrated to the bank that I was responsible and capable of handling a credit card. It was only after this period of financial growth and learning that I felt confident enough to apply for my first credit card. After being rejected 3 times prior!
2. Become Delusional as F**k
The biggest change in my relationship with money came when I realized that it's not inherently bad; I have a good relationship with money, and money works for me—this is my reality i lived in even during the times I was broke. I remained delusional in my belief that financialsuccess for me was attainable, and remarkably, it worked. This perspective empowered me to view money as a tool for creating wealth rather than something to fear. I learned to use a credit card to work for me, not as a slave to debt, and discovered how to leverage debt to make more money. This shift in mindset helped me overcome financial fears and embrace opportunities for growth.

“Make Money When your Young, Pretty & Ambitious.”
How to make a credit card work for you
Keep Low Credit Utilization:
Aim to keep your credit card balances low relative to your credit limits. This utilization ratio should ideally be below 30%, with lower percentages being even better. High credit utilization can negatively impact your credit score.
Pay On Time, DONT MISS PAYMENTS
Consistently paying your credit card bills on time is crucial for maintaining a high credit score. Late payments can significantly damage your credit score and stay on your credit report for years.
Keep Old Accounts Open:
The length of your credit history is an essential factor in determining your credit score. Keeping old credit card accounts open, even if you're not actively using them, can help lengthen your credit history and improve your score.
Monitor Your Credit Report:
Reviewing your credit report allows you to identify any errors or inaccuracies that could be negatively impacting your score. You're entitled to a free credit report from each of the major credit bureaus—Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion—once every 12 months.
Avoid Closing Old Accounts
Closing old credit card accounts can shorten your credit history and reduce your overall available credit, both of which can lower your credit score. Unless the account carries high fees or you're unable to manage it responsibly, consider keeping it open.
Conclusion:
Through disciplined financial habits and strategic planning, I achieved and maintained a high credit score. This journey is only the beginning of my commitment to financial responsibility. seems to me like zac oyama is repping some experiences of asian american schoolkids, defined by such hits like 'regulate your anger,' 'communicate clearer to deliberately misunderstanding assholes,' and 'perpetual sense of unbelonging in both the american part and the asian part of your life.'

I wonder how autistics deal with tankery, and that's if they even joined the sport in the first place.
I know tanks to be very loud and very hot and/or smelly when you're inside one, so i understand it to be very hard because of sensory issues.
But i'm fascinated by the concept of special ed sensha do or something, i wonder how, specifically, the autistics will be taught how to use tanks for sport if it's very loud and overstimulating.
I understand that some autistic individuals to be perfectly fine with it, or it doesn't impact their ability to use them at all due to them either liking it or using headphones to lessen the sensory impact, but i mostly wonder about the SPED ones.
I know that some may tell me that they just don't or in the case of Ooarai, it's not an elective so they don't have to, but what about those who really want to join the sport but can't?
I think i'll solve this by making a fanfiction, maybe on here on this blog.

