Two "If Flowey had a dragon" AUs.
First, Days in Spiral (DiS for short).
Takes place after the True Pacifist Route. In this AU, Taru is a cosmic dragon who Flowey meets after the empty Underground (which he decided to stay in) nearly collapses. The flower is taken through a cosmic portal for his safety. He's stuck with them and their friends for a day, then he's taken back to Earth, then decides that going into space could be fun.
Taru also looks different sometimes because they have a normal form and a cosmic form.
Second is Heartstrings
In Heartstrings, Taru is a normal dragon who fell down into the Underground after being banished from their clan. (There were a few dragons still living on the Surface; they're not the same as monsters.) Taru meets Flowey during the period when he could reset. They end up tainted with Determination after they and Flowey go to the True Lab for a timeline. They can remember resets afterwards, but can't reset themself. So, Flowey keeps them around to keep an eye on them so they don't ruin his plans, and he gets a little more attached than he wanted to.