I imagine that with Saruhiko's daughter people always wonder if he'll homeschool her, since he was a dropout and made it to a high paying job, he must see school as unnecessary?
But I'd imagine he'd be like "fuck no", probably because he can't teach her that much, he doesn't want her to be stuck at home for more than necessary and also he has a feeling that "well, world's different. She might have some tough luck with jobs." It's not everyday that a school dropout becomes a police officer.
I feel like Fushimi wouldn’t homeschool his kid mainly because he doesn’t have time for that, like he’s already gotta babysit half of S4 he doesn’t have time to be a teacher too. I feel like he would probably think poorly of his own abilities in that area too, like Fushimi can easily understand complex concepts but I don’t know if he’d feel comfortable teaching those, particularly to a small child. If his daughter turned out to be more ‘normal’ than he is from an academic standpoint or especially if she had some kind of learning disability I could see Fushimi struggling because he doesn’t really understand the feeling of not being able to do things which he sees as easy, like he doesn't know how to explain these things simply because to him it already is simple. And then he’d have the worry that he’s making his kid feel inferior, the way Niki did to him, but Fushimi doesn’t know how to patiently teach either. Combine that with having a job that keeps him pretty steadily busy I think he’d worry that if he homeschools her she won’t really be able to get a proper education because he keeps getting interrupted by work (plus I could see Fushimi worrying that here’s another thing where if he fails his daughter she could end up totally messed up like him, the stress of possibly screwing up her life by being a poor teacher is too much for him).
I think even though Fushimi himself never had much use for school he’d at least want to give his kid the option of it, especially if he can find her a good one (imagining Fushimi quietly worrying over where to send her and one day Munakata just casually leaves some pamphlets on his desk for highly rated private schools). I think he would hope that his kid can have a better time at school than he did and live a more ‘normal’ life, where she goes to school and makes friends and doesn’t want to drop out just to show the world that she’s worth something. If she was particularly gifted I could see him trying to add a little to her curriculum on his own as needed, like his kid gets bored at school and Fushimi knows the feeling because he was like that too. So he tries to find time after school and when he’s done with work to give her like private schooling on higher level subjects, more of a supplement than a replacement for school and a way to spend time with her too while still trying his best to balance work and being a parent.

The further you go, the lonelier it gets.
The road to the top of the mountain is not made for everyone.
Don't keep around baggage that weighs you down.
Then, after you get to the top be a guiding light for those brave and disciplined enough to get to your level.
Let those strong enough accompany you.

Twitter: Wilbur didn't do anything! There's no proof!
Wilbur in his apology:
"this persons feelings are completely vaild"
"These actions caused alot of pain to my ex-girlfriend"
"I have come to realise how much my past behaviour hurt this person"
(Realise Google definition: become fully AWARE of (something) as a fact; understand CLEARLY)
"I understood from our numerous conversation [...] consensual" followed by "while I may have perceived our interactions differently, I recognise that has processed and expressed feeling of hurt"
His "I understood" turns to a very uncertain "I may have perceived" - the additional "may have" making him seem not very confident in what he's saying.
He's confident in the things that make him look better but not confident when it comes to the overall overview of the situation because he saw it different.
He recognised that he had done something bad. This is from his apology himself!
But The Looky why are you taking apart quotes?
Wilbur Soot, on multiple occasions, has stated that he is an English Major (he literally wrote most the dsmp scripts), so why would an English major international use this type of wording.
Because when you take it apart, it makes him seem more confident in himself and pushes that he's not confident in her 'allegations'
His lack of confidence and acknowledgment is a divisive move by Wilbur to capitalise on his vulnerable fans and audience to make them believe in him more. The MEDIA and NEWS do this all the time.
It creates a "if he doesn't know what he's talking about then he didn't do it vibe" or a plain display ignorance, to make him look better.
And he made an apology UNPROMPTED, like when shelby said her ex she didn't say Wilbur.
It could have been an ex before or after him, if it wasn't him then he wouldn't need to apologise and could've been like "Hey that's not me!"
He didn't. He said it was him by making a response. Why apologise for something you didn't do?
You could argue that Shelby was a "terrible partner" or "used him for his clout" but on what basis?
If she was a terrible partner that's make a pair, and there is a bunch of evidence that support the fact that Wilbur behaves the way BOTH HE AND SHE HAVE STATED.
And if she was "using him for clout" then he could have been like, "Hey I don't like you. I don't want to stream with you anymore"
But then he joined Origins Smp and Shelby was there, they were both ghost, he goes out of his way to interact with her.
Your gonna act like if Wilbur told Tommy he was uncomfortable with Shelby being there, Tommy would have said no? Really?
And in the some Wilbur / shelby streams Wilbur was at her house.
Wilbur would have been better of saying his apology was AI generated and to have written a new one with he excuse, "he was in a rush"
